The lifeguards at the diving boards did not ensure that yellow bands were on little kids' wrists. My nephew went over there and was obviously not 12. Nothing done. I took him away and put him where he belonged. I had three kids with me all different ages and heights. Lifeguards need to be lifeguards and not be checking out other teenagers and playing games amongst themselves. It was very obvious. Sad really. Won't be back.

If you're a parent/caregiver and you want to swim, it will cost you the same but if you just want to go in it, it's five dollars to enter. We typically stay the full rec time that is 3 1/2 hours. We absolutely love it. The splash pad for the younger kids is really awesome with a waterslide that's perfect for youngsters! That waterslide is so much fun and these little ones have a blast! Theres one downstairs for younger children and one upstairs for older kids. They also have parents night out events that let you drop your kids off for pizza and movies. They have lots of options to choose between for all types of fitness levels and interests. They have a great weight room area and equally great machine area, they have yoga rooms, stationary bike room, a rock climbing wall and much more. The recreational pool is heated, lap pool isn't and the kiddie pool isn't either but it's a great cold plunge in the winter. I usually hit that then the sauna before my workouts. They have a basketball court inside and pickle ball courts outside in the back which always has action on them. Theres so much more they offer but I still have not had the chance to try it all out. Their juice/ snack bar is amazing. The soups and wraps are fire!! I highly recommend this place, especially if you have kids. The staff is great and the place is clean. I was definitely able to complete my workout, I just had to compromise a bit on some of the weights because a lot were being used. I wouldn't say it's run down, but it doesn't feel like a new, fresh gym. It feels really bright inside and gives kind of a hospital cafeteria vibe in the locker rooms. I know that doesn't really make sense, but it's what I thought about when I was in there. , so I guess it makes sense to me. The staff was helpful and friendly, everything seemed to be in good, working order, and it was overall a fine gym. Definitely nicer than the 24 hour fitness in my hometown, but nowhere near as nice as, say... Equinox. It's a "get her done" type of gym, and, I don't know about you, but I am always excited to be DONE with a workout. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating and even offered extra towels and blankets whenever needed which we really appreciated. The pool and hot tub area were also extremely clean and well kept the entire time. One thing I was pleasantly surprised by was the bathroom situation. Since they're shared bathrooms I expected something more public or hostel style but each one is actually completely private with its own shower and bathroom which made the experience feel way more comfortable. And the location honestly could not be better. You're literally just a 3-4 blocks from downtown Guerneville so you can walk to all the restaurants, bars, thrift shops and little art galleries so easily. Its not benefiting them in anyway and a lot of attention gets put on them leaving the rest standing(swimming) around alone. Implement a plan where someone can retake the first week of classes instead of allowing then to go on to week 2 when they're still struggling with week 1 assignments. Just be aware of this if you decide to sign up for any of their courses.

Would suggest to bring your own chairs or blankets to lay down. Also people brought pop-up canopies as well. Women's bathroom was decently clean.
