I love this place despite the higher than it should be pricing. But you do expect to pay a bit on the higher end for candies I wont find elsewhere as well as candy mixtures that I know they don't sell other places. The staff is over the top friendly when I am here and even like to sometimes give me their recommendations on what they like, what is new and what people actually don't really buy when they are here. I love finding new candy when I come because it's a great place to grab a couple pieces of something on the off chance my husband or I won't like it. The giant jawbreakers, the size of my hand, always get a good chuckle out of me and I always need to grab some gummy sharks because they have giant ones that are so good to nibble on over a little bit of time. Prices for the grab and fill bag candy are by weight and everything else on the walls or pre-boxed are priced out already. I know kids grab into candies with bare hands but when parents watch it and don't say anything... thats just bad parenting. We went in It Sugar store today and little boy about 2 years old was walking around the candy jars, grabbing with his hands candies and putting in mouth. His mom was watching him and said nothing. After she noticed I saw her boys actions, she went to tell her kid something and then left again. The boy continued eating candies. Some candies fell on the floor, he picked them up and put them back into candy jar! Then he got the candy scooper, started digging for candies and putting in the mouth candy scooper! His mom again said nothing. So I went to talk to the cashier but she didn't seem much bothered. She just asked which candy jar he put the candies from floor in, I showed her and she removed it (I'm guessing put it back after I left). I told her this kid keeps doing it and parents don't care, and the kid touched almost all containers. She didn't seem to bother. So yes, probably not the place to buy candies for your loved ones, unless you are okay with risking them getting sick. Shame on these parents who don't watch their kids, but also shame on store employees who could care more! read more

Bigger than most candy stores and felt fun fun fun as soon as I walked inside. Bought a bag of peach gummies after the lady gave samples. The strawberry crusted marshmallows were so sweet and sticky. They carry gummy bento boxes and gummy flower bouquets along with oversized versions of some of your favorite candies. I like to get their birthday chocolates to go with a gift card for a sweet birthday gift. Not having been in an IT'SUGAR in awhile, I had forgotten what a cool novelty section they have. Super cute candy shop with gag gifts and great mugs! We stopped in here after eating at Tommy Bahama. It was right before closing time! I absolutely adore licorice and sour gummy candy. Being a sugar lover I had to check this place out. To my surprise, this is more than a candy store inside. The store has funny novelty items, socks, stuffed animals, cups, and much more. I had a good time here. The music choice was great and I liked the atmosphere here. I was happy to see candies I had not seen in some time. The type you don't normally see at stores and some from my childhood that put a smile on my face. I also saw some interesting candy bars from Jack Daniels and Captain Morgan that contained alcohol. I didn't know this existed. One of the displays caught my eye. It had some adult humor to it. It was funny and I think this was the perfect place for it. What can I say about this place other then how amazing it was, from the staff to the items they sell. They have so many different things here and the ambiance of the store is so much fun, you'll be laughing at many of the items they have here! The staff was friendly and greeted me as soon as a walked in the store and told us where the bags and scoops for the bag your own candy were scattered around. I grabbed a handful of different candies and found a few that were candies that I have never seen before. These consisted of 3D shaped gummy bears, choclate covered sweedish fish and candy rocks. They price this out by weight and you can get a decent amount of candies as a variety bag for sure! We walked around laughing at other candy, chocolates and gag gifts they had prepackaged. They had a liquid style candy that was wrapped in a cup and it looked like a urine sample. Definitely something that was crazy and interesting! They also sold chocolates that were infused with tequila, whiskey and bailey's. These you need to be 21 or older to purchase. Let's go to the candy store... my inner child was so happy, so many candies, gummies, colors, flavors, 3D sweets, coffee cups, stuffed animals in your favorite candies shapes, socks and much more...We really had fun walking around the store were everyone seemed to be having a great time. This is such a fun store. I love the wide variety of candies they sell. You name it, they have it. I especially like the gummy worm cereal. (My idea of an ideal breakfast) ;) I have come here twice and bought too much candy both times. Some is sold in pre packaged bags and others you can purchase by the 1/4 pound. I like that because if I am not sure I will like a candy, I don't have to commit to buying a whole bag of it. The staff is happy to help. This is a great place to buy goodies for someone who might need a pick me up. This store makes me feel like a kid again. I am able to find all sorts of candy that I used to eat and plenty I have not. The store itself looks incredible--such a cool vibe, especially for my first time visiting a candy store like this! The experience was definitely fun, and the customer service was friendly and helpful. That said, the candy is way overpriced. I expected it to be a few dollars more than usual, but some items were nearly $10 more than expected! And unfortunately, most of the candy, especially the chocolate, tasted VERY low quality. The popping chocolate was especially disappointing--it didn't even have the pop of pop rocks!
