Pristine measured the pool and gave us a quote. They walked us through the steps and costs including letting us know what might be extras. Since this was in December we thought we might be stuck with an ugly pool until the rains stopped in April. Pristine took advantage of the lack of rain in early January. Drained the pool, added a new lining and skimmer and had it ready within a week. And it looks great. No leaks and came in as budgeted. Highly recommend

It's hard to believe the Doughboy pool he installed lasted us that long! But it did. Truly impressive. We were pretty satisfied customers. We looked up Pristine Pool in Forestville and were thrilled that Rod and his son Mark were still in business. We called and discussed the project, and Rod came over and took some measurements. In no time at all, Rod had a backhoe and crew over to clear the site of fire debris and prepare the area for a bigger, deeper, and way more funner pool than we had before. Four potable water truck deliveries later, the pool was finally filled, and my three dogs were again happy campers. Well, we were too. It took eight weeks from start to finish. Rod coordinated everything needed -- site excavation, surface preparation, pool wall and liner installation, pool filtration, startup, and chemicals. Everything worked out as expected. Our only delay was waiting three weeks for Doughboy to manufacture the 28x16' oval pool liner: a tricky one requiring a significant 7' deep end. But it was worth the wait. Our dogs and visiting company have enjoyed the pool since Pristing Pool installed it. And we have had absolutely no issues with anything at all. Interestingly, Pristine Pool and Spa do more than just install pools; they also repair them. Early one spring morning in 2022, a large mature Doe and her newborn Fawn decided to go swimming in the pool. The Doe managed to get herself out, but not before poking a few invisible holes somewhere in the liner, causing a slow leak in need of repair. We called Pristine Pool for advice, and Ron advised that his son, Mark, provided leak detection and repair services. How lucky was that? Mark arrived a few days later. It was April, and the pool water bore winter's comforting chill still. Nonetheless, Mark donned a wetsuit and some diving gear, jumped in, and within 15 minutes, managed to find a collection of virtually invisible holes in the floor and sides of the pool liner, which he patched and immediately stopped the pool from losing water further. Cost? Less than a fancy dinner for two up. We were stoked! The company and its owners, Rod and Mark, have proved and continue to remain trustworthy, skilled, and high-quality craftsmen who take pride in their work and that of their employees and care genuinely for their customers. Thank you for your many years of devotion to your craft and dedication to service. We were lucky to find Pristine Pools 34 years ago. Additionally, there is a separate pool with diving boards and a deep end, plus an area thats 3-4 deep. On a hot August day, an ice cream guy came by the fence and after a few kids caught on, I'm pretty sure they sold something to every single family there. They are strict about what floaties are allowed in. Our puddle jumpers were ok, but they did ask to hold them so they could check they are approved. Cost was $8 per adult, with kids free. There is tons of grass to sit in, and lawn chairs with shading. The locker rooms are nice, but it's only a changing area and bathrooms inside. The shower is only outside, so it forces you to take a quick rinse in your bathing suit.

We weren't able to check in until after 6 o'clock even with the Covid tthe manager and the owner Jody and her son Jason are crooks. She tried to blame everything that was wrong with the place on the people that are staying downstairs. It took us 15 minutes to be able to get inside after the sixth after the 6 PM check in and we had to kill flies. There were no blankets on the bed bed and we didn't get any blankets. They dropped blankets off in the carport at about 2 AM in the morning.. The pictures tell at all do not waste your money going to this property they are crooks. I will be reporting them to Lake County health department on July 20, 2020.

Jodi was able to have the rental cleaned in a timely matter so that I can change my reservation on the same day. I should have come here in the 1st place its so peaceful. Amber, the weekend manager, was amazing at getting us settled - the first caravan we were in had a minor issue with water pressure, but Amber got us moved to fully functioning unit in no time (and even offered to help schlep our stuff!). We slept like logs listening to the creek gently babbling all night, and the STARS at night! Amazing! The variety of water temps is fantastic, the steam room and dry sauna are ideal, and the locker rooms are new and roomy. We'll be back!

Cons: They don't allow pool toys because babies could get ahold of them and choke, and they don't allow nose clips or snorkel masks because they're a drowning hazard, both rules we've never encountered at any of the multitude of other pools we've been to. Some neurodivergent individuals and/or those who deal chronic ear infections or severe allergies may need nose clips to swim so that rule in particular seems unnecessarily restrictive. I also found nothing about nose clips being a drowning hazard when I googled it. Lastly, as we were making a snack bar purchase I watched as a customer came to talk to the staff about an issue and then when the person left to go back to their blanket, facility staff and lifeguards openly joked and laughed about it. You wouldn't know you're still technically in town because it feels like you're tucked away!! Every tent was super spacey (we stayed in the Fab+) and there's a heated blanket which made the nights sooo comfortable. The bed was also super comfy! Each tent also has its own little private outside setup with chairs & table on the porch plus lounge chairs and a personal fireplace right outside. Like literally every single tent had its own private fireplace right outside. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating and even offered extra towels and blankets whenever needed which we really appreciated. The pool and hot tub area were also extremely clean and well kept the entire time. One thing I was pleasantly surprised by was the bathroom situation. Since they're shared bathrooms I expected something more public or hostel style but each one is actually completely private with its own shower and bathroom which made the experience feel way more comfortable. And the location honestly could not be better. You're literally just a 3-4 blocks from downtown Guerneville so you can walk to all the restaurants, bars, thrift shops and little art galleries so easily. We will be back at Surrey Resort every time we're in Guerneville!!

Emergency sign by the pool is old and other property signs should be professionally made. (You're almost there Surrey! You just have to round third base for the home run). -Non-working jets in the hot tub, over used towels and sheets and lack of space security (gates don't work) and pool-house stay room has no bathroom door or key to secure the room. These are simple fixes to make this all come together. Staff is scarce but very friendly. The pool was the STAR. If everything could sparkle like the pool does, The Surrey would be 5 star glamping spot. Time to earn that RESORT label! Best of luck.
