If you want your kid to get from good to best, Coach Franco can make it happen. My son is 11, loves soccer and is a great student. But I didn't see his game improve much in last 1.5 years. His first touch and sense of game was already good. How do u get better from here? Coach Franco was spot on in recognizing places he can improve and integrated skills like quick thinking, improving first touch, handling ball under pressure etc. and many details that often get ignored, were now integrated into the drills he customized for my son. I did five sessions with Coach Franco while visiting family in EDH this summer.  He asked me to do different drills to see where I'm at during the first session and identified weaknesses I need to work on. As a small town club in Placerville (Sierra Gold SC), many of our youth head down the hill for greater opportunities, to be coached at a higher level. We started a 2014 comp team, with four 2015 players and looked to find a way to bring some of this great coaching back to our club. Through a mutual friend, we found Franco Accettura as the top recommended trainer for our boys. Coach Franco did not dissapoint. Our team formed for the first time in late May and began training July 1. Our first tournament we lost a combined 30-0 in three games, against a Bronze and two silver teams in early August. Coach Franco started training with us around the same time and helped lead us into our regular season. His communication skills with the boys were beyond my expectations and his ability to both read each boy, and understand how to connect with the individual was fantasic. His vast experience with soccer and knowledge of the game translates so effiecnetly and eloquently to the kids. In addition,he strives to build the love of the game and have fun, while pushing the kids to improve. The fundamentals he expressed in such a short time period translated quickly to the game. We had a total of 7 sessions with Coach Franco, which carried us through most of the regular season and two additional tournaments. Other than a 5-1 loss to a Silver level team, our tea did not los another game by more than 2 goals. Playing in the U11 Bronze, Div 6 East 2, Our SGSC Strikers finished in fourth place with a record of 5-1-3, only 3 points from first. Our boys proudly realized they gave up the least amount of goals of all 10 teams in league, had the least amount of losses, beat the first and second place teams, and were one of only 3 teams in the division to not play last fall and spring. Coach Franco is awesome!! We're new into the sport and we were lucky enough to learn about Coach Franco through the Sacramento Republic FC youth camp. Our experience has been with our team, and on an Individual basis. We've had a couple experiences with different personal coaches, and so far my Son has enjoyed his time with Coach Franco most. I met Coach Franco after doing a couple of trainings that just didn't feel right for my son. He is a teenager (yay lol), so he's very particular with who he trains with and what he wants/expects from his trainer. We met Franco about 3.5 years ago while living in Serrano. He started coaching at a local park, we loved his positivity and enthusiasm for the sport so we signed our son up for his practices. Coach Franco is the real deal. My son started training with him last year and the soccer development in him has been tremendous. Not only did he improve skill, agility, game sense but also instilled discipline, passion and confidence.
