I had a mixed experience at Secret Med Spa in Scottsdale. My initial Botox treatment with Nurse Ciera went well and I was happy with the results at first. However, when I returned two weeks later for a follow-up to adjust some forehead lines, I was informed only after arriving (after a 20-minute drive) that Ciera had a family emergency and was not available. I was offered to see another nurse. She used a different brand (Dysport instead of Letybo) and mentioned I would need to pay extra if I wanted the same product Ciera had used. Unfortunately, after the injections my upper eyelid dropped and my brows felt very heavy, affecting my vision and overall look. Another nurse later tried to help, but the improvement was minimal and I was told I would need to wait for it to wear off. I understand emergencies happen, but the communication and outcome were disappointing. I hope the spa improves coordination and follow-up care for patients in the future. read more

They have great deals on multiple treatments but be wary if you've never done the treatment before because if you have a bad experience they won't refund you. They'll only give you credit for other services. Also ask a lot of questions before you commit. The deal I got had to be purchased that same day and I didn't do my own research on Morpheus and now am paying hundreds of dollars to correct what it did to my face. read more

Went in for a 50% off Botox promo I saw in an ad--what a mess. They switched my injector without telling me, then told me they only offer Botox when I specifically booked Dysport. After the appointment, I noticed a random $9 "med spa fee" I was never told about. The only reason this isn't a 1-star review is because my injector was great--but she's based in Houston, so I can't even return for her. Overall, disorganized, misleading, and overpriced. Had to delete my review back in 2023 but honestly looking at the photos and knowing the facial lady who did this still works there, this should be re shared. Just to warn people. Also never got refunded just the dermaplane even though my face burned during the entire facial( mind you it was a 10 dollar refund) and she said it was normal that my whole face was burning... Gashed my chin and didn't bother to let me know she gashed me. Insane and instead of helping me when I've spent over 10k plus there, the manager sided with her employee who did this.. horrible horrible service. So upsetting Jaden moved away. She would always do my facials and look amazing. The picture where there are NO cuts NO circles is the photo of what your skin should look like leaving a med spa. Also saying my skin looks normal is as whole another level of they need money and screw their customers. I've showed this to so many med spas and none of them said that was normal and should happen. Save your money, go to a real Dr.'s office. I got over 60 units put into my face spending close to $800 and STILL have movement in my forehead! I even went back at the two week check up (which I usually never have to do) and "supposedly " got 8 more units. There must be a reason they do not prepare the syringes in the room. Math I've Never Seen Before Let me begin by saying the injector was lovely--professional, patient, and the only reason I didn't sprint out the door like someone fleeing a bad blind date. Unfortunately, the front desk experience had all the warmth of a DMV line during a snowstorm, minus the charm. I came in for their big "50% off!" special. Cute, right? I've been to many injectors over the years, and not once has anyone charged even remotely close to what this place demands. In fact, their "half off" price still outpaces the normal full price of neuromodulators (Botox/Dysport) at reputable clinics. If this is math, I failed the class--and so did my wallet. Let's talk timing. I arrived on schedule. Another person arrived early. They took her in first, and I got called back over 40 minutes after my appointment time. Nothing like sitting in a lobby, slowly calcifying, to set the mood. Now that I've read reviews mentioning diluted product, I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping my results don't vanish faster than my appointment start time. Here's where things get extra spicy: The injector quoted me one price--reasonable enough that I nodded along happily. Then I reached the front desk, where suddenly the price had... evolved. Mutated. Blossomed into something entirely different. Something much larger. And the team at the desk refused to honor what I was told in the treatment room. Cue the legal fun fact: While I'm not making any formal accusations, consumer-protection laws generally frown upon practices that resemble bait-and-switch pricing, misleading discounts, or failure to honor quoted prices. Businesses are expected to give clear, accurate, and consistent cost information. When a company advertises a discount that doesn't resemble reality--or verbally quotes one price but charges another--it can raise red flags under laws regulating deceptive or unfair business practices. I'm not saying they're breaking laws... but let's just say the situation had enough deceptive-adjacent energy to make me want to consult both a calculator and an attorney. In the end: injector = great. Front desk = chaotic. Pricing = mysterious enough that I half expected it to be solved by Nicolas Cage in National Treasure. I had a horrible experience here... Having micro needling made me very sick for two days and my blood pressure go up... I bought a package of three but New after the first one healthwise it was not good. Not using the other two I ask for the money on those two and they said in the contract that I signed that that was not going to happen. Getting my doctor to write a note now. this place has completely gone downhill. I had my first ever Botox fail in my life and I've been getting Botox for years. I was told they fired all the original staff that I had seen(from what I was told it was due to drama, not sure), I was recommended one of the newer staff they have there and she completely screwed up my face I have not left the house since. A complete waste of hundreds of dollars, I've lost confidence in how I look, and cannot wait till these effects wear off. in addition coming back they have added an additional charge a "spa fee charge" which I thought is a ridiculous a money grab. i'm so disappointed and letdown I want my money back this was the worst experience I've ever had at a med spa in my life. Going between TX and AZ I was familiar with It's a Secret since they have locations in TX. It's nerve racking to get filler done by someone new. However, both Tanya and Lacey are AMAZING! They are both very thorough in their consults and listen to your concerns. No pressure to up sell you - which I like. My lips and under eyes have never looked better. Also, Dolly is a sweetheart who is generally at the front desk. They have a new front desk gal who is equally as sweet and helpful too (sorry I don't know her name). Even with skincare needs, Jaydn is amazing and sweet as well. She too will listen to your skincare concerns and suggest treatments and products to your get skincare goals met. I've been coming here for 2 years (since they opened) and have been very disappointed by the level of service from the company. However, the staff is great! So just want to make sure to clarify that this review has nothing to do with the services I have received. I love them! I signed up for the monthly membership and loved the services I got each month, however upon time to renew-no one mentioned that I would no longer be eligibile for the microneedling anymore (previously this was included with the monthly service option). I should have know them not to renew the contract but gave them one more shot. I would go there for my monthly service but also for injections including Botox and filler, and purchased all of my skin care from them. I spent thousands here and have been a loyal customer. I began having a difficult time getting in for appointments after work as they would not be able to fit me in. This turned into a frustration as I was paying $149 a month for nothing. I explained I was frustrated about this so decided the monthly membership wasn't for me. I figured I would just pull back and go here for Botox and fillers and still purchase my product from here. I then found that I kept being charged the monthly membership even tho I was told my membership was ending. I emailed corporate requesting a refund for my last month. Again, I couldn't get in for an appointment because they were booked during the times I could come in. I recently moved so it was getting more and more difficult. Corporate told me that no, would not refund me but they "did me a favor" by extending the date I could use the service. They extended it by a couple weeks which again did not help at all. As someone who works in the business world, I would think this simple request would be easy. I typically get Botox every 4 months and filler a couple times a year along with many products totaling at least a few thousand bucks. Why wouldn't they went to keep a loyal customer? I was consulted with Tonya. I was told to dissolve my top lip and part of my lower lip due to lip filler migration. I came in 2 weeks later and she filled me with one syringe velour ( top and bottom. One whole syringe). Point being I Had to go SOMEWHERE ELSE because Tonya had dissolved more of my top lip than she had filled and I had told her through text it's not plump enough. I spent almost 180 for her to dissolve my lips and almost 550 for her to fill my lips back up that she had dissolved. In fact Tonya left them like normal lips!!! I had to go to somewhere in scottsdale, to get my lips filled back up, later to be informed my top lip which Tonya had filled, had filler migration, not even 3 weeks since she had filled me. I paid for pretty much normal plain jaine lips. I won't come here again. Period. Waste of money. read more

I started my beauty journey a few months ago with It's a Secret Med Spa and so happy I took the plunge! I've always been interested in fillers and Botox and all things beauty. I highly suggest Lacey who is a licensed RN for your fillers. Having a licensed injector is not only crucial to your health but yields the best results due to their training. She is very skilled and up to date on all the trends including lip filler techniques. I endured what she calls the "Instagram filter package": chin, cheeks, Botox and lips. I can't believe what a difference it's all made in unison! I would have to say my favorite is the chin since I had a weak one to start with and has greatly enhanced my facial profile, along with lips because hello who doesn't love a sexy pout. I started with juvederm ultra plus for my first syringe, vollure for my 2nd syringe (4 weeks later), voluma for cheeks and chin and dysport (not as stiff as Botox). My second visit I also did kybella for a better chin/jawline/neck profile. I will say that is the most painful alongside lips but Lacey can give you extra numbing cream and block which helps greatly with any pain that may arise. Everyone is different with their pain level I'm just a baby . My first visit was 7 1/2 hours so if you're wanting to book a bunch of services I'd make sure to do it on a day off or break it up. SO worth it though I promise you! I love all the services they offer it's definitely addicting. My first visit I saw Abby who's the sweetest aesthetician ever and will make you comfortable. She performed my coolsculpting on my banana rolls and lower abdomen (2 visits 4-6 weeks apart) This is not the end all be all to losing unwanted fat. Best results are yielded together with a healthy diet and exercise which helps naturally flush out the dead fat cells. I saw a difference but not as dramatic as my face fillers. I'm excited for my next "wants" which is lip flip, possible jaw filler, hydra facial and jelly mask. They constantly run specials and even offer monthly memberships. I looked for a while to find a good place. Definitely call around and go your research before letting just anyone stick a needle in you. But, again, highly recommend this place!! I recently went here to get my routine maintenance: lips filled and dysport for the first time at this Med spa. I saw the reviews and booked my appt. Sarah was my injector. Let me tell you not only is she the sweetest person ever, she is very knowledgeable, and up to date on techniques. She also doesn't critique your face and try to sell you in services you don't need or want. She told me I had a natural split like a line in my bottom lip and if I liked it, which I did. Keeping that makes my lips look even more natural. I've had my lips done multiple times before as well as dysport. I am beyond pleased with not only the results but the customer service from not only Sarah but the front desk girls as well! Honestly would never step foot in here because of the nightmare experiences my friends have had. Imagine spending upwards of $200 just to have your face filled with cuts and bad reactions leaving your skin bumpy and sore, and THEN have the manager tell you that is totally normal in their work and you got what you paid for - AHHH! First of all, the way she injects, I couldn't even feel the needle pokes compared to other injectors I've experienced. She recommended adding on masseter dysport because of my headaches as well as the added beauty enhancements. It has helped my headaches considerably and I'm already seeing the face slimming effects. She is quick and steady so you're not anticipating the next poke. You can tell she is very meticulous and treats her work like art.
