Walking into this store, which is very laid back, yet perfectly designed, I transformed. Ultimately, I believe I was brought back to my Dead Head years today. It's A Dream Smoke Shop is located between Aquarius/Vulcan's Forge, and BP Gas Station. I had seen the clothing rack a few days ago from the window, and made a special trip out there. I had my 19 year old son with me. Let me explain this rationally and so that it will be understood. Hookahs of all caliber are displayed, along with hand blown glass smoking devices, throughout the store, against beautiful lighting. Tapestries of bright colors and amassments are hung from the ceiling. To the back of the wall, against a black background, there are belts, jewelry, trinkets, trays. The other side of the store are the hookahs and hand blown glass smoking devices. Some are over $100.00. Under the case are hand blown perfectly sculpted pipes and devices. Every single color imaginable, and shape, and size. When I visited the store, the manager was there with his girlfriend. He knew precisely what each and every device was used for, how to use it, exactly the price of it and was willing to make us very good deals with whatever we bought. I don't smoke tobacco, but for some reason, I am drawn to shops like this. The clothing was one rack, with gorgeous t-shirts and skirts, hand sewn in a hippy commune in California. The shirt I bought was only 24.95. It is patchwork in bright, solid multicolors, long on one side, short on the other, with black transparencies on some of the squares. I actually will go back, and buy the other shirt. It is in orange, fall colors with a tree embroidered up on side. To the back of the store are jewelry, most of it hand made. I bought 2 lucite bracelets for 5.00. These are made at the commune, as well. It is a little known fact, that another smoke shop down the street, takes smoking devices and throws them on the floor, causing them to bounce, but not break. We were hoping for this. I looked at the manager when he grabbed a thick glass smoking device, and threw it on the floor and it bounced. We were looking forward to seeing this display. The shop also sells accessories for smoking, and other sundries. While in this store, I felt the urge to listen to "Sugar Magnolia", wearing a cotton skirt, and no sandals, and twirl. read more

Check your coils before you walk out that door. These kids couldn't be inconvenienced to actually help me, or say more than 5 words. I asked for a u2 coil and made the mistake of trusting them. I specifically called to make sure they had that coil, because I can't vape at high watts. They sold me a u8. I vape at 40 watts, and I'm stuck with a coil that's minimum is 70 and minimum recommeneed is 90! Nearly twice what I needed! I'll pay more elsewhere to be treated like a person and get what I paid for. read more

Back again! Found an awesome hookah-- but had to switch some things around since it apparently was a one person hookah. I don't know much about hookahs-- and that's why I come here because they really take time to teach you and show you cool stuff. On this trip however the sale's clerk made me feel pretty stupid by how his attitude was towards me. Which was pretty disappointing since I had never had a bad experience here... Not everyone knows as much as you do-- that's why you educate them and don't act/respond in a way to the customer to make them feel stupid or like their hookah knowledge is so inferior it annoys you... Not good business practice! None the less I got an amazing hookah and they cut me a great deal. I'm sure I'll go back because they have great sales-- but I'm hoping the attitude from the one clerk has improved. read more

Great selection, but the workers are not helpful and would not accept a coupon from yelp. They were knowledgeable but not helpful.

This overpriced store is for suckers. I bought a $30 vape from them that didn't work. I brought it back the next day with a receipt and they wouldn't take it back or exchange it. The clerk was unbelievably rude about it too, saying 'we hear a lot of stories about a lot of things here. No refunds or exchanges.' My story was simply, 'I bought it from you yesterday and it didn't work'. Save your money and don't look like a fool shopping at 'Its a Dream' store. Just keep driving a few blocks north to Cooper's Smoke Shop on the other side of the street. Cooper's has been there for decades and know how to treat customers, and they have a lot more vape pen choices and way better prices. read more

I bought s tugboat rda vape. They let me leave the store without a box with warrantee information or any tools needed to actually get the mod to where it would work. Upon returning to ask what kind of product over $100 comes without any accessories. They said they'd exchange it for $100 one(less money than mine was worth). Mind you they told my friend she wasn't made to vape! So I went across the street the exotic guys and they were very helpful. She got her mod fixed and set me up! I have been to Its a dream twice now and over all it is a good smoke shop. One of the sales person behind the counter wasn't really responsive but over all not bad. Customer service was ok too. I really like the floors and variety was huge, they have a little bit of everything. I purchased my rig on sale, regular price was $200 and I got it for only $90.
