Being charged $29 for an espresso martini, and 29 for a mule served in a plastic cup with no garnishes was pretty outrageous and definitely took us by surprise. I understand now when I put my apron on and found 3 empty nips in the pocket why this happened. Clearly the person that wore it before me had been before and paid too much! Overall, the painting experience and staff were great, just would wait next time and get a drink at the capital grill for the same price after.

Then,we shifted to the Irish American Club where the reception will be. Gelyn and her crew were there preparing everything. They did the decorations, the DJ services and the catering. This is aside from coordinating everything. As to the catering, she has a crew for it and the food was awesome. I rented 30 folding chairs recently for my son's 1st birthday party. Reserving the chairs was a…read morebreeze and they were great to work with and the price couldn't be beat, although I wish they were open on the weekends for pickup & returns. Upon pickup, two guys brought the chairs directly to my car and loaded them in. The reason 2 stars is the quality of the chairs. Most of them had a substantial amount of rust on the metal legs, one chair was completely missing one of the legs, and I found 2 or 3 chairs with cracks in the plastic. One chair even had gum stuck to the bottom. I rented chairs from a since-closed competitor last year and they were in pristine condition. I wouldn't order from Atent for Rent again & in the future will spend the extra money to get a better quality chair elsewhere.

Darth stayed in character and kept the party flowing smoothly. He had a great sense of humor, so much so that the adults said he was the best part of the party. The kids were thrilled! Ages ranged from 5-12 and ALL had huge smiles on their faces while he was there. He did some Jedi training, posed for pictures, and sat with the birthday boy while he blew out his candles. I worked with Paula to make the arrangements and she was extremely helpful and responsive. She also followed up with me right after the party to see how it went. This was so much fun I may do it again for the next adult milestone party I plan!

He was really easy to get a hold of, made great suggestions for wedding day timeline, and worked really well with the other vendors at our wedding (all booked independently). This guy is calm, cool and collected. No cheesiness DJ here. He helped to direct the show on day of and all music was timed perfectly from our ceremony (pretty far on from the reception at our venue) and making sure that we stayed on track throughout the night. He stuck to his promise and didn't play any requests on my "no" list: no chicken dance, line dancing or Boys 2 Men. I had several friends approach me just to comment on him that he was so much fun. We spoke the week before the wedding and he was very consultative with feeling out the guests/crowd. He offered to put together some games or more activities to keep everyone entertained if needed.
