They sent an email cancelling my appointment for that morning and stated that I would get no prescription until I got a blood test done. At my appt the month before the clinician mentioned that they wanted bloodwork but told me I could bring in copies of my latest tests from another Dr., so I was unaware of this apparently crisis situation. This was a Friday and was planning a party that night and then there is the weekend, so I promised to get the blood test done early that next week. And I asked if I could pick up the shots the following day because their location is far from me but I was going to be in that vicinity on another matter because I really did not want to disrupt my continuous 3 year usage with them. When I argued with them they refused to accommodate three days delay and cancelled my membership. They said I had to have the blood work every 6 months and I was delinquent. Lots of clients don't even go in but have it mailed to their home. They just left me hanging high and dry for a ridiculous reason since I have done everything they asked of me for 3 years now. I was unaware they needed this test yesterday but offered to get it done in a few days when lab is open. I am shocked! What kind of management is running this operation? Is business so good that they want to exile a great client? Oh, and the reason that they need these tests is to see where our deficiencies are so they can sell you up on tons of supplements that they make loads of money off of and they come monthly, It's a real pain to get out of that. I was told that management would be contacting me but that has never happened. Not very professional! I used the skincare opportunities next door too! I had an appointment on the 7th and my medication should have been processed and mailed that day. Someone made a mistake and it was mailed two days later. I did not receive my medication which totally disrupted my routine for taking it on Sunday and Thursday. The excuse was that everyone makes mistakes. This is supposed to be to be a medical office and mistakes of this nature are very problematic. They did however immediately charge my credit card for the medication but failed to process the order. Their attitude was troubling and unfortunate and they did not offer to advice on how I could effectively get back to the routine I had. I went to IThrive 8 months ago and was very pleased. In the beginning. At month 6 and 7 I faithfully paid the $299 per month with no weight loss results. I decided to not continue with the program. Someone from the office called me to ask me if I wanted to schedule an appointment. I told them that my results were not consistent with what I have been losing in the past. They told me that they had switched to another supplier for a few months but recently returned to their original supplier, however, no one told me. They offered to give me a 20% discount to come back, which is a joke! I called Ithrive and inquired why they had charged me on March 4th and not gave waited for the requested pick up day of March 9th. I started the semi glutide and stayed with it for 3 month with zero results. They kept telling me to give it time. I had maxed the dose by month 3. I called and canceled my appt and told them it wasn't working for me. The next week after my canceled appt I received a charge on my credit card for $299. I called right away and they told me they would take care of it. 5 days pass and still no refund on the charge. I drove to the location to have them refund me in person. So sorry for the misunderstanding blah blah blah.. the next day the refund disappears and the charge is still on my card. Now I have to go back to deal with this again in person. When I questioned it I was told they would work with me on this and follow up with me. They never did. My last message was about continuing beyond 3 months but they never responded to that email either. Overall communication was poor and could have been much better. I got PRP (platelet rich plasma) done in my knee January 2024. I've done PRP at other places before and it has worked very well for my knee and the meniscus issues I have.
