This is a fun candy store that kids of all ages will love. You can buy candy in bulk or individual packages. There are 2 floors so don't forget to go upstairs for more sugary fun. As a manager said to me 'We're not called IT'S HEALTHY'

    Edward C.

Friendly staff and all the candy you can dream of! What's there not to like! Enjoy exploring your favorite! But watch that sweet tooth! Don't over do it! LOL

Pretty cool candy spot for candy lovers. All sorts of candy! you can take a bag and put how ever much you want. We did some sour candies. It's more self serve, so you help yourself to whatever you want.

Alright, alright! This review is long long long long overdue and is dedicated to you, Jim!! Hopefully this post isn't too late to highlight a few reasons why you are amazing! My family and I stopped into IT'SUGAR since we were walking the pier and came across this cute and fun little shop. Seriously?? How can anyone say no to all of this cuteness or to sugar in general??!! This joint is absolutely visit worthy even if it's just to get some really cute pics!! Here you will find all things cute, quirky, and unique. Lucky for me, I came across Jim, who conjured up a bit of conversation. He was friendly, energetic, and I appreciated his honesty when I asked for his input on a few items. Purchases of that day included loose candies sold by weight, a pair of dolphin chopsticks for my toddler, Lil' Nitro [the world's HOTTEST gummy bear], and a sucker that contributed a bit of the cost to Make A Wish foundation. Shout out to Jim who attempted to warn me about that damn gummy bear. Lolz. Lil' Nitro absolutely kicked my butt!! I'm not mad that I tried it but I won't be doing that ever again!! I cringe just thinking about that moment... 5/5 stars. This place is a must!!

Been looking for this for 4 for my family

Very clean very fun sooo much assortment of candies and chocolates My young niece fave candy store ever even if we have one here in SD she prefers this one in SF

I came here on 7/5/25. I thought this place was amazing despite me not being into candy. This place has a lot of products that aren't food such as t-shirts, water bottles, funko pops, and oreo pillows.

This candy store has so much variety of candy. My nephew went crazy and kept grabbing everything off the shelf. They were pretty amazed at the selection choice of candy. It's so hard not to get anything from here. What a cute place to be in with quotes on the walls.

It is sugar overload. Almost all the candy you can think of is represented in this place. I saw some brands that I haven't seen in stores in forever, nice to know they still make them! But it is overwhelming. Not only do they have the candy, it also merchandise like sweaters, pillows, home goods, etc all related to the brands. The pricing is what you would expect it to be for such a niche store and in the tourist hotspot are. It was worth going in once but probable never again.

It'Sugar has any candy you can possibly imagine and even more! Almost 30,000 square feet. 3-floor candy store with thousands of different sweets, some of which I haven't even heard of. The store is very colorful and seems pretty clean. They also sell shirts, socks, mugs, and different kinds of merch. We were approached by the worker right as we walked in. He was very kind and asked if we needed any help. I got myself peanut and brownie M&M's and paid almost 9$, which is a little too expensive in my opinion. Anyway, I definitely recommend you swing by! Even if you don't like candy, it will be interesting just to walk around.

We went on grand opening day, and it wasn't that packed. The staff was amazing, everyone was so friendly. There are 3 floors and they sell so much more than just candy. They have mugs, socks, stuffies, magnets, and so much more. You can buy candy by the pound or buy a container with all you can fit for $16.99. The stuff that's about to expire is 50% off. The store itself I'd really fun. They have funny paintings and signs and it's really colorful.

IT'SUGAR is a 3-story candy store for every sweet tooth out there. It's a fun place to walk around, explore, and reminisce all the childhood candy from the early 1990s to 2000s (there's probably others but I just don't recognize them). They had themed areas like everything skittles or reese's, Pokemon to Harry Potter, and much more. For the Funko Pop collectors out there, there are exclusive pops here. The downside to IT'SUGAR is that it's expensive and obnoxious music on repeat.

Hello Kitty Naruto line... they are sooooo cute!

This place is SUGAR OVERLOAD!!! Wall to wall candy and candy paraphernalia. Located right smack in the middle of Fisherman's Wharf. They have bins of loose candy like Pez, gummy bears, etc. Packaged and boxed candy. Seasonal candy. All kinds of gum. Stuffed Items like the Hello Kitty Naruto line... so cute! Funko Pop figures. Mugs. Clothing items and much more. We got the cutest Hello Kitty ramen bowl and chopsticks set. I even found Pop Rocks which I loved as a kid! Yummers!!! This is a kid's idea of Heaven... lots and lots of different kinds of candy to choose from. Come on in when you're at Fisherman's Wharf... get your sweet tooth ready.

Gotta gift these to your besties!

Even if you don't get any candy, this store is so much fun for everyone. The photo ops, the friendly staff, and all the sugar one can surround herself with! Loved the quirky fun giftable items as well. Well lit and ample space to look around with ease. They also have some interesting international snacks from pickles to cookie/candy wafers. Downside... elevator was out of service and my ankle is still busted. So had to be a trooper and literally climbed those nutritional fact fun stairs to explore the rest of the sugary goodness!

The treats were tasty, but on the pricier side. I believe the pricing reflects the quality of the chocolate used in the products, so to me, the pricing is justified. The outer shell of the canelé had a nice crunch, but the inside actually reminded me of a chocolate brownie, and was less custardy than your typical canelé. Despite not being super traditional, I still really enjoyed the treat. With the chocolate chip cookie, I loved the giant chunks of semi-sweet dark chocolate embedded within it. I appreciate that the cookie itself wasn't overly sweet. With most cookies, I usually can only tolerate having a few bites, or need to have a coffee in hand to enjoy it, but I didn't feel like that was the case here: both treats were delicious. Overall, I would definitely stop by Dandelion Chocolate again if I'm looking for a well-crafted, sweet treat.

I popped in during an evening dog walk & it was game over. Inside, the shop bursts with color, rows of gummies, chocolates, and nostalgic treats that make you feel like you've stepped into a real-life candy playground. The selection is seriously impressive. Think sour watermelon slices, Swedish-style raspberry gummies, cola bottles, peach rings, rainbow belts, giant marshmallow twists, Haribo classics, and even fun themed candies like frogs, sharks, and gummy strawberries. Everything is neatly packaged and easy to browse, which makes it extremely dangerous for anyone prone to impulse snacking. Even my pup tried to "shop" the lower shelves -- apparently the scent of sugar is universally appealing. The staff is as sweet as the inventory. They greeted me right away, offered recommendations, and seemed genuinely excited about their collection.
