The individual I spoke with was not compassionate about our situation, although it's a lose-lose, a little kindness and compassion would have been very appreciated. I was met with judgmental remarks from her, as if I don't already understand the situation. "I'm well aware", was my response to her rebuttals and out-of-line comments about our situation. Do better as a human, Cynthia. Do better as a person who needs to be trained and educated on proper phone etiquette, and again compassion, which was warranted, but not received, unfortunately. She ended up hanging up on me in a desperate attempt to get rid of me. Hanging up on a potential client is also not proper phone etiquette. I never once became aggressive or rude, I just simply asked her to remain focused at the task on hand and I didn't need her comments about OUR situation, or her very out-of-line comments. I truly hope the call was recorded and I hope management takes this review seriously because this should never happen to another person seeking help from their business! Now they resort to Taking advantage of all little things they can to not pay your claim. If you get them be careful because the agents aren't there to help you figure anything out just cash out your money. They emphasize reading the fine print because they aren't obligated to inform you of anything according to supervisor Adriana. Also according to Adriana the supervisor If you call to renew your policy and they ask you if your address is the one listed and you say no! And give them the right address technically you didn't call to update your address because that's not what you initially called for so they can't help you with that!!! You have to renew the policy then call again and tell them to change your address in two different phone calls!!! I tried changing my address various times over the phone but apparently no records exist because I didn't call specifically for that ! Make sure there's a paper trail and keep every single document you sign because they're counting on you not having anything. They fail to send you any information about your policy or claim unless it's for a late fee. So put on your calendar when your policy expires because they for sure aren't gonna let you know to renew it so they can charge you the re activation fee. You can go here, just be careful they might not end up paying your claim. It's giving calculated fraudulent company. (ALLEGEDLY) stay safe out there!! And be sure to know they're NOT here to help you and you better collect all that evidence or you're fucked and that's all on you and not their problem! their recorded phone calls apparently mean nothing so leave a paper trail always !!! it's inconvenient to have to go to the store for everything but that's what's needed here !!!! apparently because their agents don't know any protocols or the agent that supposedly changed my address would've had me sign a document. If only I would've known !! But again that's not their problem!!! :)
