But, I felt the need to say something about this business. I recently had a wedding, which I booked Queens for, a year in advance. Beginning with, they showed up late. They provide the garnishments, but when they arrived without a knife to cut the garnishments and no way to cut them, none of the guests could get them. As well as the bartender kept leaving the bar during service. In my contract, it was written and signed that I would be provided with 2 bartenders. When only one showed up, I contacted the owner and was given a response of I only paid for one, and the 2nd one was a courtesy. If that was the case, then that should have been discussed with me ahead of time, when the contract was signed. I planned on having two bartenders, based on the number of guests. Also, my contract stated that I was going to have two bartenders. If I had known one unprepared, late bartender was going to cost me $650 I would have found another option.

I needed a location that could accommodate the wedding ceremony and the reception. The Estate was able to do this effortlessly without sacrificing the beauty of the wedding ceremony or the fun of the reception. I loved planning my wedding at the Estate because it is a one stop shop: they did our flowers, decorations, linens, food, bar service, valet parking and our cake! As a busy bride, it is so helpful to not have to coordinate with numerous vendors. The artistry of the floral arrangements blew me away. The venue was a hit with our guests as it is an interesting building that allows the wedding to flow seamlessly from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. The venue is tucked off Piedmont Road behind a nondescript brick wall and gate. It is the kind of place you've driven past a million times and never thought twice about. Once you go through the gates of the driveway, you won't forget it. The landscaping and trees that surround the Estate make it hard to believe you are in the middle of Buckhead (we got some great outdoor photos). The main house is a historic antebellum home with a huge sun porch, chic interior design and beautiful art on the walls. There are at least 4 spaces for bars in the main house with a ceremony space and ballroom built off the side of the original structure. I'd recommend having your wedding here-- it was easy to plan with the staff at the Estate and the wedding was so beautiful thanks to their work.

Never once did I have to ask for a drink or bite to eat. I wish I could have him with me every day! This was the first time I had thrown a big party outside of my home and I wanted to make sure that everything was great. Well, Shana helped make that happen. I let her know how I wanted things laid out and she made sure everything was set up according to the plan. At my event, I didn't have to worry about details like emptying the trash or ensuring the bathroom was refreshed...Shana made sure that was taken care of so I could just enjoy myself and my guests. It was also nice not to have to clean up once the party was over She also offered recommendations for a bartender (which I used), caterer, DJ and other services which was super helpful.
