I received a reply within a matter of minutes. It was suggested I come in so that he could take a look at my iPhone because it was either a software problem or an internal problem. I took my iPhone in and was told that it was a software problem. As it was about an hour close to closing time they were busy but able to fit me in. It took about 40 minutes to have my phone repaired and the cost for repair was affordable. I've had my phone for about 7 months now and it's always had issues so here's my honest review. Took my iPhone X in cause it got water damaged somehow. Anyways I needed a new screen so they sold me their screen which looks fine but they didn't install it correctly. My calibration is terrible. It's so bad I don't even like typing anymore. To top that off the screen won't even register half the time and I have to lock the phone and unlock it for it to register a crappy registration. On top of that I've been logged out of countless apps, sold stocks without permission and lost money. This shops replacement iPhone screens suck ass water. They were nice tho and the shop was clean. I found this spot on Yelp. I finally had time to get my iPhone 7 fixed. It stopped working on me several weeks ago. It was stuck on the restore screen. This was my first time at a place like this, but you let the employee know what the problem is. They will let you know what they think the problem is and will let you know how much you might be paying. The employee said they IPhone restore would cost $15 and should be done in 20 minutes. They won't charge you until your device is fixed. I waited and she tried it twice to restore through iTunes but it didn't work. It was a different problem so I had to leave my phone with the technicians. She said they'll call us before they try anything. I left my phone around 10:30am and when 4pm hit, I still have not received a phone call. I called them and the guy who answered the phone had trouble finding where my iPhone was. He finally found it and said that "it didn't look good and needed more time" and that he will "give me a call when they figure it out". They closed at 7pm and I did not get a phone call. They gave me a call the next day in the afternoon and said it could be the logic board that needed to be replaced. Said it costed $150 not including tax. Told them to fix it and they called me back early evening and said that my phone has been fixed. The place gets packed with customers coming and going. There's only one person in front which is why it takes a long time to get to you. I took out a star because of this reason and also they take a long time to get back to you. They have a small lot in front and there's parking on the street as well. I saw that they had a sign that read that if you don't pick up your device within 30 days, your device is their property now. read more

I came in to this store six months ago and met with an Asian woman who did the intake. Didn't look friendly, didn't sound friendly. She told me I needed to unlock my phone. She sat there waiting as though she expected me to say my passcode out loud, when there was a line of customers waiting behind me. Red flag #1. I proceeded to punch in my passcode instead. She then went into my display settings and switched Dark Mode to Light. Fair enough. But then she began pressing her finger hard into my phone before proclaiming that my LCD also had to be fixed - an additional $10 charge. The crack on my phone didn't penetrate that deeply. When I told her that I would pass on the LCD "repair," she said rudely and in disappointed fashion: "It's only $10 more." Since when was it ever her business to assess how much I can or can't shell out? Red flag #2. I responded, more firmly this time, that I didn't think the LCD needed any kind of repair. At which point she sauntered away to consult the technician(s) in the back. She came back out and reluctantly agreed with my assessment, that only the screen needed to be replaced. She then asked me for my phone number and lock screen passcode (again), pen in hand ready to write down my info. Again, she expected me to disclose my information out loud, with strangers huddled behind me. Red flag #3. She also said it would take a few hours. At this point, I definitely didn't feel comfortable leaving my phone with her. Who knows what she would have done with my passcode and subsequent access to my phone. I told her, "You know what, I've changed my mind. Have a good day." (FYI, I ended up going to a repair shop in Monrovia, and the guy there (Jason) replaced my phone screen in 30 minutes, without asking for my number or screen lock passcode.) If upper management is reading this, I highly recommend that this woman be required to take a remedial course in customer service etiquette. Her behavior was repulsive. read more

Dropped my laptop and the screen wouldn't come on. Went to Best Buy Geek Squad and the quoted me $700 bucks to fix it. I called the Lenovo because my laptop was still under warranty and they said it would be $70 bucks to fix AND I'd have to ship it which could take 7 to 10 weeks. I reached out to ITech Xpress for a quote, the owner said stop by so he could see it. My boyfriend dropped of the laptop and the owner called in back SAME DAY (within hours) and said he fixed it. Okay I'm going to be honest, but before going to these guys I went to another computer repair shop called LA Tech because that company somehow had a 5 star rating. My experience was so horrible with LA Tech (see my review on their page) that I ended up finding this repair shop for my laptop. Long story short, LA tech kept my deposit hostage for a month and a half by not providing updates on a fan part they supposedly ordered from China that got stuck in customs. I eventually got the refund but the owner at LA tech never proactively updated me even though I asked for them to do so, were really rude over the phone when I contacted the owner, and they put these hard to remove stickers on my computer and power adapter which actually damaged my laptop. Now, itech Express did completely the opposite of what I experienced at LA Tech. They kept me updated, ordered the OEM fan part and finished the job in 2 days vs 6 weeks without adding any stickers to my laptop. Notice I only say laptop since they didn't even need my power adapter to do the job unlike LA Tech. These guys are the real professionals who stand by their work and as a bonus their prices are reasonable. And yes my computer is running nice and smooth now with the replaced fan and added bonus of thermal paste they offered to reapply on my laptop parts for free. I will go back and recommend itech Xpress for any hardware repair needs. Also I noticed itech Xpress had a lot of customers with repairs for their phones and laptops so that tells you something vs for LA tech I never saw one other customer each time I went to their shop. If you're a Tesla owner, you know how critical it is for your Tesla app to function. Before coming to Itech Xpress for my cracked iPad Air 4 screen I had actually gone to Best Buy because at Best Buy I'm a total tech member which costs around $200 a year, at Best Buy they said to repair just the screen would cost $369, $419 for non total tech members, and I could not believe the price. The reason for that price is because they don't fix the screen on your device, they keep the device and send you a new one when the price of a brand new iPad Air 4 at Costco costs $449 so they basically just force you to buy a new one so I was pissed. I found Itech Xpress and decided to give them a try since I had never done a 3rd party repair and I could not be any happier with my experience. They were very professional and you can tell that they really know their stuff, very quick to receive your device as opposed to geek squad, and my device was ready within an hour on a busy day for them!
