However, over the last two years, my rates started climbing significantly, hitting $170/month for a car I fully own. ​When I called Kemper to cancel because I was joining my husband's policy, the agent was rude and gave me incorrect information about how to close my account. Luckily, I followed my gut and called Adriana's. I spoke with Xavier, who was amazing. He clarified that I actually needed to sign specific paperwork to cancel--information Kemper failed to give me. I'd always seen it but had never been inside or used their services, despite being a AAA member for 18+ years. I was greeted right away by a friendly gentleman at the entrance. He gave me the proper paperwork and told me how to fill it out. Within minutes of completing the paperwork, I was called back by Michelle to complete my transaction. She was very friendly and jovial as well. She completed my transaction quickly and efficiently and even offered to add my daughter to my account for free for a year.
