IT'SUGAR is a chain of candy stores founded by Jeff Rubin. His father owned toy stores before going into candy. Jeff worked in the family business and then went out on his own. Some early projects included designing candy stores inside of FAO Schwartz and Toys R' Us and working with Dylan's Candy Bar in Manhattan. In 2006 the first IT'SUGAR opened on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City, NJ. Ten years later 100 stores were opened and it was one of the fastest growing candy retailers in the country. A signature design aspect is that all of the stores are bright and colorful. Candy can be purchased by the package or in bulk. Here you can find that one of a kind item that you won't see anywhere else. Candy is name brand and offered in mega sizes and they also have a private label that sells things like the line they developed with Saturday Night Live, Schweddy Balls. Besides candy, IT'SUGAR also sells funny novelty items, accessories, and clothes. My friend and I wandered in here after dinner. It was one of the few stores in Dania Pointe open late. I love the variety of Hi-Chew candy, Ramune soda, Japanese snacks, and wide selection of flavors of gummy bears. They carry gummy bento boxes and gummy flower bouquets along with oversized versions of some of your favorite candies. I like to get their birthday chocolates to go with a gift card for a sweet birthday gift. Not having been in an IT'SUGAR in awhile, I had forgotten what a cool novelty section they have. If you need a white elephant or joke gift, they have you covered. There were some salty items any teacher would appreciate and would make you top of the class. My friend and I had a few good laughs. I especially like how these stores always have new and interesting inventory that you don't see anywhere else.

Super cute candy shop with gag gifts and great mugs! We stopped in here after eating at Tommy Bahama. It was right before closing time! I absolutely adore licorice and sour gummy candy. It's my weakness. They had a wonderful assortment of candy by the pound. 16.49/lb or 4.79 for 1/4 lb. The gag gifts and mugs made me laugh after a rough week at work! If you are at Dania Point, you have to stop in here.

SUGAR OVERLOAD...IN DANIA POINTE. Once you enter there are numerous tables with sugary items to browse, place what you want into a baggy and purchase by the weight. I love the peach chews and definately not the spicy chews. The store is very spacious with colorful colors and wording on the walls. Great candy gift packages available. Love this place.

Being a sugar lover I had to check this place out. To my surprise, this is more than a candy store inside. The store has funny novelty items, socks, stuffed animals, cups, and much more. I had a good time here. The music choice was great and I liked the atmosphere here. I was happy to see candies I had not seen in some time. The type you don't normally see at stores and some from my childhood that put a smile on my face. I also saw some interesting candy bars from Jack Daniels and Captain Morgan that contained alcohol. I didn't know this existed. One of the displays caught my eye. It had some adult humor to it. It was funny and I think this was the perfect place for it. It was just little sayings printed on socks, hand sanitizers, cups, and other things. The store was bright and colorful. The service was friendly and helpful. I am glad I stopped in

What can I say about this place other then how amazing it was, from the staff to the items they sell. They have so many different things here and the ambiance of the store is so much fun, you'll be laughing at many of the items they have here! The staff was friendly and greeted me as soon as a walked in the store and told us where the bags and scoops for the bag your own candy were scattered around. I grabbed a handful of different candies and found a few that were candies that I have never seen before. These consisted of 3D shaped gummy bears, choclate covered sweedish fish and candy rocks. They price this out by weight and you can get a decent amount of candies as a variety bag for sure! We walked around laughing at other candy, chocolates and gag gifts they had prepackaged. They had a liquid style candy that was wrapped in a cup and it looked like a urine sample. Definitely something that was crazy and interesting! They also sold chocolates that were infused with tequila, whiskey and bailey's. These you need to be 21 or older to purchase. They also had a interesting thing to purchase and this was CRICKETS dusted in a onion and garlic powder. Not my first choice but someone will try it out for sure. I will be back again, easily and hopefully very soon!

Let's go to the candy store... my inner child was so happy, so many candies, gummies, colors, flavors, 3D sweets, coffee cups, stuffed animals in your favorite candies shapes, socks and much more...We really had fun walking around the store were everyone seemed to be having a great time. I got some gummies, my new favorite is the green apple bears and the pineapples and obviously the pretzel chocolates and some sour sharks Great staff, music, decor and lots of funny things and sweet candy all nicely and tidy organized. Ps. You can get as much candies as you like from any of the tables.

Lots of different options of sweet candy! The service while I was there was fine. The store wasn't busy. I was looking for something specific that I didn't fine , but I also found some interesting thing that might be of use in the future. Some items seemed super expensive for no reason, but some other items are hard to find items so I understand.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!…read more Sugarverse Candy 349 Johnson St, Hollywood, FL 33019 Their customer service is basically non-existent. The owner and one of the workers (a woman) were extremely rude and unprofessional. We were sitting at one of their tables while my friend was inside getting ready to buy candy. Out of nowhere, the owner came outside and told us we couldn't sit there. His reasoning? My son had dropped a small piece of his waffle cone, and apparently that was too much for him to deal with. Because of how we were treated, I immediately went inside and told my friend not to purchase anything. No one should spend money at a place that treats customers like that. This was completely unnecessary and honestly shocking. They seriously need to learn some basic manners and how to treat people with respect.

This is basically a replica of the big retail candy shop called Itsugar. Clear tubs were lined up in the center of the store with plastic grabbers to pick out your favorite gummie candies that you pay by weight. An ice cream bar was at the rear of the store with stuffed animals against the outer walls. My wife decided on our favorite peach gummies and literally got 7 pieces for $4.60 - Yes, totally insane. These candy shops have become so common all with similar concepts.
