My fiancé used to come to this boba shop a lot when he was a student at UCR. he graduated in 2014, and now, students are still coming here for decently priced boba and popcorn chicken. Parking is very easy in the plaza. When coming inside, you are to order with the kiosk right in the front. I had ordered their original boba milk tea and my fiancé got their mango milk tea. We also ordered mildly spicy popcorn chicken with sweet and sour sauce. We didn't wait too long for our drinks and snacks. I'd say about 10 minutes. Their boba milk tea is just as other reviews describe; it's not amazing yet not bad. It's the price you pay for! The boba isn't fantastic either, but it tastes like my childhood. Their popcorn chicken was decent but it tasted spicy instead of mild. Overall, it was another nostalgic shop for students in the area. It's clean inside, has quick service, and is a perfect hang out spot with friends.

I mostly come here to study because it is near UCR. Like a short walk across the street if you like by any of the North District buildings. I like this place because it is very study-friendly and they dont kick you out after awhile. You buy something, and then you can study indefinitely here -- just keep the receipt so you can use the restroom throughout The boba and food are pretty good. Not the worst but also not the best. The boba itself isnt groundbreaking, but it's great. My usual order is Matcha. The food has a home cooking vibe to it which I really like, but if they could make the portions bigger and tastier than it would be great. Together they were very affordable. You could spend at least $10 - $15 on a study lunch here I also like their fish tank in the back. Very pretty and homely

Tried the lychee green tea with lychee jelly, less sweet. It was good. Probably could've done with regular sweetness. Staff was friendly, helpful with naming off their popular items which happen to be majority of the milk teas. They also serve small bites to eat. Ambiance is that of a regular boba shop. They have indoor seating and a chalkboard you can doodle on.

I got their sweet potato's fries and it was hella salty. I love sweet potato fries but the amount of salt added to the fries was way too much, i couldn't finish it if i wanted to. It would've been better without any salt.

Stopped in after lunch for some boba. First time visiting experienced very friendly and helpful staff. The digital menu is on the wall so you can easily make your selections. Nice space, clean and organized. Great for whatever kind of day you may be having. A place to study, gather with friends or catch up on Yelp reviews lol. Tables against the side wall to stay a while and enjoy your drinks. Though there's some better choices out there this was a decent spot. Loved the little boba pillows so cute. This shopping center has random businesses. The outside parking area looks a little weathered but there's some good finds here.

Best food I've EVER HAD. Smoothed was amazing, ambiance was so chill and fun to be in. Service was simple and fast saying the kiosk.

Lavender milk tea with egg pudding on the left, taro coconut milk tea with boba on the right

We made a quick boba stop on the way back to the Valley on a Saturday around 2pm! First, parking was easy - there's a huge lot! Second, service was friendly, patient, and quick. It was pretty much just us and one other party, but nonetheless, we appreciated it. Next is the food/drink! Lavender milk tea with pudding and less sweetness: the lavender flavor is pretty subtle (enough so that my partner didn't mind it, despite not usually liking these kinds of flavor profiles), and the sweetness was at just the right level for me. The milk tea flavor landed first, followed by a slight kick of lavender. It worked for me! I didn't love the texture of the egg pudding, though - while most bites were soft and smooth, some had a layer/film with a different texture. Taro coconut milk tea with boba and less sweetness: my partner said it was good - refreshing. The boba was solid! I'd say that the coconut flavor is pretty present, but my partner thought it was subtle. Popcorn chicken at medium spicy: my partner thought it was good, but we both agreed that we would have liked it to be crispier. The spiciness level was accurate, but because the spice wasn't evenly distributed, the chicken at the top of the bag seemed more spicy than the chicken at the bottom. I would have liked the chicken to be a bit more flavorful, but my partner was happy with it. We didn't really like the sauce that came with this, though. Overall, this seemed like a standard boba spot with some cute items for purchase. We wouldn't go out of our way to visit, but it wasn't a bad way to satisfy our boba craving.

Pretty good boba and drinks for the area. Relatively close to UCR. Ordered the tiger tea and brown sugar milk tea with boba and pudding. They are strict with masks. You have to wear one inside. I didn't wear one upon entering, but they were kind enough to give me one.

Cute little boba place near UCR campus. I had the Taro slushy with added crystal boba, fam had strawberry smoothie, pineapple smoothie and mango smoothie, and we split an order of churros. All were very good. Service was quick.

I would honestly give this place 1 star but I gave an extra one for the service. Food: I've been here before and their drinks are just okay. This time I tried their popcorn chicken snack and was disappointed. It's about $8 for a TINY portion, we waited over 15 minutes for 1 order when there was no one there except us, and there was tofu mixed with the chicken. They also gave it to us in a to-go bag when we were dining in. The worst part is that I asked for mild spice and there was still so much seasoning on the popcorn chicken, it was wayyy too hot for me to eat to the point that my eyes were tearing up. The seasoning was unevenly distributed too. I definitely will not be back here. Service: friendly employees! A lot of them are UCR students and new so it's a little slow but they're helpful and provide good customer service. Plenty of parking in the attached parking lot. Wifi available. Seating inside is booth style. No public restrooms. No trashcan inside, you have to take it all outside the store.

3.5 stars! A good tea shop to go to near UCR. They have really affordable drinks and snacks! I'm a huge fan of their tea, but their boba is inconsistent. Sometimes their boba can be hard, and other times it's the perfect texture. You're better off getting their other toppings like mini boba, egg pudding or lychee jelly. My favorites: + Strawberry Honey Pudding: a milk icee base with strawberry syrup and egg pudding! Lots of different flavors and textures in this drink. If you have a sweet tooth, this is a great drink to try. + Rose Milk Tea: not too floral and has a good tea flavor. A more refreshing milk tea. This drink is always consistent and has the perfect rose to milk tea ratio for me. + The snacks are good! I love the fried tofu, seasoned fries, and popcorn chicken here. The 5-spice seasoning is really flavorful. Pretty affordable at $5.75 too.

    Is there indoor seating?

Not as of last week when I was there but hopefully soon as things are reopening now

Their menu says that their milk teas are non-dairy. What do they use? Just curious!

My money, my time, my gas, and my effort showing up at this business mean something and are worth a lot to me. To be told the second I walked in that they had too many online orders and weren't taking any more in-person orders, while the floors were soaking wet and all the chairs were flipped on top of the tables, was not just insulting but a clear message that I have zero value to this business. First-time customer and last-time customer. If you plan to close an hour, or even 40 minutes, before your posted closing time, then change your closing time to reflect that. I ended up going to Juice It Up at 8:40 p.m., and they happily took my order with a smile. What a difference it makes to be treated humanely.

It's a bit small inside, but they also have seating outside, which is nice if you want more space to sit and hang out. When I looked at the menu, I did notice the prices were a bit high. The small matcha was already around $8, so my friend and I decided to get a large Lagoon Matcha for $9 to share, which felt like the better deal. The drink itself wasn't bad, but I was honestly expecting a lot more matcha flavor. It mostly tasted like coconut water, which was refreshing, but there just wasn't enough matcha or cream to really balance it out. The matcha cream top itself was actually pretty good from what I could taste, but I wish there was way more of it. Instead of that richer, deeper matcha flavor you'd expect, it tasted more like a sweet cream with just a hint of matcha. I feel like if the ratio leaned more toward the matcha cream, it would've made the drink way better. The menu also mentioned that the Lagoon Matcha comes with coconut bits, which I was actually looking forward to, but unfortunately I didn't get any in mine. I actually had to go back inside and ask for more matcha cream because I could barely taste any matcha at all, and they were really kind about it and gave me extra, which I appreciated. Overall, the drink felt a bit underwhelming and disappointing, especially for the price. I really liked the concept and wanted to enjoy it more, but I just wish the matcha flavor stood out a lot stronger.
