I figured I should get fitted for clubs and then try a golf lesson. I found JPK golf instruction here on yelp, read the great reviews and decided to book a half hour lesson. I am so thankful I decided to do this. John was friendly, took the time to ask me about my goals, about my game, any injuries, my best club vs. worst club and even spent the time to review the data from a Ping club fitting session that I had just gone through earlier in the day. He then had me do some warm-up swings and took some video which we reviewed together as he pointed out what I was doing well and what needed fixing. He gave me three things to change/work on and before the half hour was done I was hitting the ball better than I ever have. I could not believe it. It felt so good to actually hit the ball down the middle of the fairway! hah hah! After I left I was hoping that what he thad taught me would stick - and apparently it has. I just got back from the range this morning and I have never had so much fun hitting balls. Just this one lesson has changed the whole game for me. I'm looking forward to doing more. I was truly blessed to be matched with Coach Lobeck, he is very patient , knowledgeable, and open-minded! He switched up my lessons on the spot if whatever he was trying to teach me wasn't working for me! His communication and teaching style was on point for my learning style. My golf game has improved and I'm a bit more confident on the course. I plan to keep practicing what I've learned thus far and return for another round of lessons in 2026! All the coaches I met seem great, but I highly recommend Coach Lobeck!

In his garage you have the simulator to hit onto. It's a great location now with the summer heat. But it's always good to go outside at the driving range. I have been an high handicap golfer for the past 15 years. At 52 yrs old, I had to make a decision to see if I really want to improve my game. It's been interesting, I knew my game would get worst before I start seeing improvement. And I was correct! However, whats keeping me going is that I am starting to see shots I haven't done before. I'm also starting to understand what exactly he wants me to do. Shane is a great instructor, he's very easy to understand, and very easy to talk to. I can ask him any questions, and he gives me an easy answer that I can understand. Now I'm very excited to attend a lesson. Can't wait to improve and shane is making this a lot of fun.

Service: 2-stars - I booked a twilight tee time through GolfNow (GN) and the morning of, it was…read morecancelled. I was notified via email from GN that my cancellation request was being processed (which I never requested). So I contacted Rancho Manana's pro shop to ask what happened because I did not request to cancel my afternoon tee time. Then Tom at the pro shop told me he received a call from GN to cancel my tee time, allegedly. And of course, the tee time was booked up within an hour. So Tom tells me I can book for other open tee times instead. The resolution was for the customer to lose their original tee time, and then rebook a different tee time because the pro shop canceled my tee time erroneously. Ultimately had to book an earlier tee time and I requested for Tom to hook me up with a cheaper rate due to their mess-up. So Tom agreed and gave me a discounted greens fee. I suppose that was nice but it would have been better if he offered it in the beginning after acknowledging that he cancelled my tee time without verifying the caller who called in to cancel my tee time. Course: 4-stars - Challenging, fun tracks with decent greens. I'd say the only reason for the minus 1 star is due to the driving range being kind of small and cost of range balls - $10 for a small bag of balls? Come on - just feels like they're taking advantage of the players here. Overall: 3-stars - Had a great time with the boys and definitely would love to come back. Just sucked to have to deal with some BS the morning of my tee time. If I hadn't called GolfNow's customer service to clear things up and if Tom didn't make it right for his mistake, and me and the boys didn't have a great time, then this would be a 1-star review. But luckily, all the golfers in my group (6 players) were able to make it to an earlier tee time(s) and we worked it all out. So 3-stars for having a fun set of 18 holes.
