Every time I go here I always leave with sore and bloody cuticles that are painful. It took me some time to leave this review but it's absolutely necessary to protect the public. I booked a Russian pedicure with Solimar on April 5, 2024 at 9:00am. She was about 15 minutes late. For those unfamiliar, a Russian pedicure is a dry pedicure. I just got a REAL Russian pedicure and realized I wasn't supposed to be subjected to so much pain and discomfort like I was at Ivania's. This tech was easily the sloppiest nail tech I've ever had. I was in a pinch and needed my nails done, that's why I didn't walk out. As a massage therapist, the first thing I noticed was this person did not wash her hands, at least not in a way that made it obvious that her hands were clean. Maybe she did so in the back somewhere I couldn't see, we'll give her the benefit of the doubt. OH BUT HER NAILS ARE LONG STILETTOS. That's why she couldn't wear gloves either. #prioridades Remember I said she was 15 minutes late? By 9:29am I already had at least two cuts along the cuticle as shown in the attached screenshot. By the time I ended the pedicure, 4 out of 10 toes had a cut. I can't imagine how my business would be if I hurt 40% of my client's body during my services. What else should I mention? Of course she dropped a tool on the floor then picked it up and continued the service without cleaning her hands. Once a slob, always a slob, I guess. PLEASE go somewhere else. Again, I was desperate and NEEDED the nails done so I was tolerant despite the pain but I tipped accordingly. I really want to be understanding of people, but not when people take advantage of clients like this tech did. You don't even get a massage chair, the pedicure chair is literally a 90° cushion attached to the wall. This is not a place you come to relax. The last part of this review is pertaining to the scrub part. Here's a lesson for anyone working there. Anatomically the thickest skin on the body is on the SOLES of the feet and the palms of the hands. This woman got into a vigorous rhythm rubbing the top of my foot while having a conversation with another employee. At that point I finally had to stop her because she had already had hurt me so much during the entire appointment that I could not tolerate any more. If you want to suffer and be treated like trash, please come here. 1 star. read more

1) My nail turned green. This happened last year and they handle things. I went back and the girl Barbie cut all the green part. And I had barely anything left. no nail. They didn't even offer a solution nor they told me they will fix my manicure when it gets better. Nothing. I didn't come back after that. But the new nail tech I got told me that happens when they don't seal the acrylic properly mold starts growing. It was a fresh set as you can see so it wasn't because it was old. It shouldn't be lifting so soon. 2) I'm back here. Very last minute mani and pedi. my pedicure started lifting 4 hours after. I got back from my trip and I had the same girl fix the issue. I paid $50!!! Not $35. NO. $50 for a mediocre job. She did it in like 10 minutes. (Both times) Even when I got to cheaper places they take their time doing everything a pedicure requires. On multiple accounts I had to wait 30-35-45 min there when I pre book 2-3 appointments ahead and they are aware I'm extremely on time They don't respect your time, your driving to them or the money you bring to them Calling you 20 min before your appointment to tell you they gonna push it further when you r living 45 min away and already there Would not refund the deposit when they r at total fail with their customer service, forced to go there so I won't lose the deposit. read more

May be my new nail place , considering most nail salons are closed on Mondays. I didn't know that was a thing. However I stumbled upon this salon and I loved how they did my nails! They used Methods I've never seen before and had the shape on point. They really take their time doing your nails which I loved! Only thing I would say is that they do not have massage chairs when doing pedicures that section is kind of a weird setup but it's nice as a boutique nail salon. Will be coming back! read more

Best manicure I've ever received!!!! I've been doing my nails for the longest time (at least 8 years) and this place is top of the line!!! The ladies are so talented. My manicure was so much fun! I definitely recommend going to Lula. She is amazing. They had fun music going and it was a great time. Can't wait for my next appointment. I really didn't like the pedicure experience. I had a different lady for my pedicure. They use a nail file for everything including buffing the nail and it felt way too rough on my nail. It even hurt the skin around my toe. It came out beautiful looking but it was an uncomfortable experience. read more

Okay first of all, this place is a total VIBE. Went there for the first time today and let me just say I was so impressed. It has the cutest atmosphere, I was able to sip on a glass of champagne as I enjoyed my jelly pedi with Scarleth and before that Yanet KILLED my full set. I almost didn't even want her to put a design because the build was so perfect. The shape... THE SHAPE was incredible. Ive been getting my nails done since I was a teen so I'm picky and loyal. By far one of my favorite Nail salons ever since they have opened up I have been coming to this location. If you want quality lasting work this is the place to go to! All the ladies are excellent at doing nails. Yanet is my go to. She does beautiful acrylic nails but not only she always is so positive, vibrant and cheerful. Every time I come here it's always great vibes and Yanet always has me laughing. Erianna does an amazing pedicure and is always so sweet. I usually get the glitter/sugar colors for pedicure. Barbie does not have the technical skill or the people's skills to be working in this salon. I was very specific with what I wanted and I had pictures to back it up. She was extremely rude and stopped in the middle of my service to check her phone multiple times. Finally when my nails were too far gone and 2 hours had passed another technician stepped in to finish her mess. Barbie was extremely rude about HER mistakes telling me that the reason they were messed up was because of my failure to properly explained and made sure I knew that it was not from her technique. I am left with uneven and blurry French lines and the tips where she had to repair the smudged white and it is obvious. I will not be returning to this salon. read more

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. I literally never post reviews but my experience here was so awful I have to share. I watched them use the SAME pedicure tools on two different girls I also heard them speaking really badly and offensively about an African-American girls hair in Spanish then proceed to charge her more for the same service I got (gel French). I did not say anything because I hate confrontation but that's why I am posting this. The manicure I got chipped within hours. Leading me to believe these girls aren't even certified. Especially they way and order they were doing things. All the nice nail pictures that are in these reviews, I found on the Instagram and Pinterest so they are making people leave fake good reviews with stolen pictures. Decided to try this place out I came across them on IG and thought "wow they do great nails". At the moment due to the damage on my nails from getting them done too much I am stepping away from Gel and dip til they get better. Before booking anything I texted with someone that told me they do not do regular nails only Gel. I said fine I'll just look else where but then I received a text moments later saying that their boss will allow me to get regular nails. I said wow cool let me book it. So I did & sent a $25 deposit. I get there 10 mins before my time & I wasn't attended til 25mins after. When the girl is starting my nails she wasn't aware of my situation and thank god I didn't delete the message I had when booking the appointment. I had to show 2 different ladies the proof of the conversation that said I can get regular but I had limited options of nail polish to choose from. I was fine with that. The only one who knows how to do nails is the owner ivania the other good nails techs only last in this salon about a month (Yanet was good she left Scarlett was good she left) and the rest are inexperienced and do poor jobs. I love this place! First things first, the owner and all of the staff members are extremely kind and talented! (So feel at ease when choosing literally ANY of the staff members, none will disappoint.) I love that the environment is all Women, and speaking of the environment, the aesthetic of the place is very feminine & beautiful which is a nice plus. They offer a lot of great services and the quality of work is worth every cent. You get what you pay for, and it shows because your sets/ pedi are gonna LAST. My pedi's never chip, and my acrylics last enough for me to do a few refills before I have to do another full set. They'll tell you straight up when you actually need a new full set or just a refill, never trying to finesse you. Conveniently right next to a lil food spot incase you're hungry or need parking, and they even have champagne on deck. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY I set an appointment for a gel pedicure $45 and upon arriving was treated poorly. The owner "ivania" tells one of her nail techs to start my pedicure. In Spanish they are discussing how the pedicures aren't her job or her specialty, but that she could figure it out. This girl proceeds to fill up the tub with water without putting the protective plastic layer until I mention it. Then she starts to cut my cuticles and use the pumice stone on my feet without ever soaping or brushing my feet. In Spanish she continues to say "this is making me sick to my stomach." Not thinking I could understand her because I'm afro-Latina. I then asked the girl to stop the pedicure because it's clear she doesn't know what she's doing and that I do in fact know what they were saying to each other in Spanish. The owner had originally tried charging me $15 extra to do a French, but when I asked another tech she told me it's only $5. Once I confronted the owner for trying to scam me she says it was a "mistake" and she "forgot" the price. As I'm gathering my things to go to another location. Ivania THE OWNER says "we know your kind they like to get service for free don't worry we don't want your kind in our salon anyways". Take it how you want it but I think we all know what that means. Took my girlfriend here as a surprise and we were extremely disappointed with their sanitation procedures (if they follow any at all) especially during this COVID-19 Pandemic.
