Stopped in here for couple of slices while in the general area. Ordered their Tuesday special with one slice pepperoni and one extra cheese. We placed our order for 4 meals each meals was delivered 1 at a time. One of the kids meal was a simple kraft mac n cheese which was dry and discussing to the point had to send back and ask for something else. Which the cashier did not want to do the second kids meal was a cheese sandwich the bread burnt so bad that it cut the roof of your mouth to eat. And after the 2 kids meals was brought out one of the adult meals was still not out once went to cashier to check on it to be told was out of Alfredo noodles and had to order something else. So we chose chicken parm... it arrive the chicken burnt and the sauce for the noodles discussing as well... we just as for Togo boxes and left. I'll never go back. Not ever. I took my neighbor to lunch and we both ordered lasagna. We received lasagna noodles in a plate of Campbell's tomato soup. I've eaten enough Campbell's Tomato Soup to know exactly what it was. For the bread we were served a stale hot dog bun wrapped in aluminum foil. We paid, left a tip and got out. Definitely one of the "must try" places in town. If not for anything else get some breaded mushrooms, fried pickles, and the grilled chicken salad. Also the pizzas are amazing. The red sauce they make homemade every day and it's so good! The move from the mall down to the old radio shack building it's been a pretty easy transition. Newest location has plenty of parking. The staff was super to my spouse and myself. We enjoyed the experience and will come back when we're trough town. We had a good pizza that was made on premises, not from dough that was trucked in. They have a drive thru also if ya don't want to come in. Save room for ice cream if you go! read more

This place is a staple in my home town! Every time I go back to visit, I stop in a couple of times and always bring food back here with me!!! The owner is from Italy and has some of the best pizza around. The best thing about the food is the steak and cheese and the steak specials... starts with a great sub roll, always fresh, and they add steak, onions, peppers, mushrooms, TONS of gooey cheese, and a great red sauce over the top and YUMMMYYY!!! For Richlands, this is undoubtedly a five star place to eat. The owner is from Naples and has been in the states since the 70's. I am from NY and the pizza here is awesome! It has a nice thin crust and is seasoned just right. The steak sandwiches are amazing. Especially the steak special. The chili cheese fries are good. You can't go wrong with the garlic cheese bread either. Whenever my wife and I come back to Richlands this is the first place she has to eat. I have no complaints. My husband and I had lunch here today 11/13/2021 and we had to wait 40 minutes for our lunch that was a couple subs and some chili cheese fries we then got a separate order for takeout and waited over an hour for it after we received and ate our lunch and had to ask where our order was which was lost and taken to the wrong place when we were clearly there waiting on it with our ticket. For a Widows Sons Rally with over 700 people attending, this town was wonderful and the people were phenomenal until we came here at 8:44pm. This is a Richlands' staple. This used to be a weekly stop and still is a must-stop when returning to the area. Favorites include cheese breadsticks with meat sauce, steak special sub, and the hot ham and cheese sub. It's one of the view remaining tenants of the Claypool Hill Mall, but hopefully, they will be there for years to come. read more

I live in Tazewell and have since 2003. Have truly enjoyed Italian Village in both Tazewell and Richlands..the one in Richlands offers bigger portions and better tasting food. Recently the one in Tazewell offered "Any Pizza Any Way $10"..I call and ask several times "any" pizza, the young girl says "yes". So I place an order for a 'Chicken Bacon Ranch' and an 'Alfredo'..I was then informed the "chicken" would cost extra and they were out of Alfredo sauce...I said, "well alright..I'll take the Taco Pizza", then once more asked if these were part of the ANY PIZZA ANY WAY $10 a piece pizzas", she informed me "Yes, it would be about 45 minutes" I go to get my pizzas, it rings up they run my debit card and I go to sign and it's a little over $35 dollars for 2 pizzas...I said.. "hold on..these are the APAW Pizzas for $10" he said no, "that only goes from basic to the Super Supreme, not the specialty pizzas" I then said, "well the little girl on the phone told me otherwise.".....For what I paid for 2 pizzas I could have fed my children and myself 3-4 meals this week. I was furious as he would not refund the charges and keep the overpriced BURNT crusted pizza. I refuse to ever eat at Italian Village of Tazewell again. Came in to order food and the woman who took our order kept sneezing into her shirt and coughing into her hands. Never saw her go wash her hands and she kept handling everything and being around food. She handled our plates and cups which I would not use. You could tell she was sick by the way she sounded. Like the last reviewer, I grew up in the area and ate plenty of Italian Village pizza over the years, but even after moving to the West Coast, I've never found pizza as good as this. We have to make a trip to Italian Village whenever we're in the area. I can't imagine that there's anyone near Richlands who has never been to Italian Village, but if you happen to be in the area, you must eat here. Used to be really good but slowly has gone downhill. The calzones are dry and mostly bread now and meat sauce is so runny and watery now. And most of the women who work there have horrible attitudes. I tried to place a call in curbside order and the woman wouldn't even wait for me to give my credit card info and was very rude to me clicking over to another customer. Go to Giovanni's instead or make the short trip to either the one in Tazewell or Gino's food truck in Vansant for better quality and a lot better friendlier service. read more

I have been eating here since well before 1990. I am not sure of the exact year, but that's not important. I always make it a point to stop in when I get a chance to visit family. The food is always good, however this time it seemed they may have made some changes it was still good don't get me wrong just seemed different then I remember. Great place to eat! I love their food, but they are a bit pricey, I ordered two subs and two drinks and it came to 20 or a little over but you can't get this food anywhere else so it was worth it. Very busy though no matter the hour lol It really helped them that they added more seating, though I'm not too keen on eating over there as I think it's more private on the other side. read more

Everything about this place is horrible. There is absolutely no customer service what so ever. It seems like every single employees hate their job. The food portion is very small considering their high prices. They have a large cheese pizza for almost 15 dollars that's definitely not worth it. I payed 10 dollars for a stromboli that was outrageously small, greasy and very doughy. The fries were either old or left in the fryer for way to long and also very greasy. I did not sample the 5 star cuisine at the pizza by the slice place in the mall next to the Kmart. I went there because Yelp said there was beer and wine, uh uh! Out of towners need to know that this is still a dry town. Granted there may have been some fine rosso in those styrofoam cups, but I doubt it. The Subway at the mall entrance may be a better option.
