I've lived in the area for YEARS and had no idea about this shop. Anyways, it's amazing. Run, don't walk. There's no website but come here, it's pretty incredible. THE GOODS There's over 7 million pieces here to choose from. The specialties here are uniforms - police, old nurse uniforms, cheerleader, etc. Lots of amazing stuff for women resides on the top floor too. From small devil masks and bloody make-up to full costumes and even those funny 'blow-up' costumes. Jeff ( Geoff?) runs an enthusiastic staff who know what is hot ( new ) each year. Worst case you can call them up before driving over to browse. I would go early, at least 2 weeks before Halloween to ensure the widest selection but I have also dropped in 1 day before to find a small accessory to finish my costume. I suggest going with some clue as to the direction/theme of your outfit or plan to spend an hour just wandering the packed aisles. Have fun!!!

so this place is a bit hard to categorize on here because its a bit specialized. its an enormous,…read moregargantuan warehouse that is filled with clothes many racks wide, long, high, and deep. think floors but without the floors just racking up to the ceiling. they have the largest collection of clothes and costumes (to put it as simply as possible because its anything but simple in its scope) in canada. now they do business with film, television and print companies both in toronto and in the rest of canada as their collection is a unification of three major sources of costume departments: the CBC, RDS and from personal collectors. ive been to a few fittings here, and they provide ample space, to tailor clothes as need be, find whatever your heart desires, and many multiples of the same clothes as well as well as many period costumes. im sure that any costume designer knows the excellence of this place and would say the same.

Prices were good, comparable or better than what I've seen online plus they helped me choose between grease and water based paint. I was in and out in under five minutes. I'll definitely be back the next time I need stage makeup when street make up is inadequate for my needs. They also have an assortment of costumes, magic items and various other things, but I didn't have a chance to check it all out. Cool place.
