Horrible experience at Jivana. In the middle of my service, manager Omar demanded I pay before the service was completed. I told him I will pay after the service is done, and he demanded I pay before my pedicure was finished. I payed for unfinished toes, and as I'm leaving they called the police on me. What was supposed to be a relaxing experience was, turned into a nightmare. He escalated the situation, and all the staff were complacent, one even blocking me from exiting after I payed them money. Payment comes after the service is provided, because I wanted to wait till I saw the final product. The police got called on me, and in this day and age that's nothing to play around with; Especially because I payed for my unfinished toes. This was my first visit to this salon, and unfortunately it was one of the most uncomfortable service experiences I have ever had. The gentleman who did my nails was excellent -- professional, skilled, and kind. However, the employee who performed my pedicure was extremely aggressive and unprofessional. From the moment I sat down, there was no greeting and no explanation of services. He placed the menu on my lap without asking which pedicure I wanted and proceeded without confirmation. When I declined glue for a small nail split -- calmly stating money was not the issue -- his demeanor immediately changed. His tone became confrontational and hostile. When I asked for the employee at the front to come over, he raised his voice and accused me of "not liking him" based on how I was looking. I had just finished four consecutive 11-hour shifts as a retail pharmacy manager and was simply exhausted -- not disrespectful. The situation escalated when I removed a towel from my legs and he forcefully threw it back onto me. When I removed it again, he threw it into the foot bowl in an aggressive manner. He continued speaking to me in an aggressive tone even after walking away and returning. As a woman sitting alone in that chair, I felt intimidated and genuinely unsafe. I have never experienced a grown man behave that aggressively toward me in a professional environment. Despite not completing a full pedicure and never confirming which service I selected, I was still charged for a full service. This was not a minor customer service issue -- it was hostile and intimidating behavior. No client should ever feel unsafe during a service. I hope management takes this seriously so no other customer has a similar experience. read more

I was in a rush to get my nails done and couldn't go to my regular place, I was hesitant to try this place due to the reviews, however, they accepted walk-ins so I decided to try it anyway.The guy that did my nails was super friendly and appeared to know what he was doing. However, by the next day, my nails look more like it's been a week (see photos). On the other hand, the guy that did my pedicure wasn't very friendly but did an ok job with my feet. Was in the area and needed a pedicure. Stopped in for a pedicure and decided on an eyebrow wax as well. I was quickly seated which was nice and got to choose which pedicure I wanted from the listed options. I chose the basic with regular polish. The place was quiet, not many customers but also I went in the middle of the day on a Monday. It was nice. The gentleman was very gentle yet productive with my pedicure. My feet felt smooth afterwards and he took his time. Someone else took over at the end and polished my toes. I personally didn't mind, I feel like everyone has their strong points. He may not have been confident with polishing and that's ok! I actually respect that more than getting polish everyone except my nail lol I would show my finished pedicure but my feet are hideous (thanks dad )- not going to do that to you lol but despite the canvas given they did a good paint job. The woman who did my eyebrow wax was super quick. She was gentle and she actually apologized before she ripped off the wax strip which was cute lol. Waxing is not the most comfortable feeling in the world and I thought it was nice of her to acknowledge that. But hey, no pain no gain right ? Overall pretty nice experience nothing to rave about but also nothing negative to say. 5 stars from me as I received the services I desired..... So I had came out to Florida on vacation and had came to this nail salon cause I saw the reviews but boy did I regret coming here like I really did, I had told they nail tech that I possibly maybe had an ingrown toe nail and that if she knew how to take it out and she said yes but in the end she didn't all she did was cause me an infection and a lot of pain that I had to return to them and show them what she had done, and they second nail tech that so pose knew how to help me ease my pain and toe infection made me be more In pain and bleed a lot that I could not take the pain and had her stop and she was digging so hard into my big toe nail bed that my big toe was bleeding bad a lot of other clients were like what is that lady doing to her that don't seem right, to the point that I just stood up on my bloody toe and walked out and went to an ER cause my toe nail pain was to much well come to find out the lady had cut into my toe nail bed and dug deeper they ingrown toe nail that I was going to have go see a specialist podiatrist in Las Vegas were I am from. this has been such a bad experience for me that i have taken some time off from pedicures due to this experience to make matters worse this nail salon did not even offer to refund to me for the pain and suffering I had gone through due to their nail tech had caused me that day in January 2024 of this year they had just let me walk out without any concern for me or my well being knowing I was from out of town too. I've wanted to try this place for a while and i finally gave in and came before going out of town. I have to admit they are very efficient in time. The minute I came in I was sat in a chair and 2 people came and started working on me. One guy did my feet while one worked on my hands. I noticed this is how they work because everyone was getting 2 treatments at the same time. I was in and out in about 30-45 mins. By far the quickest gel mani and pedi I've ever had. On that note, it's hard to relax during a pedicure because there's someone over you doing your hands and honestly a lot of the time you go to a nail place yes it's to get your nails done but I also enjoy the experience of feeling pampered and relaxed and that was not the case here. I was not relaxed at all I felt like it was a race on who can go the fastest the manicure or pedicure. Another thing was, my pedicure included a hot towel. He waited until he was polishing my toes to grab the towel, throw it on top of my legs and taking it off 30 seconds later... When I got to the car I noticed my nail polish had air bubbles and ridges. He was rushing so he really didn't do a good job. To make things worse, my nails are already chipped. I got a manicure on Friday and on Saturday my first nail had chipped and the ones that aren't chipped are lifting. I don't understand why it was done in such a rush because to be honest it was not packed at all. Also, the shop is nice and renovated on the inside and it's big and spacious which is why the prices are the way they are but it's not really worth it if my nails are a disaster 3 days later. I wish I could give zero stars.. I spoke with a woman at the front desk (who I now know is the owner) and first asked if they had someone with knowledge on structured manicures. She assured me that they did and quickly sat me with an older woman who proceeded to do my prior structured mani removal and manicure prep. I asked repeatedly if the woman could do structured, if she could do the design pictured and requested to keep my square/oval shape. She assured me and continued to proceed with services. The woman cut my nails to be ovular/cateye, did not do any steps with semblance to a structured manicure AT ALL and instead used multiple clear layers and then gel polish. Then when attempting the design, her French lines were inconsistent, and she could not properly place the thinner glitter line. I had to get the owners attention and request that someone more capable complete the design. The polish on the tips is even chipping and it's only been a day. Overall, the work was haphazard and the owner was "so gracious" in giving me a 5 dollar discount for services that were fully wrong. I do not recommend this place at all, seek an alternative! read more

But honestly, not too bad either so I decided to go in for a gel Mani. I am very happy I did. I really liked the space, from other reviews I gather it's been more recently renovated. I wish the nail tables were opposit, ie: when getting your nails done you could face out instead of into the salon. Or even facing each other so you could face into or out of the salon, no big deal. My technician was fast, efficient, thorough, and my nails came out beautifully. Parking is plentiful, I walked in without an appt and did not have to wait for a technician. Lisha is Vietnamese and owns this location which is 1 of 4 nail salons. The business has seen so many nail technicians come and go. I've seen this location expand and the amenities, chairs and services improve over the years. Out of the many times I've been here I have been unhappy once. Generally however I'm always happy. They follow universal standard precautions in hygiene and I've never had any issues. BLAH BLAH BLAH. What makes this nail salon different from ALL the others. Overall the salon is nice and seems clean, I liked that they worked on my nails and toes at the same time since it saved me time but when I got home I noticed that they only painted 9 toes not 10 , hello?? In addition, when they cut my cuticles they cut really deep and my figure still hurts 3 days later. Used to come in this place. Have been for the past 3 years. Quite recently however they have been on a downward spiral. I go for a gel mani and pedi and am first presented with a lady who doesn't speak a lick of English and then proceeds to BURN. My nail and I give her a look like wtf?! She stands up and I guess tells the receptionist she doesn't want me anymore then starts working on someone else right in front of me! How rude! The nail tech didn't put my feet to soak for pedi but rather dipped in cool water after he tried to cut my cuticles as is. It hurt while he was cutting but I didn't make a big deal. When I got home I realized that it was more than just a little cut. Under each of my 3 toes there's cuts that really hurt. Although the nails look good, that's too much pain to do again. I told him I wanted them natural looking and not thick and fake looking with the gel that I would be back if they looked natural in 2 wks and boy did he deliver and then some! Wow amazing, natural efficient and quick! Love that they're open on Sundays! Seriously best looking acrylics gel polish I've had! The color is for Halloween!
