I have been here several times an the service and food is always impeccable. I took a friend here to celebrate her birthday and we both ordered the Branzino that was on the daily specials menu. It was absolutely delicious. We also had the calamari as an appetizer and split the tiramisu for dessert. Both were incredible. Well, we wanted brunch at Breakfast Bros but there was a 2 hour wait. We were hungry and this place was right next to it so we said let's try it. First off, it took about 15 minutes for our server to come over & take our order. No acknowledgment or "I'll be right with you!" She was very sweet, when she finally got to us, and very animated. She had super long braids...that she kept hitting my friend in the face with every time she turned her head, which was a lot! Hair that long should always be up. We finally got our food, about an hour after we got there. I was curious if there was a large party/ies that would have slowed the kitchen down, which would have been perfectly fine and understandable. There was a bigger table (appx 12 people)...with their leftovers in boxes and bags. Sometimes it takes a bit to catch up though, so again, I get it. Got a spinach salad that was good but there was no Gorgonzola cheese, as advertised. And I could have done the backstroke in it, there was so much dressing. I got the catfish, shrimp & grits. Saw it came with crawfish and sausage as well. Was super excited bc shrimp & grits is one of my all time favs! It came out fried (no biggie there. I like fried too) but with...MASHED POTATOES!! No grits bc it "wasn't ready". No heads up, no nothing. Grits takes about 20-30 minutes to make (Louisiana girl here so I know) so that excuse did not fly with me. My friend got the chicken parm. The most bland chicken parm I have ever put in my mouth. . The table next to us got it as well and concurred. Their food took about the same time to come out, and they had young children. Someone who, I'm assuming, was the owner came over. He was very apologetic and comped my meal. Much appreciated. The waitress raved about the bread pudding, which I love. Said it was served with gelato on top. Not only did we not get the gelato on top but it was cold!! Who serves cold bread pudding?! How this place has 4.7 rating is beyond me. This place is a hidden gem in Midlothian! Everything on the menu is made from scratch, and the prices and food quality are so much better than anywhere else in town (I'm looking at you Chili's) I do not know why more people aren't in here every time I have been in. I can tell the servers here were trained very well. Complaints about high school waitstaff being less professional is not an issue at this restaurant. We stopped in for lunch last week and were pleasantly surprised. They do offer lunch specials which is a nice option. The staff were very friendly and very attentive. We ended up ordering a spinach artichoke dip to start and that was fantastic. I opted for a chef special which was a deep fried crepe stuffed with crab and some yummy stuff inside topped with shrimp. That was absolutely delicious and I mentioned that it needed to be added to the menu! My husband ordered the chicken parm and really liked it. For starters, it's in a small shopping center but when you walk in you're greeted nicely and taken to your seat immediately. So everyone we were hungry when we got here and I forgot the pictures. I do not know the name of our waiter, but he was very good. The food was excellent, We shared an appetizer, the Veggie Flat Bread. It was very good the red sauce they used on it was also very good which I am hoping is the same red sauce they use in other dishes. I had the Chicken Piccata which to my surprise came with not only artichokes but also baby broccoli. My son had the Ala Norma which he also said was very good. The only thing that disappointed me a little was they do not have angel hair pasta, but the pasta is freshly made. the produce was fresh and the service is exceptional. I met a dear friend here for her birthday lunch. Sweet server Brody took very good care of us, and the food was excellent. My friend had the luscious lasagna. I loved the lasagna on a a previous visit, but decided to branch out and try the chicken parm: Very good, but I may go back to the outstanding lasagna next time. The focaccia was an unnecessary but tasty addition. My friend had a pomlito cocktail, which she said was very yummy-- it looked beautiful! We both took home enough for another meal. What a gem! We came for dinner before Valentine's Day to avoid the crowds. We were greeted by the hostess and were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and helpful.They only had their Valentine's menu and at first I was a little disappointed because I had my heart on trying their Cacio E Pepe. I changed my mind quickly! My Hubbard I both had the Casarecce ala Vodka. It was delicious! Homemade pasta with a spicy sauce. We also tried the Frito Misto which was shrimp, calamari, and peppers, tossed in their house batter and fried. It was cooked perfectly, not greasy at all. We also split the arugula and burrata salad. If you're familiar with Newport Beach then you know the demands to be almost perfect is definitely required in the OC. I've experienced a lot of mixology but none like Chelsea. Only disappointment was there was only 1 house made desert - a peanut butter pannacotta. Id bet it was delicious but I am allergic to peanuts so I opted for the tuxedo cake. The hostess was in training we think, because we wanted to sit by the natural light, but were first told those tables were reserved. Management stepped in and sat us where we wanted. This is real Italian food, with fresh ingredients. The chef knew how to cook the dishes- light crust on the chicken Parmesan before doused in sauce, and meatballs that were tasty, along with spaghetti. This was an amazing find and I'm so glad this place is in our backyard! Hubby and I visited on a Saturday night around 8:30 PM. There were only a few people in there but we were greeted immediately. Loved the decor and quaint ambiance. The service here was exceptional. Our server Kaleb was phenomenal as was Keith the sommelier! I'm not a big wine drinker but Keith gave me a sample of a red moscato which was tasty. We ordered the Mo & Hari margaritas and the recommended appetizer which was handmade ravioli stuffed with lump crabmeat & crawfish topped with shrimp. As a first course it was light but packed with tons of flavor. It was a little lemon heavy but I still would have slopped up the sauce with some bread if it was offered. We thanked Kaleb for the recommendation and it made us very excited about the main course. Main course we ordered the half ribs with truffle frites and salmon & shrimp with asparagus. You could taste the sweetness of the root beer glaze in the ribs but it was not overpowering. The meat fell off the bone. My salmon was beautifully charred and seasoned just right. It paired beautifully with the aioli sauce. After 2 bites, I said I'd definitely be coming back. I'm not ashamed to say that I cleaned my plate. This place is literally a 5 star restaurant passing as a casual neighborhood diner. The owner, Mo, actually came to our table and thanked us for dining.
