It was definitely worth the trip. The atmosphere is a bit funky, and reminded us of the kind of "soul food" restaurants we grew up with; what they lacked in decor they more than made up for in their flavorful food and kind, personable service. The she crab soup was excellent, by the way, and we shared the "special order" fried catfish dinner with collard greens and macaroni & cheese. (Over my wife's protestations, I also decided to grab some the day's Red Velvet Cake for later.) We highly recommend it!!!

The Teriyaki sauce tasted like the real deal, a mixture of sweet, savory, tangy, and salty. The box also came with one carrot and one celery stick. They were decently sized, and I'm not usually a vegetables guy, but I tried them out and was amazed. The celery stick balanced out the chicken and fries and was really refreshing to have. I went back and gave my feedback to the owner, and I just have to say, the owner was really nice. I could tell that this is what he wanted to do, and this is his dream. He's a people person. If you ever order from Nothing But Chicken and notice that one piece is smaller than the others, don't worry; there will be an extra piece in the box just for you. The only issue I had was with the menu, a bit confusing to understand, but overall not a big problem. The food is good, the owner is nice. I would recommend trying it out for yourself!
