He gave me a quote of $79. over the phone to fix my iPhone. I had had the exact same problem with my iPad and I had paid $120 to get that fixed and it only took the technician less than one minute to fix it. But they wouldn't lower the price, even though it was such a simple fix. When I got to iTech, he asked if I had a little time so he could work on the phone so I waited for a few minutes. He told me that he fixed it, but wasn't sure for how long it would work but he only charged me $20. He said if it failed to keep the charge to come back and he would credit me the $20 and charge me the $79. I've had my phone for over three months now and it has never failed to charge. Then they change another one, same thing happened and could not turn on at all after turning off and restart. This place started out great. I brought in my wife's laptop for a new battery on a Thursday. I also asked him to update to windows11. The man that gave me the estimate of $254.15 seemed friendly and professional though based on Google search the price seemed a little high. Nevertheless based on the excellent reviews I decided to go ahead with it. He said it will be ready in a couple of days. On Monday I get a call that it is ready. I pick it up the same day and it works great (so far so good). Then we notice it won't charge past 90%. So I took it back the very next day. That's when everything went downhill. Three days went by (no call) I had to call they said still working on it. Two days later I had to call again. Now they said they will order a new battery and will be ready in about a week. A week later I called now they say another two days. Two days later I called and they seemed to do me a favor by having it ready but didn't have time to test the new battery. The woman who handed me the laptop added " if I still had trouble with the battery it's my laptop". So pretty much don't bother us again. I picked it up and decided no matter what I'm never coming back. As it turns out everything is working and laptop now charges to 100%. In my opinion they are capable of good work but when things go wrong or not as expected and you've already paid you get brushed aside with a lack of consideration and communication. Based on the overwhelming positive reviews they certainly won't miss me. There are so many computer repair businesses out there eventually I'll find a good honest reliable one. read more

I was really hoping this place would work out because of the high rating but for me it did not. I brought in my macbook laptop that was extremely slow to load upon start up. They told me they would wipe it all and then put it back on laptop. I said sure. Then when I came for pick up, same exactly problem! It's like they did not even test it out before handing it over to me. So they take it back again and I have to come back later in the week. The part that really get me angry is that I during the inspection they told me I needed a new battery. I said yes hoping that my battery life would be even better. But now I am having battery issues! All of this never happened with my old battery. Only the "new" one they gave me. My laptop will not even stay on if I do not have it constantly plugged in. I got these services March 22 and the battery started acting up May- only 2 months later. A problem I never had! Extremely upset that I went in for a fixing and came out with a new problem. Came in the next day and brought the phone in. Since no option for 4.5 stars I'll leave a 5 star review. - Only complaint I had was that he said the phone would take 30 minutes when it actually took 50 minutes. Sam helped me and was very professional. A gentleman in front of me brought in an older iPad to get its screen replaced and since the screen was $99 Sam helped him with replacing the iPad for a better one at around $200-$250. My phone charging port was being temperamental. I requested it to be cleaned but was advised to just replace the whole port. Clearly my phone could charge but the connection points were dirty and cleaning would be the first step of troubleshooting the issue. So I looked out here on yelp and found ITech Xpress. I figured things can't be much worse than the Geek Squad experience. I'm really glad I found ITech as their service is amazing, no beating around then bush, no upselling, just great only what you need service. I brought my laptop in because it wouldn't charge even with the AC adapter plugged in, they diagnosed it right away, unlike Geek Squad who told me that they had to ship my laptop to their base of operations to be able to see what's wrong with it. We brought in my daughter's phone for a new protective glass screen and they discovered that the main screen was popped out and then discovered that the battery had dangerously ballooned forcing the screen out. They replaced both quickly and now the phone works properly and her battery lasts like it should. Stopped by recently to get our 14 year olds iPhone XR glass fixed/ replaced- Quick service and met the promised 1 1/2 hour window. Good work and we will be back as we have several times. They are conveniently located on Arrow Highway near Grand Avenue - not far from either the 10 or 210 freeways. The parking lot has enough spots to where I've never had parking issues - plus there is street parking. Service has always been great. My experience with this company was good. Only repair I had was to replace the glass covering one of my camera lenses on my iPhone 12 max. Price was reasonable versus the Apple Store, which probably would've cost me a fortune as they would have to replace the entire glass back. Amongst their competing businesses, their pricing was around the same, there were some other competitors, which were much higher in cost, but I don't know how the lens would have differed. Something I would've liked for them to communicate was that the glass would look different from the factory lens cover. The person at the counter tried to upsell me, saying that the camera lens was damaged since there was some black dots when you zoomed in and it actually used that lens. I just asked them to clean it out and while it's not 100% perfect, it's good enough considering I rarely ever zoom more than 2.5x into anything. Otherwise, they had finished the repair... I'd say in about 20 minutes. I just walked in and did not have a scheduled time. Thankfully, my job was simple for them. They've got a lot of different phone cases and it looks like they also do laptop repairs so definitely good to know. read more
