I have two elderly parents and it's flu season. My mom had a cough and a bad, days-long headache. She was fed up with having to take Tylenol for her headache (she hates meds) and my dad was convinced she wasn't drinking enough water. I know the importance of hydration as I've seen it can make a HUGE difference before. My mom was miserable. I prayed about it and God reminded me of these type of mobile hydration businesses. Perfect! My mom was all for it. BUT I first tried to get the drip people out but that didn't work out, which was very disappointing. But IV lift was so awesome and accommodating and scheduled us in that day just as quick as they could make it. They asked on the phone if it was just for one person and I said yes. But when I hung up I thought, why doesn't my dad get it too- he could use it too! I text and asked if that was OK, and they were very accommodating there too, I didn't know who to expect, and remember, they are coming into my home and going to poke my parents with needles, so that's kind of important. I was happy to see two clean cut professionals in spotless uniforms coming in with modern, clean equipment. The two nurse/technicians were cheerful, helpful and very skilled. They got my parents' veins quickly, which is awesome since my poor mom has seen many a poor poke before. The IVs were very reasonably priced, the trip fee ($200) was kinda hard but hey, two professionals coming to you in your living room... it is totally reasonable when you think of it that way. Plus, since they were coming anyway, the second "patient" didn't get charged that fee. We are very pleased with the RESULTS of the IV hydration as well. My mom bounced right up and started puttering around, her massive headache left and she had energy she hadn't had. And it seemed to give my dad an immunity boost as well! Nurse Lisa was the absolute best! Arrived in San Diego with a very sick sister who didn't hold up to our long flight. Saw the van on the way to the hotel and called them. This was the best service I have ever received. We hired Ivy lift for a bachelorette party in San Diego and it was the best decision we ever made. They were on time and they completed five or six girls with under an hour and we all felt so much better after. Not only did they give us IVs and help us to be able to continue on our trip feeling good, but they also offered to drive us to our brunch location including bringing all of our luggage. It was so helpful as we are not from the city and did not know where we were going. It's little things like this that really make a company stand out. IV lift came to my rescue today! I was feeling tired and hungover and had a 100.5 fever after celebrating a holiday party. If I could give these ladies 10 stars I would! Called them on a Saturday afternoon for a friend struggling with a gnarly hangover (nausea, vomiting, dizziness, aka close to death) and they quickly gave me their location and informed us where to park. The mobile office is clean, well organized, and very professional looking! The ladies were incredibly friendly, funny, and personable! The doctor on site quickly went to work assessing my friend's needs, got him hooked up to some IV fluids (they have a package specially for hangovers), and within 45 minutes he was feeling 100% better!
