Tony and Edison worked hard all day on a ethernet network and surround sound installation that turned out to be longer and more complicated than originally thought, but only charged the agreed estimate. They did a really great job, using their expertise and skill to figure out the best way to run the wiring with only 3 drywall holes for fishing wire when I was expecting the job to require 7. Afterwards, they even did a first layer patch on the three holes. There was not much space behind the drywall making the job pretty hard, but they accommodated all my requests and gave great advice when I was suggesting ideas that were obviously bad in retrospect. Other electricians I had contacted said they would not terminate the ethernet cables, not do any patching of the drywall at all, or tried to sell us on running the cables outside the house just because it would be easier for them. iTech Electric were the most professional, the smartest and most reliable out of any I talked to, while still being in line on pricing with other providers. This is the second time I have used this company and will continue to do so based on their professionalism, quality of service and timeliness. Tony came in to give me a quote and clearly communicated to me a couple of options for installing wiring, a lighting fixture and outdoor outlet in my porch area that had no electrical. Tony came out right away be because half of my power was going out sporadically. Because I did mess with the fuse box, he was unable to tell what the issue was 100% so after resetting the meter and putting the power back on, he said to call him right away when it happened again and not touch a thing. He didn't charge me at all for the visit! Next day, it happened again and I called. Tony sent Edison to my home, who was very professional and found the issue in the kitchen outlet and fixed it. Our electricity got funky on a Saturday morning. I called the guy who had allegedly fixed the same problem several months ago. He never returned my calls. So i checked Yelps, and Tony sounded great. After having water issues with the plumbing connection to my washer, and two plumbers out to deal with this, the wash machine wouldn't turn on and the plumber thought it was an electrical issue. I contacted iTech Electric and within an hour after hanging up the phone, an electrician was at my home. Talk about great service!! The electrician (I didn't get his name and should have) listened to my story then proceeded to rule out what the problem was. He checked the electrical panel and found the switch to the wash machine was off. He turned on the switch and the wash machine turned on. I was grateful for his expertise, that he listened before tearing through things, and all at no charge. The next electrical issue I have will definitely be handled by iTech. These guys are great! They were easy to set up an appointment time with, easy to communicate with and honored the original quoted price. They came exactly on time, and we're really respectful of my house by putting on shoe protective covers, and using drop cloths and even moved the heavy dining room table. They were so helpful and more than willing to hold up the light fixtures so I could see options, while offering advice on how they might look best (placement, chain length, etc.) They worked quickly, cleanly, and efficiently, and were really pleasant. My husband and I were really disappointed to find out after the inspection of our future home that it would need to be completely rewired for safety purpose. We needed trustworthy electricians to get it done fast, well, and for a reasonable price so we could enjoy our first home as homeowners with peace of mind. We got three different quotes from Gen3 with different tiers of service and cost. I sent those quotes to multiple electricians to see if they could do better on price. iTech got back to me immediately. They said they would only do the top tier job so they could bring us up to code AND said they'd do it for 5k less than the Gen3 guys!
