Though this location opened in November, we are hoping that they eventually add some more ambience because nothing about this restaurant says Italian. No music playing and everything seemed very sterile. There were no decorations on the wall and you can hear other people's conversation. The rolls were hot and very good. The chicken Alfredo could've used a bit more seasoning and the chicken was very bland. The baked manicotti had lots of cheese in it and everything came out very hot. The portions are adequate for what you're paying. It could just be us, but we really like salads that are made of lettuce and your typical croutons, Parmesan, etc. other than iceberg lettuce and carrot shards. My husband and I stopped at the last minute to have dinner on Saturday. It was amazingly delicious. He had the chicken parmesan, and I had stuffed mushrooms, dipping a roll in the sauce. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was quiet. We could not have asked for a better experience. read more

The food has always been good here, however, when they built their new location they made it significantly smaller than their previous location. The ambiance was also severely lacking and didn't feel like an Italian restaurant. If you need a high chair for a child....good luck, they only have one, better bring your own. We didn't stay. Tried to visit another Italian place in town first but they were closed on Monday's so we ended up here. Service was a little slow but we were in no rush. The garlic knots are crazy good, definitely homemade and fresh as can be. I had the homemade Italian dressing on my salad, which is kinda like a chilled tomato sauce. It was delicious. I ordered the tortellini ala panna and asked them to add spinach, it was incredible! For a hole in the wall restaurant, I was very impressed with the food. My brother got the spaghetti which he enjoyed. For 2 people for lunch (bread, salad, entrees and a split dessert) it was only about $30, so very reasonably priced. read more

From Fort Worth, and heard this place had the best Italian around. We were planning to have our 53rd Anniversary dinner here. Tried to make reservations for 8 on Saturday night. But wait! We have eaten here twice on Thursdays for lunch & were very impressed with the food & service. We tried the pizza by the piece for 5.95 supreme. The one piece was so large it was cut to give 2 pieces. My wife & shared a piece each, small salad & dipping garlic & olive oil for a total of 11.50. What a bargain! Love Italian village. I've never been disappointed in anything I've had there. My favorites are chicken fettuccine Alfredo, calzones w/o Italian sausage and there bread is heaven. Im in Corsicana this weekend from out of town, for work. I found this little hole in the wall Italian restaurant. My husband and I ate here and really enjoyed ourselves. The Caesar salad was large and dressed very well with homemade croutons. The pasta primavera was very good, a very large portion my husband and I were able to share. We took limoncello cake and tiaramisu to go and will eat it later. Definitely would eat here again and recommend to anyone looking for good Italian food. read more

I would rate no stars if I could. My husband worked there before he left because of the unclean conditions and safety hazards forced him to quit. He said the cook would smoke and ash in the food. They were infested with roaches even though they did bomb they never would wipe down the counters afterward before they would start preparing the food where the poison had been sprayed. They have the occasional off-day, but I usually have good experiences here. They're pretty much the only true Italian place in town, but aren't too busy, so you'll get good attention from the staff and the wait for food isn't long. Absolutely fantastic. The pizzas are bigger and cheaper than somewhere like Pizza Huts while being more delicious with better ingredients and spices. The wait was not very long despite everything being cooked to order. Our server was incredible kind and helpful, even boxing up our leftovers for us. Everything was delicious. Two stars primarily for the service. The food was actually pretty good considering most of it was frozen but our waitress had an attitude and was not very knowledgeable or professional. There were six of us total and her tip would've been very good had she done an adequate job, but she didn't even clear our table of dishes after we were finished and were visiting with our friends. It literally tastes like the crap you find in the frozen food section at the store. Every time I have gone there I am sick as a dog the next day. "Glasses off"....this is SOLELY based off the service....but I will say first and foremost...that baked ziti was AWESOME!!! But this service....sucked! We came in around 5pm on a Saturday, there were only 2 other tables, with 3 people seated at each table and there were 3 in my party = 9 total customers. The gentleman at the front counter greeted us upon entering and stated we could sit any place and so we did. While I went to the restroom, he brought over a menu and said he would be back. Once I came back out and was seated for sometime, I asked when he'd be back. Let me give this disclaimer, I grew up here in Corsicana and used to frequent this spot, so I knew what I wanted to order and didn't even need to look at the menu. The gentleman came over and brought some "piss warm" ...dry-flavorless bread. I told him I knew what I wanted to order, he picked up the menu and left. When he came back, I asked for some marinara or something to help this bread...he was like "sure"! Now I don't know if Dallas spots have me spoiled because they offer complimentary olive oil & garlic dipping sauce for bread...I don't know! He brought out this marinara sauce that was okay...definitely nothing to write home about and even with a blessing...it still wasn't hitting. So when he came back with my baked ziti, I asked for the olive oil & garlic sauce. Now don't get me wrong Yelp, I don't mind paying for anything I order, but keep in mind....like I said...I'm used to complimentary sauce with bread. Me personally...I feel like it would have been nice, had he just said "sure I can bring you that, keep in mind there is an additional charge". I didn't look at the menu when I had it and he picked up the menu when he took my order. So I ate, talked with my mom & sister and then asked for a to-go container and my check. Now imagine my surprise when I receive my bill and there's a charge for the marinara and the olive oil sauce. So when I go to the counter to pay, I mentioned to him that it would have been nice to have been advised these sauces were an additional charge. The gentleman stated "well it was on the menu", in which I replied "I didn't look at the menu"...he stated "well you had it there in front of you"...I reminded him "I knew exactly what I wanted and didn't need to look at the menu"....he replied "well everyone knows we charge for these sauces"....I said "I'm not everyone and I don't live down here, nor do I frequent this spot"....he said "well we have to pay for these things, so why should I give it to you for free"....I told him "baby, I didn't ask you to give me anything free, I just said it would have been nice to know there was a charge"....he said "well I don't know what you want me to do"...."puzzled look on my face"....I asked was he the manager...he said "Yes I am"...I said "Wow! you're being a real a**hole right now"...his response "Why? Because you have to pay for what you ate?".....I paid my tab & walked off!!! This jerk missed the whole point of what I was saying! Sir...if you're to read this "I DON'T WANT ANYTHING FREE FROM ITALIAN VILLAGE...NOT EVEN THAT DRY A** BREAD Y'ALL DO GIVE AWAY"!!! The least you can do is be a little more respectful to your customers...I started a calm conversation with you & you ran me hot with your ignorant attitude and lack of knowledge on how to speak to a customer....I SERIOUSLY DOUBT YOU'RE A MANAGER!! Italian Village is the ONLY place we go for Italian food in Corsicana. I don't understand why they say it is frozen food- I watched the owner making ravioli from scratch today when I peeked into the pass thru window. We eat there a few times a month and have never had an issue with our orders and my hubby asks for special service each time it seems. Hubby's favorites are Sausage Pizziola (have never seen this at another Italian restaurant), or the Chicken and Shrimp Murphy with extra jalapenos. Mine are the spaghetti boglaneze (sp?), lobster ravioli, and the shrimp scampi. The rolls are huge and awesome. The staff is always attentive and friendly. You want frozen? Go to Olive Garden. First time here, my husband and I were looking for an Italian restaurant as we passed through Corsicana and found this gem. The food was AMAZING! We ordered the lasagna and spaghetti with sausage and they were very generous portions. Garlic rolls (home made and to die for) and a salad were included. We upgraded to a Caesar salad for $1 more.
