Got a couple pizzas to go and both were tasty. Great dough and cheese. Descent size for the price. They did not answer when I called a few times to order but was able to place it on Uber Eats for pick up and was ready quickly. Haven't seen any other good italian style pizzas in the area so glad to have this here. Just need them to serve the pizzas at the Aromi restaurant next door!

Really good margarita pizza...thin crust just how I love. Calm and quiet, airy and bright ambiance for a nice quick lunch. Would come back for sure!

Porcellina Pizza

Good crust and combinations although the toppings were a bit bland and expensive. I placed an order to go and they finished it quickly. However, the interaction for pick up was terse and unfriendly. The pizzas were not properly cut and we had to slice them ourselves at home. *Margherita: the cheese was stretchy and mild which went well with the light and bright tomato sauce. There was still a sweet and acidic quality to the sauce. The basil was a bit burnt and poorly dispersed. The bottom was limp while the crust had the best texture and char. *Procellina: although this contained smoked mozzarella and toasted almonds, there was an absence of smokiness and nuttiness. The pancetta offered a bit of saltiness and arugula some bitterness but it was missing significant flavor. While I normally love arugula, this pizza needed a citrus or fruity element to brighten the flavors or break through the dryness. *Pizza Tiramisu: typical crust with mascarpone cream, lady fingers and espresso powder. The cream was subtly sweet and thick. I wished the crust was altered slightly to suit a dessert profile. The espresso aspect was barely detectable and overall it did not embody a tiramisu. However, I can see this being done better with the breading being used as a carrier for a tiramisu inspired dip. The quality of ingredients was commendable although I feel like the overall flavors needed enhancement. Service needs work and take out orders should be properly handled. It was disappointing to make my party wait for me to slice up pizza. I would stick to the simpler options.

Porcellina Pizza

Simply just overpriced mediocre pizza. Three pizzas cost 60 dollars for small portions. Servers also glared at us upon entering and ignored us. I ordered the Porcellini, margherita, and tiramisu pizza. Porcellini pizza was room temperature and salty. The overall flavors of the cheese and prosciutto weren't my cup of tea. The margherita pizza was my favorite pizza and the cheese was melty and delicious. However, despite the gooey cheese, the pizza was still barely warm. Tiramisu pizza was creamy and sweet, but the pizza crust didn't seem to really complement the mounds of cream on top. Overall, I wouldn't head back due to the quality not matching the price.

Pizza by Aromi is finally open! It's located next door to Aromi Italian Cuisine, and it's is specializing pizzas, salad, and anti pasta, not to mention scrumptious desserts. However, there is no doubt their pizzas are going to be the highlights of this new pizzeria. I had the Mortadella made with quality imported mortadella, mozzarella cheese, pistachio pesto sauce, a centered burrata cheese ball, and garnished chopped fresh pistachios. I was a great pizza, and I was particularly fond of the crust. It offered a nice crispy exterior with a terrific, soft, and chewy center. I love that they add salt to their dough because it finishes the crust's flavor well. The imported mortadella was very good, and the pistachio pest was quite tasty. Also, the mozzarella cheese was fresh and offered that great flavor. It almost tastes like butter against the pizza's crust. It was so good, I ate the whole pizza in one sitting. I usually save half for the next day. I could not resist. They offer a variety of pizzas, including the traditional margherita pizza to pizzas with prosciutto, sausage, egg plant, spicy salami, smoked salmon, and much more. They also offer calzones, salads, and a melee of tasty appetizers or antipasti. They offer beer and wine, in side and outside seating, and some great friendly service. The place has a nice rustic feeling.

Stopped here on the way to the SDFC game and really enjoyed it! It reminded me of pizza in Italy. I ordered the Rustica pizza, which I loved and my wife got the Parmigiana pizza which she said was also great. We tried the Tiramisu dessert pizza, which was different but also good. Service was excellent. Restaurant was simple and had patio seating. Definitely going back here again.

Insalata Aromi

Super disappointed in this pizza restaurant. Not sure if it's because we ordered take out but $42 for a SMALL pizza and "salad" with no lettuce. Maybe I was misled by the verbiage on the menu but I would've assumed there would be lettuce or spinach with the radishes as well. Both super small portions. Aside from the size, the pizza was cold, the cheese was a thick and immediately fell off the whole pizza when we cut it. I so badly wanted to like this Place because the restaurant next door is good, but it's way overpriced and left us super disappointed.

Calzone Rosso

I ordered the calzone rosso which is supposed to have tomato sauce, mozzarella, prosciutto cotto, and basil. What I received was more like unmelted mozzarella, deli ham, a little bit of tomato sauce, and no basil. Pretty dissatisfied.

Cheese Wheel Pasta

My DIL and son took me to a great Italian place. It says pizza and they do have a lot of them and special ovens for them but the other z Italian food is great. Not your typical Italian American menu. The owner is Italian and you can hear that heavy accent when he takes your order. They take reservations. We chose to sit outside. Drinks were okay. I was the only one who got a cocktail-a lemon drop. Not very big and although the coup was rimmed with sugar the cocktail itself was not sweet. DIL had the usual prosecco and son, a beer. Small water glasses but cold water left in bottle on table to refill yourself. We got the truffle fries as an appetizer-came out hot, crispy with a scattering of arugula amongst the fries-so good and were devoured straight away. DIL ordered the salami pizza. It looked great and she said it was. I got the chicken Pomodoro which was a large fried chicken breast with pomodoro sauce and cheese with a large side of spaghetti pimodoro on the side. Had to take some home in a doggie box. Sim ordered the cheese wheel. Had a choice of parmesan or pecorino. He chose the later. This night it was sausage and mushrooms. Always made at your table. Fun! We left fully satisfied. It's in a strip mall just off the 8 and Lake Murray.

I was very excited to try the new Pizza by Aromi. We had a margherita pizza and rustica pizza and they were both delicious. I will be back again soon to try more. Yum!

Great pizza, but a little pricey. I had the sausage mushroom pizza. Reminded me of pizza I ate in Europe last summer.

They offer great combo deals. You can do a whole pie or grab combos like one slice with a soda, two slices with a soda, or two slices with a beer. Solid value. For under $20, I got two slices of pizza and a craft beer. Their craft beer selection is awesome and definitely a highlight. I ordered two slices: *Surf Rider: Their most popular and classic pizza. The New York-style crust was phenomenal, but for my taste there were way too many chunks of garlic. *Basil Pesto & Ricotta: Again, great New York-style crust. I wish they added pepperoni to this one. The ricotta flavor was pretty subtle so while it was a nice pizza, it didn't really stand out. The space itself is great with indoor seating plus two large outdoor seating areas, complete with TVs for sporting events. Dogs are allowed, which is a nice bonus. They even give out dog treats at the counter. There's only street parking, but I still found a spot just a few minutes away. Overall, this is a cute spot with amazing New York-style crust, which is my favorite. The employees were very friendly, and it took less than five minutes to order and have the slices ready. They even brought them out to me. While the crust was excellent, the overall flavor of the pizzas didn't quite hit for me. Still a solid place, especially if you're big on crust and craft beer.

The fried pork pieces the best pork belly bites Ive ever had...they were light, yet meaty, and crispy outside, tossed in their gochuijang..so savory with a slight kick thay made me dive back in (comes in two order sizes). The salad was LARGE, with cold and crisp chopped romaine (no brown pieces to be found!!) topped with a merry go round effect of sliced pepperoni, shaved white onions, seaaoned greek olives, halved cherry tomatoes, marinated arttchokes, shredded mozzarella tossed in a vinaigrette with a slight hint of lemon capped off with a sprinkle of jalapeños. Next up my dining mate ordered the smashburger..made DOUBLE, with the most delectable garlic aioli and a side of the Mastiff fries a surprise plate of crispy salty potato skinn on wedges that are soft, seasoned well amd topped with their house sauce(yummmm..creamy and warm) and cotija cheese. First of all, I've not really been a huge deep dish fan. And these are hefty pies! But once you let your teeth sink into a slice, you are delighted by the crunch and crispness of the edges and yet the delicate lightness of the dough in the middle. How does he do that? It's not heavy. But it's thick on flavor. The classic is the pepperoni, with or without jalapeños (for those who like some heat). Those lil' meat discs are fired to perfection w/ a perfect toasty crunch. That's how I like it. So good. The marinara is just right for me. It's not overflowing and trying to cover up anything.
