What in great find!! First off, I'm from the Bay Area - where you would expect businesses like this to be in- but this is the first of its kind that I've seen!! Visiting La Jolla my friends and I decided to look into some wellness offerings after a Pilates class. We found LivKraft and they offered the services we wanted. We opted for a cold plunge, sauna and red light experience (there was a red light panel in the sauna). The room accommodated both is us. Walking in the vibe was calm, aesthetic and inviting. The room we were in had everything we needed and then some. Everything was clean and set up for use. Instructions are on the wall, so we didn't need to ask for much during our time. We opted for a 50 minute session and it was perfect for the both of us. For two people, including tax and tip it came out to about $117. Highly recommend this place!! I was gifted two day passes for a gift. I used one and had a nice experience. The day pass included : 1 WHOLE BODY CRYO 1 LOCAL/FACIAL CRYO 1 INFRARED SAUNA 1 NORMATEC 1 RED LIGHT FACIAL/LOCAL 1 WHOLE BODY RED LIGHT 1 FLOAT 1 PEMF The cryo was a first time for me and the person who assisted me was patient and helpful. The float session (also a first for me at time) was unique and serene. The rest of the package was ok. I recently tried to use the 2nd pass and have been unable to get a call back to schedule. The phone line is automated so a generic text is sent asking what you're calling for. There isn't a live response so any info I texted was not helpful as they're saying they can't find my info. I've emailed and also tried to use their chat feature online. My day pass is still active on their booking system so maybe they are choosing not to honor it. Parking is tough if you have a day pass as you'll have to go back out to re park your car (for street hours parking limitations). I'm not sure if the business is struggling but hopefully they can respond to customers. read more

The Iv area has great light and is peaceful to sit for a couple hours and work while you have your treatment. While it is unsuprising and perhaps appreciated by some, that they sell ph water, however, you cannot get water from the tap. They have zero cups. I visited LIVKRAFT in June of 2023. I had been recently struggling with inflammation and bloating and I wanted to try the whole body cryotherapy. When I booked the appointment over the phone the reception was really nice and explained the benefits of this appointment. On the day of the appointment I was helped by Shelby and she did an astounding job of walking me through the steps and what to expect during this appointment. I was a bit nervous because you have to get into a chamber but she was patient with me while I calmed my nerves and told me she'd be right outside so if at any point I wanted to exit I could. While in the chamber it does get a "bit" cold but I expected that and stayed the duration of allotted time inside. I instantly felt bloat relief and in the days to come unnoticed less flare ups of inflammation. They have a great amount of selection for a wellness spa including (PEMP) pulsed electromagnetic field. Pure relaxation. I had the most amazing experience at Livkraft. This facility is so clean and modern. Being in a comfortable environment is so important and this place is pristine. There are many different rooms to receive treatments in and each is very nice. I enjoyed a cryo facial, normatec and sauna. This was my first experience with cryo, so a facial was definitely an ease in. It's a cold blast to the face for 7 mins. I can't imagine doing the whole body but am hoping to try that soon. The Normatec was a dream and I loved it so much!! They are leg boots that provide ongoing pressure and massaging. The Normatec room has reclining chairs and a tv. It was so relaxing. I wish I could do this every day. Last, I enjoyed the infrared sauna. This was the nicest infrared that I'd been to in San Diego. It had a digital screen with calm meditation app, Hulu, Netflix and Spotify. They had different types of experiences as well such as detoxify, weight loss and anti aging. You can also change your light color and there's a card to tell you about what benefits they each have. There are showers in the room that allow you to get cleaned up after as well. What more perfect way to end a workday and unwind than to stop into Livkraft for an afternoon of relaxation. Street parking can be found on Kline up to two hours from 8-6p, while parking on Faye gives you an hour and parking on Drury Ln gives you 90 minutes. Livkraft is right off the corner of Klein and Faye adjacent to The Cottage. I was warmly greeted by Jeremy up front and soon met Jenny who gave me a tour of the entire place including both of the infrared sauna rooms, the two float rooms, the whole body cryo, facial cryo, normatec compression room and a couple other rooms for body work. I started with the cryo facial. Jenny gave me some earmuffs, I laid in a reclining chair and closed my eyes. What followed was amazing. Your skin is cooled and its temperature constantly measured and you feel a concentrated stream of ultra-cold air gliding across your face while soothing green and blue lights alternate through your eyelids. It's a great feeling, specially on your forehead, cheeks and jawline as your skin is rapidly cooled and returns back to normothermia. It's 15 minutes of pure bliss. Next came the normatec compression sleeves. There's a room with four chairs and four sets of sleeves and a TV outfitted with Apple TV so you can watch a show while you enjoy 45 minutes of relaxing compression working up your feet to your thighs. Shoes and socks come off, the sleeves go on and off they go alternating compression patterns. Finally, the float therapy. It's a room with a shower and a big white pod that houses a thousand pounds of salt and water that suspends you as you lay effortlessly floating either in the dark or with ambient lighting. I opted for 15 minutes of guided meditation and music for the rest of the time. If you haven't tried float therapy, YOU HAVE TO TRY IT HERE. It's the most relaxing experience I've had thus far. It's so relaxing I felt like I lost track of where my limbs were and the music is so soothing that I knocked out! Don't worry, though. Your face stays above water the entire time. The salt keeps your head up but they give you a halo floater in case you need the extra support. The overhead lights automatically turn off after 5 minutes and are motion-sensored but you have the option to have the ambient blue light on or off inside the pod. I opted for complete darkness and glad I did. I'd easily recommend all these services as they're all worth a try. I've tried most of their facilities and was impressed with their offerings. Something that can automatically locate my pain points and can take action to improve? Yes please! Red light therapy? Check! I also did cyrotherapy for the first time and Jenny made it super comfortable. She put on my favorite song and danced with me to help pass the time. She is so sweet. My absolute favorite is Ui, the masseuse, who has previously toured with Olympians and musicians. I like a really firm massage, and she nails it every time. I love this place! Livkraft is the answer to anyone who wants to relieve stress from a busy active life and heal the body. I visited here for the first time not knowing what to expect and was completely impressed with everything from the services to the facilities. I chose to do the infrared sauna, the salt float pod, and the full body cryotherapy session for 3 full minutes.I started with the cryotherapy figuring I would be able to warm up afterward. You put your little gloves and slippers and mask on and you happen to what looks like a giant refrigerator. They play music for you while you freeze ha ha my pod went down to -172°F air temperature. It feels really cold but it is tolerable for the amount of time that you are in there. There is a screen where you can monitor your time and the temperature and I started with the cryotherapy figuring I would be able to warm up afterward. You put your little gloves and slippers and mask on and you hop into what looks like a giant refrigerator. They play music for you while you freeze ha ha my pod went down to -172°F air temperature. Going into the infrared sauna felt amazing afterwards. The nice thing about infrared is that the air temperature is not as hot as a regular sauna. You can bring your phone in there and it is very relaxing. The wood that the sauna is made of smells really nice and music is playing well soft colorful lights dance above. My final treatment was the salt floatation pod. A pod that looks like a been sliced in half is what you enter into which contains a bath of Epsom salt. You have no choice but to float because there is so much salt with in the water. You can either listen to music or meditate. They have colorful lights inside the pod as well. I left Livkraft feeling like a complete jellyfish renewed view on life. My body felt rejuvenated. I would recommend buying a monthly subscription which includes any or all of the treatments. You can buy packages of the same treatment or combination packages for a monthly fee. I'm so glad I decided to try this and will definitely be back and recommend to others. read more

I visited Livkraft for a full day of treatments recently. I had a Norma tech leg compression treatment, an IV treatment, fire and ice facial and immersion in the float tank. The entire experience was amazing and I can't wait to go back. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. All the facilities were incredibly clean and up-to-date in terms of technology. At the end of the day, I felt more relaxed than I have been in a long time. The results of the facial were impressive. My skin was tight and smooth for at least a week. I went to LIVKRAFT for the first time due to an injury playing sports. This is the first time I have gone to a spa like this and I was not sure about it. The first thing when I arrived I was greeted and the staff were so nice and helpful that I was put at ease and was educated on all services they provide. The doctor I saw there was very helpful and reviewed what had happened and reviewed my medical history and suggested different treatments. I have to say I was fully recovered very quickly and now I go there for maintenance for my muscles and joints and use all of the treatments that they offer.
