Gel mani + gel pedi was $95 for mediocre service. They add charges for everything removing gel, longer nails, even clipping your nails. The owner said only "frequent customers" avoid the extra fees, which says a lot about how they treat everyone else. They also charge an additional fee if you pay with a credit card, which basically pushes you to Zelle. That alone is a red flag. I've gone three times: first visit was fine, second was bad, third was the worst. Staff were arguing in their language in front of customers, using profanity and discussing money issues. It's supposed to be a relaxing place, not somewhere to listen to their drama. I won't be returning. read more

Easy to book an appointment, even same day. I had a gel pedicure and a dip manicure. Yany (or Danny, my bad girl) was my manicurist and she did a really good job. I deducted a star because if you pay by card, there is a fee. Otherwise, you can Zelle your payment (sketchy to me)?! It would be nice to let people know in advance, when they book an appointment, what the payment options are. I don't like the fact that a lot of nail places are now putting the card fee on the customers..just accept cash if you don't want to pay the fee to take cards...So, keep in mind to bring cash or be okay with being charged a fee to use your card. After taking precautions for over a year I've slowly started to go back to my normal routine of self care and of course that includes Mani/pedi. The last time I had a stepped in to a salon was for my birthday before being vaccinated and I had so much anxiety. Of course since then a lot of things have changed appointments are recommended because there is less staff available to service. I walked in the first time and I was not able to be taken care of due to the fact that there are only three workers. The receptionist was kind enough to offer a solution of making an appointment same day and coming back at a different time. I came back at a later time to find that the salon almost empty and they are taking all the precautions to space out everyone adequately. The service only took 30 minutes for a pedicure and the nail tech was very efficient. I decided to book another appointment with them for a manicure on Friday. Happy I found this on my way to GNC, located in the same shopping plaza on Biscayne. There's a lot of parking, so that's not an issue, but do keeping mind they can get busy, so you will have a wait which is worth it. I got a manicure and pedicure with dip powder on my nails on December 27th, and I'm finally getting around to doing my review on 1/20/22, and my nails still look pretty good with no chip or anything on my hand and feet. Clean and hygienic Not too busy on a Sunday eve right before closing (got there at 4:45; they close at 6pm). My nail tech was clearly still learning, she cut my toes multiple times, when I left I could visibly See dried blood on my toes. I had to ask her to be gentle, which I've never had to do before. Nothing against the salon, I just wish I wasn't cut so much and I hope she learns how not to do that as she gets better! Yeah, I'll never make this mistake again. Just to give some preface, my go-to nail place was booked both on Saturday/Sunday, which are my only days off to get pampered. So I had to do a bit of hunting and research to find a place that could, 1. Get me in, and 2. Wasn't some sketchy, or shady nail salon. This place had relatively good reviews and was 20 minutes from my house, so I figured this wouldn't be a big deal. I made a phone call for an 11 AM appointment for Sunday morning and had no issues over the phone. I arrived at 10:50 AM and there were about 3 nail technicians with about 5 different clients. This should have been the first red flag, the 3 employees were bouncing around the 5 people that were being taken care of. There was only one other person sitting, but her mother was currently getting a gel manicure and assumed she had already finished. But as it hit 11:00, she stood up and wanted to be seen by one the nail technicians named Alex. Thankfully, Alex was quick to point out that I had already booked an appointment and was up next. The girl seemed a little perturbed by that and pointed out that she had been here since 10 AM with her mother in hopes of being squeezed in as a walk-in, and that therefore, she should go first. Once again, I was thankful that Alex put his foot down and made it clear that I had made an appointment. Eventually, the mother and daughter duo paid but left with a bit of bitterness. At this point, I was sure that I was going to be next to get my nails done. Fast forward to 11:49 AM, when I finally went over to the pedicure station to get pampered. Alex took me over to the chair and got the water started, but just around this time, more customers started to pour in. There were several times during my pedicure, where Alex would just upright walk off to help tend to another client, and at one point he painted someone else's nails for 15 minutes while I sat with now lukewarm water. I get that it was busy, but I couldn't help but wonder why they were so understaffed? Another thing that annoyed me was I'm pretty sure he only did one coat of paint on my toenails, so the color was a little opaque. Once my pedicure was done, I went over to finish my gel manicure. I will admit, I was very pleased with the outcome of my manicure, I felt he took his time more and the color came out looking very good. My only problem is, this entire process took almost 3 hours. I wish I had seen more pictures of what the inside of the store looked like. It's very narrow and cramped inside. It's not the cleanest facility I've been to. Alex was very friendly and bless him for trying his best, but he needed more help. read more

This was my first time here and since it had so several good Yelp reviews and was close to my house I figured I would give it a try. What a dissappoinment!! I regret not waiting until the next day to go to my regular salon. First, let me start off by saying that I received a very warm welcome from Barb, who gave me an amazing pedicure..!! She was very friendly and took alot of care into what she did! I was very pleased with her and her attention to detail..!! I was hoping she would also be the one to do my manicure, but I was wrong. After I was finished up with my pedicure, I was moved over to another woman to do my dip manicure. She definitely did not have the same passion as Barb. 1) I asked to have same color put on my fingers and toes but the powder used on my fingers was much lighter and not as bright. When I pointed this out to the manicurest and asked if the color matched my toes (literally showed her my hands next to my feet) her reponse was, maybe the powder oxidized. Really...?? That's your response, no apology or solution? She offered to paint over my nails with the same color used for my toes or change the color on my toes to match my nails....what?!?! You cant be serious and be here another 2 hours? I said whats the point, thats why I get dip ($50.00 later) bc I dont want polish to chip on my finger nails..!! 2) During the manicure she cut my finger, tried to glue it closed and got glue on several other fingers in the process. She also managed to get dip powder all along my nail beds and in some places it mixed with the glue, so at the end of my manicure, I had several crusty paint colored glue spots on my hands that wouldnt come off even after scrubbing!.3) She filed my nails manually in such a way that the skin underneath my nails stuck as if I had tips applied with glue..?!?! This has never happened to me before!! She didnt check or notice that my skin had stuck to my nails, so my nails felt as if they had something underneath (not enjoyable). Just one more thing I had to bring to her attention for her to fix. All in all, she didnt really seem to care since she was more concerned with moving onto to the next thing or person. During my manicure she made me wait a few times so she could respond to txt mesaages. As soon as I stood up to go wash my hands (and scrub them) for the last time, she immediately moved onto her next client! Even after scrubbing my fingers with a nail brush, the dip powder and glue did not come off...!!! I was extremely upset and dissatified to say the least! This forced me to have to go back to the manicurest one last time so I could show her the crusty spots she so carelessly left behind on my fingers. She got up from her seat with cotton and nail polish remover in hand to scrub off what she could. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed and definitely will not go back! Barb was the best part of this experience and its unfortunate that she is underutliized. I understand things happen, but not even an apology or discount on service or future service shows how little they care or value repeat business. read more
