My fiancé used to come to this boba shop a lot when he was a student at UCR. he graduated in 2014, and now, students are still coming here for decently priced boba and popcorn chicken. Parking is very easy in the plaza. When coming inside, you are to order with the kiosk right in the front. I had ordered their original boba milk tea and my fiancé got their mango milk tea. We also ordered mildly spicy popcorn chicken with sweet and sour sauce. We didn't wait too long for our drinks and snacks. I'd say about 10 minutes. Their boba milk tea is just as other reviews describe; it's not amazing yet not bad. It's the price you pay for! The boba isn't fantastic either, but it tastes like my childhood. Their popcorn chicken was decent but it tasted spicy instead of mild. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, it was another nostalgic shop for students in the area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's clean inside, has quick service, and is a perfect hang out spot with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I mostly come here to study because it is near UCR. Like a short walk across the street if you like by any of the North District buildings. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like this place because it is very study-friendly and they dont kick you out after awhile.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You buy something, and then you can study indefinitely here -- just keep the receipt so you can use the restroom throughout[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The boba and food are pretty good. Not the worst but also not the best. The boba itself isnt groundbreaking, but it's great. My usual order is Matcha. The food has a home cooking vibe to it which I really like, but if they could make the portions bigger and tastier than it would be great. Together they were very affordable. You could spend at least $10 - $15 on a study lunch here [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also like their fish tank in the back. Very pretty and homely[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Lychee green tea with lychee jelly

Tried the lychee green tea with lychee jelly, less sweet. It was good. Probably could've done with regular sweetness. Staff was friendly, helpful with naming off their popular items which happen to be majority of the milk teas. They also serve small bites to eat. Ambiance is that of a regular boba shop. They have indoor seating and a chalkboard you can doodle on.

I got their sweet potato's fries and it was hella salty. I love sweet potato fries but the amount of salt added to the fries was way too much, i couldn't finish it if i wanted to. It would've been better without any salt.

Stopped in after lunch for some boba. First time visiting experienced very friendly and helpful staff. The digital menu is on the wall so you can easily make your selections. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice space, clean and organized.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great for whatever kind of day you may be having. A place to study, gather with friends or catch up on Yelp reviews lol.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tables against the side wall to stay a while and enjoy your drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Though there's some better choices out there this was a decent spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Loved the little boba pillows so cute. This shopping center has random businesses. The outside parking area looks a little weathered but there's some good finds here.

Lavender milk tea with egg pudding on the left, taro coconut milk tea with boba on the right
    Sophia S.

We made a quick boba stop on the way back to the Valley on a Saturday around 2pm! First, parking was easy - there's a huge lot! Second, service was friendly, patient, and quick. It was pretty much just us and one other party, but nonetheless, we appreciated it. Next is the food/drink! Lavender milk tea with pudding and less sweetness: the lavender flavor is pretty subtle (enough so that my partner didn't mind it, despite not usually liking these kinds of flavor profiles), and the sweetness was at just the right level for me. The milk tea flavor landed first, followed by a slight kick of lavender. It worked for me! I didn't love the texture of the egg pudding, though - while most bites were soft and smooth, some had a layer/film with a different texture. Taro coconut milk tea with boba and less sweetness: my partner said it was good - refreshing. The boba was solid! I'd say that the coconut flavor is pretty present, but my partner thought it was subtle. Popcorn chicken at medium spicy: my partner thought it was good, but we both agreed that we would have liked it to be crispier. The spiciness level was accurate, but because the spice wasn't evenly distributed, the chicken at the top of the bag seemed more spicy than the chicken at the bottom. I would have liked the chicken to be a bit more flavorful, but my partner was happy with it. We didn't really like the sauce that came with this, though. Overall, this seemed like a standard boba spot with some cute items for purchase. We wouldn't go out of our way to visit, but it wasn't a bad way to satisfy our boba craving.

Tiger milk tea and brown sugar milk tea
    Nikki P.

Pretty good boba and drinks for the area. Relatively close to UCR. Ordered the tiger tea and brown sugar milk tea with boba and pudding. They are strict with masks. You have to wear one inside. I didn't wear one upon entering, but they were kind enough to give me one.

    Taro Slush with crystal boba
    Nancy T.

Cute little boba place near UCR campus. I had the Taro slushy with added crystal boba, fam had strawberry smoothie, pineapple smoothie and mango smoothie, and we split an order of churros. All were very good. Service was quick.

Ask the Community - Boba Tea House

    Is there indoor seating?

Not as of last week when I was there but hopefully soon as things are reopening now

Their menu says that their milk teas are non-dairy. What do they use? Just curious!

    Do they accept Apple Pay?

    Yes

The drinks were delicious and served in nice, sturdy cups. Matcha Storm: A dessert-style matcha slush blended with creme brulee, this drink is a cup of creamy richness. It was blended perfectly to have a smooth, but slightly granular texture without any chunkiness. Moon Princess: From the secret menu, this is a peach green tea with chewy crystal boba. I really enjoyed every element of this drink. It was surprisingly creamy and had just the right amount of sweetness. Online ordering can be done through the app - super convenient and easy. First things first is that this location is quite spacious, although it's a smaller store, I find that the store made the store very spacious with what they got. There's plenty of tables around and we saw a few hanging about and some on their devices. We had order online so there was no wait at all. I highly recommend downloading their app as they have promotions very often. My go to drink at Krak Boba is forever the Matcha Storm (Slush) and my wife wanted to try the Moon Princess drink. As the Matcha Storm is always a wonderful choice, they're always very consistent with the drink. Super refreshing no matter the situation and this time was no different. It's one of their most popular drinks and for good reason. My wife's drink, the Moon Princess was in my opinion, even better than the Matcha Storm. I don't know how to really describe it, but it was a taste that I had rarely seen. It was super refreshing, a mix of floral and oolong, it was just the perfect drink. Certainly a good recommendation for such a unique name for a drink. Overall, 10/10 Krak Boba locations, they have other locations and they're all wonderful. Love the consistency.

Their music was tasteful but trendy, and never too loud. The snacks were an occasional treat but SO GOOD, and the drinks were consistent. I always thought they were pricey, but I was paying for a nice ambiance, good service, consistent drinks and food, and guaranteed seats! But unfortunately Trà has gone down! They increased prices, added food that was NOT developed or tasted before rolling out, and they play weird loud chanting music the times I have been back. I have ordered the vietnamese coffee before, but recently it was watery when I received it and not full. My other favorite drink, passionfruit tea half sweet, is never going to be the same again. Every time I try to go back, it's inconsistent and ultimately not worth it anymore. I used to LOVE this place and I'm heartbroken. The nail in the coffin has been making the grave mistake of relying on my memory and ordering the popcorn chicken. Picture attached and speaks for itself! I was pleasantly surprised when driving by the area that there was a highly rated boba place I hadn't been to before. When I walked in, I was surprised by how busy it was. There was a line for the kiosk and after I ordered my drinks, the line was consistently to the door. There was a very wide selection of drinks to choose from and I appreciate them having unique flavors and twists to drink. I was contemplating between a matcha einspanner and the oksusu (corn) matcha latte. When I asked if there was a way to mix the two, Taylor was super friendly and helpful to explain how each drink was made and differed from one another and then took the time to give me options on how I could change up my drink. I ended up going with the oksusu matcha latte because the Korean in me loves corn drinks but Taylor had the barista add a rim of matcha syrup that you typically get in the einspanner. I loved the oksusu flavored foam with the little crunchy puffs. The matcha flavor was a little lighter than I typically like but still props for the unique take. My hubby got the Hokkaido milk tea. It was definitely a very sweet drink with a caramel like syrup in it which is different than how we've had Hokkaido milk tea at other boba places. To be totally honest, my husband and I had walked in and back out of this place several times before finally trying it.
