I decided yesterday to try ii out. Ordered a double pepperoni iwith pineapple. Plus 2 slices of cheesecake with strawberry sauce. It was a disappointment. Upon pickup the pizza looked great, smell was awesome and it was hot. By the time I had gotten through half a slice the dough was tuff and chewy, it did taste great, good sauce, nice amount of cheese but the crust through it all off. The cheesecake tasted like a bad frozen cheesecake. I had better when purchased from Smart & Final! The strawberry sauce given was minimal. I've tried a few items here, the pizza is definitely the best thing I've had there. My son was not a fan of the chicken, he ended up throwing it out and just eating pizza, so I probably wouldn't venture into the rest of menu. I've never eaten inside, we get takeout, so I can't speak to the dining experience. You can order online and pick up is easy. Tried this locally owned pizza place! We got wings, a medium pizza, a chicken parm sandwich and a small salad. Wings were mid. The pizza was good but the crust is a little crunchy for my taste. Lots of toppings, well worth the cost. The chicken parm sandwich is HUGE. And the small salad was just romaine with a tomato wedge and pepperoncini but it was fresh. The order was ready before the 30 time promised. The parking lot is TINY. You might have to find street parking. There is indoor seating but it's worn down. Thursday night is our takeout night and this location has been popping up on my feed for a couple of months now. I like the idea of supporting a small business. Called for the pizza instead of using the different apps you can order from. The apps seem to mark it up by a couple of dollars per pizza. We got a chicken Alfredo pizza and a barbecue chicken pizza and an order of their crazy bread. The total was $80. Both of the pizzas were pretty good great crust plenty of cheese and sauce. I don't understand these 5 star reviews and I don't think my food was just an off night. I have a go to pizza spot but they were quoting a really long delivery time. No problem, we'll try somewhere else. Italia had great reviews with the delivery services and yelp, so I figured why not. Pizza - there was nothing that wowed me. It kinda reminded me of Chuck E Cheese pizza. The mushrooms were pre cooked, so they were slimy and chewy (personal preference is raw mushrooms cooked by the oven). The toppings were put on before the cheese so when we went to take the slice out all the toppings slid off. Just wasn't a great pizza. Salad - antipasto salad. It was quite boring. giardiniera had no flavor. Not even the tangy vinegar, just bland. Very little meat or cheese but so much canned parm it looked like snow. For a $15 salad, very disappointing. Just drove 30 minutes away to get a "four cheese pizza" got in the car and opened it and it's a slop pizza with artichoke on it. My kids won't eat it. Seems to be a slop mess of ricotta cheese and cheddar cheese ? For some reason there is cheddar cheese? I didn't even know pizza places had cheddar cheese but ok. Giant waste of money and time. They told me if you say on the phone they won't put artichoke leaves on it so when you call it in ask for no artichoke leaves. Pizza is a wide category. I got a pepperoni slice. Very decent slice. It's a medium thick crust which tastes good. Good ingredients. They take pride in their food. Pizza magazines.
