    Filet of Branzino
    Robyn C.

I have been here several times an the service and food is always impeccable. I took a friend here to celebrate her birthday and we both ordered the Branzino that was on the daily specials menu. It was absolutely delicious. We also had the calamari as an appetizer and split the tiramisu for dessert. Both were incredible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is beautiful and they had live music playing that night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It wasn't too loud which was nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is definitely a place that is worth a visit if you haven't been yet.

New menu items! The menu has been updated since the last time we were here and everything looks amazing! I tried the chicken cordon bleu on a bed of risotto, my neice has shrimp and salmon (I'm getting that next time), husband got a Cajun pasta(which has a kick) and my son went with the lasagna. So good, the new items that we tried were as good as we knew it would be, we never have a bad dish here and we've never had anything but exceptional service. Love this place!

Hi Everyone! Mo and Hari's is a little neighborhood gem! This restaurant actually deserves six stars! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is warm and welcoming inside! Nice furnishings. Wonderful ambiance[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. We were greeted warmly upon entering and the service throughout lunch was spot on! The food here is definitely the highlight! We started with a focaccia bread appetizer with tomato, pesto and ricotta cheese. It was awesome! For lunch I had Tagliatelle Bolognese. Homemade pasta. Incredible sauce. It was amazing. I drove 40+ miles to eat here and I will definitely be back! If you in the area, please give Mo and Hari's a try! Jim

This place is a hidden gem in Midlothian! Everything on the menu is made from scratch, and the prices and food quality are so much better than anywhere else in town (I'm looking at you Chili's) I do not know why more people aren't in here every time I have been in. I can tell the servers here were trained very well. Complaints about high school waitstaff being less professional is not an issue at this restaurant. It is such an enjoyable experience to have this restaurant in town.

    Spinach artichoke dip with crackers

We stopped in for lunch last week and were pleasantly surprised. They do offer lunch specials which is a nice option. The staff were very friendly and very attentive. We ended up ordering a spinach artichoke dip to start and that was fantastic. I opted for a chef special which was a deep fried crepe stuffed with crab and some yummy stuff inside topped with shrimp. That was absolutely delicious and I mentioned that it needed to be added to the menu! My husband ordered the chicken parm and really liked it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall a great atmosphere, attentive staff and wonderful food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will be back.

10/10. I was visiting a friend and I really wanted some pasta so we came here and we all left very pleased. For starters, it's in a small shopping center but when you walk in you're greeted nicely and taken to your seat immediately. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is nice and music is low enough where you don't need to shout at your guests.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We didn't know what we wanted so we ordered a lot and with the pastas ranging from $13-25 you can't beat that. The calamari was fresh, birria soup (special) caught us off guard but full of flavor. The noodles are also so fresh and we truly enjoyed every dish. The lemon butter sauce in the Sphagettini Nero was amazing. The bolognese was thick and full of flavor. I will definitely be back. Brody was our server and he was attentive and cleaned up whenever he saw an empty dish! Great service and even better food.

Large calamari appetizer with delicious tear-drop peppers...yummm!

Right off HWY 287 in-between Waxahachie and Midlothian sits this gem of a place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It features beautiful decor, cool calming colors, a wide bar area and cozy tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]..not to mention, fresh made pastas and breads! Our server, Savanna, was as sweet as could be and made great recommendations. I had a glass of pinot noir and the hubby had a Peroni to start with. We then shared the fried calamari (with tear-drop peppers--to die for!), a caesar salad with fried capers and the chicken marsala plate. The thin-sliced grilled chicken breast it came with was very tender and juicy....just right...and the sauce with mushrooms over fresh spaghetti was light and delicious. We also took a dessert to go, the Tuxedo Mousse cake...my, oh my, amazing, moist and melts in your mouth. The menu has a lot of great choices...you'll be happy you tried this spot!

Crème Brulé was good. It is a little lemony but pretty good.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff were nice and friendly. Food was amazing. I've found it hard to find good food in this city but this place is my favorite by far.

    Bolognese!

From the moment we walked in, the two employees working didn't greet us or acknowledge us, and their demeanor made it feel like we were inconveniencing them just by being there. There's a big difference between basic customer service and true hospitality and this place missed both. There were also some frustrations with how orders are handled. The business charges an extra $2.50 for maybe a tablespoon of gluten-free granola, but doesn't adjust pricing if ingredients are removed or unavailable. I understand most businesses don't do this but it sometimes evens out when items are removed and unavailable. For example, I was told after ordering that they were out of coconut, which was supposed to come on my item. I was asked if that was okay, but realistically, what's the alternative in that moment? It just felt like another instance of paying for something I didn't receive. At one point, the employee preparing our order walked past us multiple times without acknowledgment to speak with her coworker, which added to the overall feeling of being ignored. A place inspired by Hawaiian culture should carry some sense of "aloha", warmth, welcome, and care. Unfortunately, that was completely missing here. We won't be returning, and that's disappointing because the concept has so much potential.

They weren't busy and so I didn't feel like I had to rush. The only issue was the girl at the register. It literally took me a minute to even see that it was under "classic subs". Like damn. My bad. Anywho. She the goes "is that what you want ?" With an attitude. Ma'am calm down. Then I told her my toppings and I asked if they could put pickles in it. When I got my sandwich it had no pickles. I had the pickle spear but I also wanted the diced pickles. I mean am I going to flip out about pickles? I mean I caaaaann since I freaking love pickles but I wasn't. The sandwich was good though. Can't complain much about that. It's the service that I had an issue with. They weren't very welcoming to begin with. The restaurant was clean though so I give them that.
