This place is located in a small shopping center several lights from the Tyler mall area. Very fun youthful place to come to. Every time we come here, there's a lot of teens that come to enjoy the delicious drinks and hang out after school. They provide an abundance amount of options. If your unsure what your craving, they have a great top 20 list on a screen to help persuade you on your choice lol. I like the classic Thai tee. Definitely recommend if your in the area.

This isn't my first time ordering from this company, but it is my first visit to this location, and I must say, I'm impressed. The staff here is incredibly friendly, and the place is spotless -- even the bathroom is well-maintained. I went with my usual choice, the coconut strawberry smoothie with boba, and swapped in oat milk. It never disappoints! I'll definitely be returning to this location for the great service and refreshing drinks.

Came on Saturday and manager did not know about the Yelp check-in and wouldn't accept it. Disappointing.

Right across the street from Tyler Mall. Easy to spot. Parking/Location: Free. Plenty. A young male employee said to ask the manager but Yelp Check-in Offer was not accepted and manager didn't understand it. She kept asking for QR code. Got a drink one previous time and it was ok.

This place is conveniently outside of the Tyler mall. It is a good choice if you are interested on picking up a quick drink outside of the mall to avoid those busy lines or parking nightmares that you may find inside the mall. I ordered a Thai tea with boba for the first time at this local shop and it was good, Not too sweet and plenty of options to choose from. Customer service was friendly and courteous. Loved the thought that management put in making the atmosphere feel warm and welcoming. Really liked the many variations in toppings on the menu to add to your drinks and customize as you pleased.

I came here on a hot day very excited for some boba and this happened to be the closet shop to me. I ordered the strawberry matcha milk tea with boba and pistachio milk tea with boba. I've never had a pistachio milk tea before and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! You can taste the pistachio, but it was not over powering. It was not a combo I would have thought to try! The strawberry matcha was okay only. I couldn't really taste the matcha flavor. It was pretty to look at, but I probably order a different drink next time because it tasted like straight up strawberry syrup. There is no seating available at this location. They have the tables and the chairs, but it's all stacked up and in a corner. It would have been nice to have a place to sit while I waited for my order, which took a little while considering we were the only people for a good while. The restroom was also closed to customers, so it's not really a place I would want to come hang out.

I was going to order through the app but the "ASAP" option said "13 minute wait" so I decided to just walk in store and order it. Been here 3 times and I've never had to wait long. My order of the Chamango Slush had the right amount of chamoy and tajin with a lot of fresh mango chunks and boba. The Dragon Fruit Smoothie just tasted like banana to me. They were especially generous with the boba. Service was great. Staff was friendly and helped me order separately since the self-service ordering kiosk couldn't scan my gift card.

The drinks are sub par nothing special a little lackluster in taste. The restaurant is a bit dirty, broken tables, full trash CAN. THE SERVICE sucked waited about 40 min to get my order and another 15 min for a manager to arrive to "approve" a refund for an item that was mistakenly charged twice. Not only did I have to wait to get my money back but my drinks that were blended to go were all melting in those 15 min. The manager/owner shouldn't leave the store if his approval is needed. Or he should set up the system to where the cashiers are able to refund not sure if he doesn't trust his employees or what the issue is. Overall I would skip out on coming here you've been warned !!!!

Incredible. Went with my mom for an afternoon treat. I got the Machata which is Matcha and Horchata, when I tell you it tasted like the milk after a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch I mean it. Moms got the coconut strawberry. She said it was delicious. Chunky strawberries mixed with creamy coconut, she was savoring every sip. She didn't want it to end. My ONLY issue was the music in there was soooo loud, that on top of wearing masks it was hard to hear the cashier. I get it probably puts the workers in a good mood especially since no dine in hang out atmosphere going on. Still, just turn it down a notch haha.

Busy boba shop with a large selection of milk teas, slushes, smoothies and more. I read somewhere that they have over 140 different drinks, whoa! One awesome thing about this place is that boba is always free! You can also get an add on with a yelp check in! Came here on a weekday evening. The shop had a steady stream of customers, which was a great sign that it is a good place! They are only doing take out at this time. Masks are required and social distancing is enforced. On this last visit, I got the lychee slush, which was refreshing and delicious but just a little too sweet. I had forgotten to ask if the sweetness level could be adjusted. I look forward to trying other drinks, especially their frappes.

I'm never coming here AGAIN! Customer service was HORRIBLE and the drinks and food were WORSE!!! The people there made me look like an idiot and weren't clear on when I would get my cake. Not to mention they were INCREDIBLY rude and looked at me as if I was strange for asking for a spoon!!!! My drink was watered down and tasted downright disgusting while my cake was OVERPRICED and tasted of pure SUGAR!!!! Not only was it a waste of my money, but the rainbow "crepe" had a black finger print on the plastic underneath!! I cannot believe they would sell such an overpriced product. Eight dollars for a mediocre crepe?! During pride month too!!! So unprofessional! Don't waste your time OR money here.

What time is it? It's boba time! And it's a'boba time a new bubble tea shop opened up in West Riverside! INTERIOR / ATMOSPHERE Because it is a new shop, It's Boba Time was very clean. Aside from the shop being adorned in congratulatory bouquets and 'good luck' orchids, the decor was modern with its marble-styled quartz countertops, cool gray tones with geometric gold fixtures, a giant boba cup-shaped selfie backdrop, and "Simple Love of Boba" written across the rear wall. And for obvious pandemic reasons, their services were limited to take-out or online orders only. Also, they have some good music playing in the background. COVID-19 Yes, the employees wear masks. Yes, the cashier wore gloves. Yes, there are floor markers. However, no one monitored the door for when there are too many persons inside the shop. There was a brief time when several of the people waiting for drinks were closer than 6-feet. LOCATION / MENU ITEMS It's Boba Time is located near Tyler Mall off Magnolia and Hughes (next to Firehouse Subs and Taqueria 2 Potrillos). This is a huge win for Riverside because -- not only does It's Boba Time offer ice cold slushies and milk tea drinks we've grown to love -- they also have a variety of options, such as hot beverages, acai bowls, iced tea, shaved ice, and more! They're probably the most popular boba franchises I've tried in SoCal. I've only had It's Boba Time from the San Diego location and the Coconut Strawberry Smoothie was my favorite and so, of course, I had to have my coconut fix from this new Riverside location. Although they have a lot of drinks to choose from, they make it really convenient by having a Top 10 list of drinks. Another good drink is their Matcha Strawberry Milk Tea because it's not too sweet. WAIT TIME / SERVICE Boba Tea shops will more than likely have a wait time. Being a new shop with new employees, they were not an exception. I did have to wait about 10-15 minutes for 3 drinks. I'm sure placing an Online Order would have been quicker. Regardless of the wait time, the cashier (lady with short hair -- I'm sure she was the owner) was super friendly and kind. Overall, I'm really happy to have a handful of good boba shops closer to me. If you're coming soon, expect a bit of a wait -- they just opened this month (July 2020). I'm already looking forward to having my next Coconut Strawberry Smoothie again!

My daughter is OBSESSED with boba time and she loves coming here, taro is her favorite and they have a oreo taro that she likes. Staff is soooo kind, I unfortunately didn't clearly catch the name of the young lady who helped me today I think it was Carly, but my daughter says she heard Harley sooo I'm not to sure but I had a coupon with no barcode and to be safe she gave me her managers # to be sure she can use it at this location. She was SUPER nice about it and very helpful I hate pushing the coupon issue but this is the only boba time in our area but I understood that they don't usually use paper coupons which is understandable due to the fact that they have an app for their store. I really appreciated her kindness and patience.

The people here are very nice:) I often see people bring their kids and they love the smoothies too. The inside is always clean, I personally like the way they decorated with plants and lights. I only thing id say kinda sucks is they never have avocados but every other drink is good too so its not a big deal. read more

Okay so: -I really like their boba (texture, flavor); -I liked their Milk Thai tea (the only one I've tried so far); -Everyone inside has been nice; But: -I would appreciate if they mixed up the boba a little more often. I found a clump or two (nothing too outrageous tho); -Yes it does seem that they get busy and move slowly. Anyway, this is going to be my go-to boba place from now on, especially cause I became disappointed with the other major boba spot in the area. I hope I'll be able to give it a 5 star rating soon! read more

Slowest service ever. Takes 30 minutes for one drink to be ready. Ran out of boba. Can you imagine a boba spot out of boba??? Drinks are mid at best. Sizes are too small. Music is too loud. Employees would rather gossip than make drinks. read more

I REALLY enjoy the drinks and macaroons here. They have the BEST flavors and it is definitely my favorite Boba spot of all time. However, the WAIT time really drives me crazy. You have to wait such a long time every time you come here. That's the only reason I'm giving it two stars. My time is very valuable to me and sometimes I have to wait between 15 minuets when it's not too busy and up to 30 minuets when it is. Even when ordering on the app online, make sure you order at least 20-30 minuets out. You are in for a long wait. Otherwise, I would totally recommend trying this place. SOO good! read more

Everytime I come I always try to get something new and so far have not been disappointed! The cookies and cream is an absolute favorite. The service is also fast, even when it gets busy. There's also a lot of chairs to sit at while you are waiting for your order. They always keep the lobby very clean. read more

The worst service!!!! The only reason I come here is because I don't have another boba time near me and this is the closest one! The drinks are good but the service is TERRIBLE!!!! Mega terrible! I always order ahead of time and make it to be ready ASAP and when I show up about 30-40 minutes later, they never have my drink ready! Recently I ordered an açaí smoothie that they had on the website. I showed up and they told me 5 more minutes, I waited about 20 and then they told me they didn't have that drink there! I would rate is a -10 if I could! Just horrible! read more

Don't waste your time!!!!!!They take FOREVER! I ordered my drink from home! I live 20 min away and when I got there it still wasn't ready. There was literally only two people there when I parked. People that came AFTER me got their drink before me. I really use to like this place but the service and quality have gone down hill. I understand being understaffed but there was like 5-6 ppl back there. I don't understand. I ended up waiting 40 min for 2 items. Needless to say I won't be coming back at all. I rather give my time and money to a mom and pop shop than this joke of a place. read more

I LOVE Boba Time, let me start there. I was really disappointed with the service tonight. I ordered ahead online and had to wait an extra 20 minutes in store. There were 3 parties who got there after me, ordered and received their drinks before I did. It seemed like they hadn't even paid attention to me or my order until I asked twice about it. Good Evening, I placed an order ahead at 7:06 pm the application told me to be there at 7:26. I arrived there at 7:28 checked in waited for my drinks over 30 min. I asked to speak with the owner to file a complaint and he didn't let me finish telling him what happened when he was already being rude and short. He was making up excuses without even hearing the customer and I told him I was going to call corporate. He told me I should always call ahead once I placed my order to let them know when I'm coming in then what's the point of having a order ahead app. I checked in when I arrived too. I spent $16 of my hard earned money for the service to be subpar and the worst experience ever. I watched the employee work the whole crowd out and if I wouldn't have spoken up I would still be waiting. I'm going to do a yelp review about this situation and now I know why they have a 3.7 review on Yelp!!!! Don't bother on calling the manager or owner he is a waist of time. I just send a complaint to the corporate let's see if they Eve do anything! read more

Short story time. Being that this place is within walking distance from my house. I decided I needed to get my Boba fix. I called ahead of time even though (I've never ordered there or been there yet). The guy on the phone sound like the 'Sour Bill' from Wreck-It Ralph so I was like man he gonna be rude but no he was nice and informative like don't know what butterfly is. And he explained the drink to me. Besides that, I walked in and they were still prepping and the cashier was getting trained so I patiently waited and took photos of the place in front of the owner who didn't seem bothered at all. I liked my drink "Tiger Sugar Milk" especially since they have lactose option (Almond milk) 75 cents charge. My boyfriend got a peach strawberry tea with boba. He said it needed more sweetness. But definitely going to come back to try other stuff on their menu. I do wish they would ask how sweet or how much Ice we would like. So just a heads up. When I do go back (which will be soon) I will update the review - if necessary. Size options are Regular, Large or Extra Large. read more

I still like this place, I just wouldn't order online through the app anymore. I ordered something online through the app and send my dad to pick it up. He always complains that it's never ready when he goes to pick it up. He would go 20-30 minutes after I placed the order and it still isn't ready. I get why he could be annoyed by that. This one particular time, I ordered an açaí bowl. My dad goes to pick it up, then come to find out they don't have the item in stock. They claimed they ran out. My dad calls me to ask if I want another type of açaí bowl but I said no. The cashier says they will refund him through his card but they never did. Issue has not been resolved even though it's been months now. We just haven't gone back since. If I were to come back, I would just order in store and not the app so I can be aware of the food items they still have in stock. 2 stars because they have good items. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst service. Worst drink. Can't say much abt the boba because they didn't have any. Didn't let me know until after I got my drink. Absolutely ridiculous. You guys are called "it's boba time" but can't even make boba. You should be called "it's lower your expectations time". Also if it couldn't get any worse, they made my drink wrong twice. Literally have no idea what just happened. Just know I'm never going back. read more

Their coffee, tea, and baked goods are fantastic, but the main reason I love this place is because it's very cozy and the perfect place to read, study, catch up with a friend, or go on a date. They have a special, themed menu that changes every month. There is almost always seating available. They have a small book exchange, often sell local art, have cute merch, and just opened up a bakery right next door with extra seating. I'm kind of a snobbish third-wave coffee person and although this place isn't trying to be that way, it still is my favorite spot because of the overall vibe, how genuinely kind and down to earth the baristas are, and how comfortable it is. I felt ignored and I was about to walk out but I really had high hopes for this place and thought it would be just as good, if not better than Rad Coffee in Long Beach & Upland, it's not, first and last time I'll be here. So you will always have one half that has less chicken and ends up being part veggie pesto sandwhich, which is still worth it. The other favorite is a turkey club sandwhich on a croissant. It's basic, but also very tasty. They also carry a variety of pastries and serve Klatch coffee (brewed coffee) if you need a sweet treat afterward.

HORRIBLE BOBA SHOP!!!!! DO NOT COME. The owner is extremely disrespectful to customers and employees; does not even take consideration to wear a mask during this pandemic. He does not treat his employees with respect, treats them like animals. I have seen him drink from the blender and spoons that the employees use to make drinks. I've overheard his employees talk bad about their boss, which I don't blame them because they said that he re-uses items from the trash to serve to customers. Gross. And for some reason there are only about 2 female employees that work there. I have been to many boba time shops in socal, and I must say, this is the most spacious, and most NICEST boba shop I've ever seen!! They're brand new in Riverside, and they're located around many other retail stores. Decor of this place is very clean and simple. Staff is amazing. And the BATHROOM!! There's a button that turns on the lights for your bathroom selfies! (Day WHAT!?) The drinks here is also AMaZING!! My 3 favorite is the strawberry matcha, coconut strawberry, and guava ice tea. Absolutely disgusting!! The bosses here do not respect their employees as they make hateful and rude comments so do not support this store at all!! Ive been told from many people that many of the utencils being used are dirty and being used from the trash! Please support somehwere else! I dont condome the behavior that they have been doing, its very unproffesional and i hope thye get replaced with better people. I got boba from here once and never again!
