I strongly recommend Hard90 for any families looking for a positive program that will develop your player. After back to back Little League seasons with little to no development, we knew we had to try something new. Our 2 boys worked with a few hitting coaches at local facilities, but other than additional reps, it wasn't anything special. For over a year, we heard great things about Hard90 & finally decided to give it a try and signed both of our boys up for a 3 month membership. From the start, it was immediately clear that their professional coaches and developmental approach was above the rest. Within weeks we saw growth and their confidence soared...so much so, that they both asked to try out for the their team! This year, the boys both set a goal to take full advantage of all that Hard 90 offers: Team practices, 1:1 coaching, Power Classes, etc. After 1 year with Hard90, it is clear that it has been transformative to their overall happiness, self esteem, love for the game, mechanics, and overall development. All of the Hard90 coaches are hands down- exceptional. Looking back, my only regret is we waited so long! Thank you Hard90! We are forever grateful and so happy that our boys are part of the Hard90 Family!

The worst baseball academy in Northern California…read more OUTDOOR PRACTICES: there are over 40 kids and only 3 inexperience coaches. No professional structure that could lead and benefit athletes. INDOOR PRACTICES: Only one coach for a roster of 14-15 kids. No clear guidance or structure. COACHES: are very young who do not have children of their own which is directly proportion to lack of their knowledge in child/youth psychology and behaviors. Poor leadership and unfairness during games resulted in destroying athletes' motivations and drive in order to succeed on their goals. The lack of education, knowledge, leadership and kids/youth psychology not only makes this academy one of the worst academies in the region but very harmful to youths both psychologically and emotionally. There are NO ADDED VALUES in enrolling kids & youths in HARD 90 BASEBALL ACADEMY.

Since joining Alpha, we've seen measurable and meaningful growth in his development as a baseball player--most notably in his hitting consistency, approach at the plate, and overall confidence, as well as clear improvements in his fielding fundamentals and baseball IQ. What makes this even more impressive is that Niam trained at several other baseball facilities in the area prior to Alpha Athletics. While those experiences were fine, the results simply did not compare. The difference at Alpha is intentional coaching, individualized attention, and a genuine commitment to each athlete's growth. The coaching staff is exceptional--knowledgeable, patient, and deeply invested in the kids. They know how to challenge young athletes while still building them up. Bryan Schmidt, the owner, is especially hands-on and sets the tone for the entire program. His passion for the game and for developing young people is evident in everything Alpha Athletics does. What truly sets Alpha apart is that they are not just developing better baseball players--they are helping raise young men. There is a strong emphasis on character, accountability, discipline, and being gentlemen and scholars in school, which we deeply value as parents. We are incredibly grateful for the impact Alpha Athletics has had on Niam, both on and off the field, and would highly recommend this program to any family looking for elite baseball development in a positive, values-driven environment.

When we were moving to El Dorado Hills, I needed to find a training facility for Vincent, who is 9 years old. Since he's not a seasonal player, it was extremely important to find a place we could trust for year-round development--one that truly offers the full package: pitching, hitting, infield, catching, and strength & conditioning, with the flexibility to schedule classes around our busy lives. We visited several facilities and allowed Vincent to try out trial classes, including one at Alpha. This was a decision that needed to feel right--not only for me as a parent but for Vincent as well. Choosing Alpha has been one of the best decisions we've made for Vincent's development. He started training there in April 2025, spending 2-3 hours a day, six days a week at the facility throughout spring and summer--all while continuing to play baseball and attend school in Carmichael, CA. The growth we've seen in his confidence, work ethic, and mindset has been just as remarkable as his on-field improvement. I highly recommend Alpha. The coaches are exceptional and genuinely care about these kids and their growth, both on and off the field. We hope Alpha will continue to be Vincent's home facility for many years to come.

Concern About Staff Harassment…read more I attended a community event recently and had an uncomfortable experience with one of your staff photographers. Despite clearly blocking him and expressing that I did not want my photo taken, he continued taking pictures of me and singling me out to take my picture and record me. When I reported this to venue staff, the response was essentially that he was "just doing his job," which made me feel that my boundaries and safety were not being taken seriously. The staff did not address his behavior and requested a private meeting with me to question me. I'm sharing this so the venue is aware that attendees' comfort and consent must come first. Staff should be trained and reminded to respect boundaries and ensure everyone feels safe. I hope the venue will address this behavior and prevent similar incidents in the future.
