Please consider the cost of the event itself before booking this place. Predatory pricing with no attention to detail is a poor reflection of how the management is marketing their country club. There are many other venues (charging considerably less fees) that make an effort to promote quality of the venue. Country Club used to equate to classy, not here.

The middle aged, dark haired gentleman (loose term here) working the order/repair desk was extremely rude. Not matter of fact, rude. Big attitude. He made me feel like an idiot. A smaller group has been playing The Futures on Mondays for some time now. 500 Club has ALWAYS been a little more ($) than comparable courses, and not good customer service. Behind the counter, they act like they're doing you a favor. Now recently, they built a new facility/building for The Futures and events - the 9 hole course next door. And in so doing, did away with the chipping green. Permanently. That makes them the ONLY course in The Valley that doesn't have one. Seriously. And what, you ask, did they name the new building (and course?)? THE VIEW. Lmao. With that, my Monday group just changed locations. Permanently.

I'm no grass expert but the grass seemed different. Very short and hard. Holding a shot was almost impossible. The sand traps were iffy as well. Very little sand in most of them. While it looks like a desert course, the desert was mostly free of bushes and cacti. The pace of play was OK for a Friday afternoon. We played the front in 2 hours and the back in 2 1/2 hours. We never saw a ranger. The practice area was pretty chewed up but usable.
