Barbara Beam helped to plan an important "Girl's Trip" for me and my friends to the Dominican Republic. We had such a wonderful and memorable time there! It took a long time to plan as we were quite indecisive at first. Barbara was patient and there for us every step of the way to make recommendations. She listened and asked questions to help narrow down exactly what we did (and did not) want. She nailed it! The entire trip (and planning) was seamless with her help. Throughout the planning, we never felt rushed and had all questions answered even up until the week we were leaving. We didn't have to really "think" too much on this holiday. All documents were given to us ahead of time, transportation was booked, and we felt very comfortable that we would be able to reach her during our trip at any point if needed. I will absolutely book trips with Barbara at Travel Experts of Cary again. Can't wait!

I have been extremely pleased with services I received at this location on multiple times. I've had a full synthetic oil change and they handled a few major concerns I had and my vehicle is running smoother. Owning a vehicle comes with regular maintenance and I'm glad I can trust AAA with my vehicle needs in these last couple months. They alleviated a lot of stress. I've previously been a dedicated Toyota or Firestone customer. I've had AAA membership for over a decade and I wish I had given them a try sooner.

The open desk arrangement for service managers (and travel agents) is accessible and comfortable. The comprehensive safety check sounds good in theory but, in substance, not thorough- they missed noting my cabin air filter was removed. The video with the report is non-specific and mostly for "show." However, they did catch my need to replace spark plugs, which was needed per spec. The service manager, Mike, handles customers well and I appreciate the good value he gave me honoring a AAA coupon; no games. I often do this kind of routine work myself, but this was a cost effective and comfortable alternative to "DIY" in 85 degree heat.

I'd feel terrible. Something in my gut told me that it was you I spoke with though - So, I went back and pulled up my phone records for last month and Yes, Mam - we spoke.     This was the worst mistake of my life hiring this heartless woman to book a honeymoon. From the…read morevery start she was not very helpful or descriptive about my options. Don't expect for her to get back with you until she is ready,(unless your pockets are fat) and then she will rush you off the phone. I was excited about our honeymoon and put down a deposit. My fiance lost her job and was out of work for three months. This put a lot of financial burden on us. We decided to book our own room at a local beach and cancel. She wanted us to stay with her and work something out, but I didn't feel helping us was on her mind and felt pressed as she ask me questions like are you going with another agent, ummmm no we have to pay for our own wedding and now we have hardly any funds. I just wanted a refund minus any penalty. Then she sends me an invoice so she could cancel our reservation. I already gave a hefty deposit its beyond me why she can't take out penalty from deposit. None of these policies were gone over or explianed when I booked this in the beginning. Then she says on the phone "I don't get paid unless you travel what am I going to get for all my hard work?" WOW really? This really made me upset and made my fiance Livid she called and of course could not get through and left some angry voice mails. She tried to throw these back in my face by sending them in attachments back at me in an email. If she explained all of this from the beginning all of this miscommunication could have been avoided. Whatever happened to customer service? This is money that I worked hard for and wanted to enjoy a honeymoon with my lady. She had no sympathy or understanding about my situation. then she doubled the penalty for cancellation after she got off the phone. She claimed I was rushing her off the phone, but I was at work at my Full Time Job and had to get back to it. At this point I am probably never going to see the significant deposit amount credited back to my card and now im stuck paying interest on a horrible experience. Buyer beware! She has no care except to fill her pockets.

    We've worked with Schambs Property Management for some time now, and I can say with confidence that…read morethey've made owning rental property a much smoother experience than expected. What stands out most is how they handle the relationship between landlords and tenants. It would be easy for a property management company to simply favor whoever is paying their fee, but SPM doesn't operate that way. They advocate for both sides, making sure landlords' investments and interests are protected while also ensuring tenants are treated fairly and their concerns are taken seriously. That balanced approach builds trust on both ends, and it shows in how smoothly things run day to day. Their transparency is also worth noting. I've never had to wonder what's happening with my property. Expenses, lease matters, and maintenance decisions are communicated clearly and without ambiguity. When requests come in whether from me or from a tenant they handle them promptly and effectively. Nothing falls through the cracks. Maintenance gets coordinated, questions get answered, and issues get resolved without me having to follow up at all. That reliability alone takes a significant amount of stress off the table. Overall, SPM strikes an awesome balance between being professional and staying personal. I'd recommend them to any landlord, or on the other hand, to any friends or colleagues who are looking for a rental.

When we moved in, the carpets were in unacceptable condition--they had a strong odor and visible urine stains throughout multiple rooms. It was clear they had not been properly replaced or remediated prior to our move-in. This made the home feel unsanitary and not truly livable from the start. We started cleaning the carpet and there were mounds of cat hair that came up as well as baking soda, assuming it tried to be treated superficially before we moved in. We reported everything right away, expecting a reasonable solution. He sent a company to clean the rugs, but the next day the odor and hair was still there. We reported the photos and smell again, and Instead, we were told by Brian (the owner) that they would only replace the carpets if we agreed to extend our lease AND pay for half of the cost--even though this was clearly a pre-existing issue. He would not come visit himself or send anyone to experience the issue first hand either. It is incredibly frustrating to be asked to financially contribute to fixing an issue that should have been addressed before the property was ever rented out. Basic standards of cleanliness and habitability were not met, and the way this was handled showed a clear lack of professionalism and responsibility. We could not afford to move out and pay that cost of moving, plus a deposit on another home, so we had to split the cost and sign the lease. They just had the carpets replaced and the padding underneath was completely stained and visibly destroyed. Overall, this experience has caused unnecessary stress and left us feeling unsupported as tenants. I would not recommend Schambs Property Management based on how this situation was handled.
