What a nightmare! They cut my friend on her thumb and was bleeding. Her pedicure was lumpy. I had a great experience with jay who did my manicure. So I felt bad when my friend had a bad experience. This is by far the most consistent nail salon I have ever been to! I have used at least 5 of their nail techs by now and all were super talented and have a keen eye for detail. The place recently went through a beautiful remodel and is always very clean. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable and he informed me of the facial services they offer too... Amazing isn't good enough for my pedicure experience it was nirvana! My feet were in bad shape. I came in from a previous experience of a regular pedi and it was a great experience but this time I went to use the restroom and walked towards the back when I stumbled upon this cozy dark area with 2 leather recliner beds. I asked what are these and the answer was for the top pedicure they offer $95. I was sold, I started reclining back on this super soft leather like bed/chair, then the put a satin mask over my eyes and offered me any drink, I took ice water, the pedicure began and I started to doze off I remember lava rock massage up and down my leg, warm paragin, I knocked out and when I awoke my toes were perfectly painted! I dozed off for 1.5 hrs!!!!! My feet are buttery smooth! I came home and told everybody they gotta try this!!! Best massage pedi nap! read more

NEVER in my whole life living in Miami have I ever paid that much for 2 gel mani+pedis! the nail technicians did a great job but this place is soo expensive! Wow! I have traveled all over the United States and where I'm from they say everything is better and bigger in Texas; well not this time!!! Nailspa Miami has knocked my self care time OUT OF THE PARK!!! Not only was the Salon CLEAN; The services provided were by far the most amazing I have ever had. I got a pedicure laying down, eyes covered and relaxing. Helen has the best hands for the job!!! She was gentle and kind! My Nail Tech Jay (Quan) is talented!!! He made sure my nails were perfect!!! Came here as a paying customer with my wife. My last review was flagged because the owner had his ego hurt. Answering with massive paragraphs like a psychopath. I paid for my wife's nails and they DAMAGED her nails. We came back and wasted half the day in traffic so they could correct their mistake. He gave her attitude and wouldn't refund her. This place and the owner have zero business experience or customer service skills. Yelp taking down bad reviews because of his fragile ego is unconstitutional. To the owner who obviously cannot take criticism like an adult or a business owner, please learn to accept that the world doesn't revolve around you and your ego. After coming two weeks ago and seeing my gel mani and regular pedi hold up, I decided to return to test my luck. I had Reina do my nails and it was her first day there. I was a little bit skeptical, but wow, she did an amazing job! $81 for a gel mani (plus remove my current gel) and a regular pedi, funny bunny polish. I just want to start off with the owner was exceptional and on time with scheduling me quickly snd I got scheduled with Jackson let me just say the service was quick I had my full set done in an hour and half and it was the most smoothest application and sit down the nail tech was so sweet and nice, asked me questions on if I wanted. The length shorter definitely left me with some new recommendations on how to with my nails and it was super enlightening because I didn't know there where so many different options for the type of nail bed. This place is highway robbery.. I guess they are new business owners and they are doing renovations so they up charge to be able to afford their upgrades.. my nail tech was great.. my daughter's nail tech did a great job, however, my daughter came in with almond shaped nails.. and rounded toes ... we were charged $14 extra because they have to reshape.. the owner had no idea how to answer my question, rather he kept going around in circles saying it's an up charge for reshaping.. isn't that standard service when getting a pedi/ mani for filing? I paid $340 for service that I could've received else where and at a much better price. Overcharged is an understatement.. this place is a joke! I hope you really reconsider when considering getting service here. Additionally, they charge 3% to use a credit card. Another way to fund their upgrades in the facility. This place will NEVER get another penny from me. read more

I have never had such a bad experience. The polish was all over my fingers, unevenly applied. A 5 year old would have done a better job. After 1.5 hours (for a ONLY gel manicure) I just asked the tech to remove it. Leaving with cuts on my cuticles thin fragile nails looking worse than when I came in. I'm at a loss for words. Just wow. New owners BTW. Maybe this is why? Had never this experienced this here before. read more

I am defenetely going back and I agree with most of you that the place is clean, estiticians are very professional, and they truly care about your requested during the service. I am extremely picky and detailed oriented. I observe how they clean and disefect each station after each job, and how they use a new kit with new client, and mostly do an impeccable job with dark colors. Jennie did mine and quite honestly she didn't even have to clean around my nails when she was done painting. Once again, I'm extremely picky, and her job was flawless. I appreciated that she listened. Some salons rush you through only to hurt your damaged area more. Tina did not do that. Even though I had a request to remove acrylic nails and that's not a typical service she does, she accommodated my request. She was aware and cautious not to over manipulate or even accidentally apply product to a damaged nail that I arrived with. She showed that damaged nail extra love by applying an antibiotic cream & bandaging it! She was thorough and hospitable. She also worked fast to remove my acrylic nails even though it was not a well done job by the previous nail technician. She expressed that she didn't want to waste my time. From start to finish, I was in & out of her salon in 1.5 hours. For 2 services, I'd say that's great! She even had her staff prepare a Turkish coffee for me when I asked about it and she restored my damaged nails back to health. Thank you Tina!! I'll be coming back.

I came in with Gel-X nails and was told they needed to remove the entire set before doing my nails. During the removal process, the nail tech completely tore up my natural nail beds. She was so rough that one of my nails was literally BLEEDING after being ripped away from the nail bed. She also cut my cuticles terribly, leaving them sore and looking awful. Unfortunately, it only got worse from there. When she applied the new nails, several were visibly SIDEWAYS. I pointed this out and asked her to fix them, and she told me she would file them straight afterward. They still were not straight. The extensions also weren't placed close enough to my nail bed, leaving a visible line/gap that she then attempted to paint over instead of correcting. Throughout the appointment, I kept pointing out things that were wrong and asking her to fix them, but nothing was actually being corrected. Eventually, I was so frustrated and upset that I told her to just take them off because I could already see how badly they were turning out. I specifically explained that I WORK ON CAMERA selling diamonds, so my hands and nails are shown CLOSE-UP on camera for my job. Having my nails look clean and professional isn't just a preference for me - I literally need my hands to be presentable for work. I had to go to work after this appointment, which made the entire situation even more upsetting. Then, after all of this, they still expected me to pay. I told them I was not paying for work that looked like a toddler had done it, especially after I had repeatedly communicated my dissatisfaction throughout the service and had been physically hurt during the process. Instead of acknowledging what happened or trying to resolve the situation professionally, I was personally insulted and accused of having "come with the intention not to pay." That was absolutely humiliating. I had sat there repeatedly asking for things to be corrected, had my natural nails damaged to the point of BLEEDING, glue was left ALL OVER my hands, wasted my time, and was already extremely upset about having to go to work with my hands looking like this -- and somehow they turned it into an attack on my character. What an embarrassment for a business that is supposed to provide a beauty service and make its clients feel good when they leave. I genuinely left IN TEARS. I've never felt so embarrassed, frustrated, and ashamed walking out of a place that's supposed to make you feel beautiful. Between damaging my natural nails, cutting my cuticles, applying the nails incorrectly and crooked, the nails lifting off the nail bed, leaving glue all over my hands, ignoring my repeated requests to fix them, wasting my time, and then personally insulting me when I refused to pay for unacceptable work, this was easily one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had.
