We were running about 10 minutes late, but we called them and let them know. When we arrived, the front desk staff barely said anything to us and just whisked us back into the massage room. They barely welcomed us, they didn't ask about any focus areas or preferences, and it seems like they were not the strongest communicators. We got a very basic massage with a mix of back, legs, and arms. It was not at all a deep tissue massage. It was not relaxing. It was not worth it. I didn't feel anything at the end; like, I might as well not have gotten a massage at all. When we were done, they whisked us to the counter to pay. Again, not very friendly or communicative. There is a sign on the counter that says there is a $5 charge for paying with credit card, but thankfully they did not charge us that. The place is very barebones, like the service. They have about 6 massage rooms. We were the only ones there, and I got the impression there was only more than one staff person there because we booked in advance. I remained in the lobby for quite a while before being called back. When I finally got to my room, my therapist had no idea what kind of massage I was supposed to receive or for how long. The massage itself was fine, not particularly memorable, but okay. Unfortunately, the overall experience was poorly managed, frustrating, and uncomfortable. To top it off, there's a sign suggesting cash tips (with a suspiciously conveniently placed ATM in the lobby), and they don't tell you in advance that there's an extra charge for using a credit card. I've been trying to find a new regular massage spot, but I don't think this is the spot. Similar to other reviews, I left with the sense that the "therapist" is not a licensed massage therapist, just someone who rubs you.
