Today was my second time playing pickleball here. You have to make a reservation for the time slot. The facility is well kept. They have a restroom inside the store. They also sell different pickleball accessories such as balls, paddles, etc. They have different brands so I was able to see the ones that I have been looking at. They have cats roaming around. The place offers lessons to learn pickleball. They have a lot of courts and sometimes they do get filled easily. Enjoy and have fun playing pickleball! read more

Living in Louisiana, I rarely get to see so many pickleball courts like the ones at iPickle (formerly known as iTennis)! There are over 30 courts available for you to play on. You can rent a court on some days, but we went on a Friday night where it was open play and you had to line up your paddle in the queue. Friday night was "Social Night" which means it was $15 to enter but you can stay anytime until closing time (2 am). You can bring your own chairs, food, and they even have food there for you to purchase. There were also fire pits and pickleball merchandise for you to purchase. Staff were friendly as well. If I had kept my daughter in iTennis, she would have never played tennis again. These coaches are hostile, condescending and rude. Do NOT put your kids in these classes. My daughter is now a very successful player snd enjoying the game. I am just grateful I got her out of this toxic group of mean angry grumpy wannabe coaches. Absolutely horrible people read more

I haven't been to WNTC in a long time, but today I played a USTA league match there. The courts are faster now than the last time I played there, so if you like fast courts, then play here. The courts seemed fairly busy for a Sunday afternoon. There's either 14 or 16 lighted tennis courts at this facility. It's in a good location, but the courts need a little more TLC. On Monday nights, they have a singles round robin and there's usually some good competition. Cheers! read more

The tennis court is good, but I met a very poor staff. Yesterday we went to watch a friend's game, and there were a few chairs outside the court. My daughter and I made one separately. After a while, a young girl came, who seemed to manage the game. She was very angry and asked us to return the chair to her, saying that it was for the rest of the team members. Then she took the chair into the court. Then she came back and continued to be very rude to emphasize that these were for the players. It's as if we were deliberately sitting on the player's chairs. There was no sign or label on the chair to indicate that it was for the players. Very bad experience! read more

I came in yesterday and asked for Solico Hyper G 16 gauge at 52lbs, and what I got was an inconsistent string job that felt like 65lbs. The guy who strung for me was around 20 years old, spoke English with a slight slang or accent, Asian, about 5'4". I'll update my review tomorrow 8am if any one of you guys can take a step forwards and want to check my racket tension. read more

After a 12 year hiatus from playing tennis, I joined this club after befriending a woman who has been a longtime member. For the $50 per month membership, the place cannot be beat. There are at least 16-20 courts, all kept in excellent condition. The members, who I have mostly met after joining the tri-level league, have all be very friendly and helpful. For anyone looking to join a competitive league, I cannot give a better recommendation; after all, I drive from Claremont, which isn't exactly around the corner. Been playing here off and on for the past three years and just recently signed up to be a member. Its 50 dollars a month with a initiation fee of 150 (negotiate credit, private lesson..ect) But absolute love playing in there round robin that they have every Monday (10 fee for members/15 non-members) You play all different types of styles and levels. I used to be a member here a long time ago. Recently, I visited the club. It seems like the club has some new life to it. Currently, it's under the management of Andy, who is a great guy and great player. I also had the chance to watch their juniors play and they were very impressive. As a past member of the Rusty Miller Tennis Academy, I was jealous that I didn't have the WNTC as a junior. At night, it seems that this place fills their 16 courts up pretty quickly so reservations are needed. Although, I stopped by on a Friday night and it didn't seem like it was at capacity. read more

I go to UCLA, but I always find time to go to Whittier Narrows Tennis Center because the coaches are awesome, the courts are really nice, and I just have a really good time playing tennis here. Coach John has really helped me improve all aspects of my game and I really appreciate his help :) My father also only hits with Coach Andy so it's obvious he's amazing too! The employees here are really nice and friendly too and are very efficient. If you ever want to play tennis, definitely go here! read more

I really like playing here. My co-worker and i just discovered this place a few weeks ago and we head over a few times a week after work. They have a lot of courts, so there is always an open court, even though we are not members. Its also nice cause after work, the sun is shining onto the court from the side so its not in our eyes when serving. The office staff is very nice and the courts are all clean and in good shape. The location is kind of neat cause its nestled in like a park area so its generally quiet surroundings. Generally other players we've met there have been very nice. And there are always lessons going on, so its neat to watch the really good younger players rally after our match. We are just very happy with this place. Its close, convenient, easy. read more

This is a very decent club for tennis. You often see youngster personally coach here and one of the only place in the a 10 miles radius where their decent female players. Most of the people here...have developed ground strokes or master their "own way" of hitting a tennis ball.. and could keep up with a medium pace rally with average topspin. I heard the membership is 50 bucks a month and their league held there. I was only brought here once by friend who's a member. Court was well conditioned and there's tennis shop for racket emergencies with changing rooms, and ICE CREAM(no joke, they sell ice cream bars too). You cant really find any decent youngster (16 to 22 year olds) but the old dude are mostly 3.5 to 4.0 NTRP... read more

Great place, offers a variety of rackets to buy, depending on your play style. There's a lot of courts so it usually isn't busy from what I've seen and they even offer ball machines if you have no one to play with. If you buy a racket they even give you free strings which is pretty nice and the price to string the racket isn't much either. Overall, great place to play at! read more

The weekend round robins are great. You don't have to have someone to play with, you just show up and play with others of comparable skill. It's a good way to find ways to raise your game by playing people better than you, and also have the satisfaction of winning some of the time. read more

Use to play here tears ago, one hip surgery and a nice recovery later, I'm starting to play again albeit not at the same level. Went back to check out this place and while its under new management, the experience was still great. Nice staff, friendly knowledgable and the round robin tournaments still exist. Fantastic tennis club run by world class pros. The lighted courts are in great condition and the locker room is clean. The rates are reasonable and you can also rent a ball machine to hone your tennis skills! If you love tennis, you should give this facility a try. read more
