This Plaster Fun Time location has not changed much since I last visited when I was around 10. Plaster Fun Time made for one of the best places to have birthday parties for kids, other than Chucky Cheese at the time. I came here with my friend and I's little siblings and decided what the heck, why not paint one myself too? I wanted to try and recreate the spongebob model and ran out of time. I wish they had more paint colors available as they offered a limited selection. You have a couple different glaze options which I thought was cool. Rating this Plaster Fun Time location a 3.5 only because the interior is outdated, a lot of the pre-cupped paints were already used....like it you wanted pink you'll see yellow paint mixed in it from whoever previously used it.... So you're pretty much using used paint and have to dig in the shelf to find one that seems new. Other than that my toddler enjoyed herself, its a pretty quick activity to do with a child. My children enjoy going to plaster fun time. This establishment appeared shabby and the same from previous years. There is a large variety to choose from at various price points. There is also an array of colorful paints to choice from. Some of the pants were chucnky and did not apply well. Others were mixed from previous usage. The vending machine was out of order. There were two staff members present who were friendly and kind. I was informed that because the paint was acrylic it would stain my clothing; I was offered an apron which I appreciated. read more

Be careful going to Plaster Fun Time in Braintree. We had a birthday party booked Oct 3 @ 10:00am in Braintree. We all showed up and it was closed. We waited with 11 kids on the sidewalk for 35 minutes until someone showed up. She could have cared less. No apology. Nothing. Thank God I had a few adults to help me out as we ran the whole party as the girl sat and texted the whole time. When it came time for lunch we asked where the pizza was (we requested when booking the party) she said she "forgot" to order it. So now we have hungry kids who have already finished their painting just hanging around. We did the cake and left not using the full time that we paid for. The place is filthy. I have many photos but the worst was the fridge where the cake should have gone but it was disgusting. No soap in the bathroom. The tables were dirty as well as the sinks where the kids wash their hands. L I am just praying that nobody comes down with Covid-19 because of the unsanitary conditions and no soap for the kids to wash properly. read more

I waited with my daughter for 30 minutes after driving 30 minutes just to be informed there were no walk-ins until 11:30. There was a sign on the door that they were closing at 5 but nothing stating the later walk-in time. It would be helpful if the store managers could post these updates on Facebook to better serve their customers. I was so excited to take my daughter to experience something I loved so much as a younger person (not to mention one of my favorite jobs ever, despite the illegal pay and break policies). I took my nephew to plaster fun time today. I was very disappointed how this whole place smells like freaking marijuana. Even the rest room smells like weed. This is a place for kids and not smoking area. I had to speak up and ask why this place smells like weed! The girls started to sprinkle baking soda . This is not a good place for kids if people are smoking up in here. Never coming back to this place. Just okay. My daughter and I walked in and approached the counter at the middle of the store. I walked to the counter confused since I had not been greeted and there was no clear direction on what to do. The girl at the counter asked, "all set?" .. "no," I answered. "This is our first time, can we have some help?" ... she pointed to the walls and gave us quick directions. My daughter enjoyed painting, they should replace the brushes more frequently they were raggedy and hard to paint with. The place was a bit chaotic and the service was t great. read more

This is such a fun thing to do. Even if you're an adult lol my husband and I just spent five hours there today having a blast and painting our plaster. Such a great activity and so much to choose from. You just pay for your plaster and everything else is included :) read more

I highly recommend you stay away from the business. The service was terrible. I would've asked for the manager, but she was the manager! I left an honest review on FB and the business responded in an attacking manner. Very unprofessional and caused me to come write the same review here. The anger from this manager and/or owner made our visit very uncomfortable after my daughter was upset it was cash only , but we were able to stay because I luckily had cash in my car randomly. Another customer told me about an ATM (not the manager which was odd because she told other women of color about the ATM but not me), but unfortunately not all of us want to pay ATM fees and cash only should be posted to website. What this place offers for kids is a 5 but the experience -5. The two girls working Colleen and Siobhan were very rude. My 2yr old son pulled a balloon string that was attached to another kids artwork and within a millisecond it dropped and of course we were overly sorry as it was an accident and the other parent agreed BUT the staff reaction was so rude and over the top ..They told the other parents it was my son and even announced it to the party . it was completely unprofessional and immature. furthermore they kept making slick remarks about it and I just watched as my kids painted ... They both talk sweet when someone is in front of them then the moment someone walks away they're nasty .... they're very obnoxious and subliminally rude and I'd never come back to this location.... horrible staff read more

It's 2016 and I still go to Plaster Fun Time with my children. We see Tori from time to time and it is great to see people who work for this company get promoted to district manager. Congrats! All of my children have had their birthday parties here. This place offers the most competitive yet affordable rates for children's birthday parties in our area. Every guest get to take home their art work and a balloon! The staff and management are extremely inviting and remember our names after one visit. The facility is spotless and they are constantly cleaning as they go. I appreciate the professionalism and atmosphere. The employees are always attentive to my family's needs and manage to do work while facilitating their store with ease. We go during the week and sometimes during the weekend with the whole family. We have visited with friends and they are all impressed. We are never rushed and given proper attention that makes our business feel valued. I love this place and you may just catch us on a weekday if you go. read more

My boyfriend and I went to Plaster Fun Time and we didn't get to finish our pieces because it was closing time and the lovely staff told us that we could come back free of charge to finish whenever we pleased and she stamped the pieces we were working on just to make sure we wouldn't get questioned the next time we came back and we just went back today to finish and she was there and helped us and even remembered us ! She was a wonderful help and I am glad we were there when she was! Her name is Alix and she is a wonderful help. Great place for a play date! Our six year old girls go to the same school wanted to have a play date. We met here and the girls had so much fun they didn't want to leave. Christina waited on us and you can tell she loves her job. She made the girls and every person that walked through the door feel special. Today, May 20th 2018 my niece had a birthday party at your establishment and I was very displeased with the party hostess Siobhan. She had very little patience when dealing with the children and was very disrespectful towards them. My son loved it. But it depends on the coordinator. One woman was extremely funny and knowledgeable and this other guy was creepy in a grandpa daddy sort of way. I would take my son back again because he loves it bit I won't be too far away. read more
