He came out and got my car started in under 15 minutes which anyone who's ever needed a tow knows is insanely fast. Marcus was polite and professional and more importantly, he was courteous. But, that is not the end of our story. I had run a few errands and kept the car running for about a half hour to 45 minutes and stopped to grab a bite. That stop was the end of the road for my poor car and it would not start again. So again I went to my phone, called my roadside assistance number and 20 minutes later here came Marcus again. He got my car running and insisted he follows me to my dealership. It's that type of above and beyond customer service that encourages me to use them again.

We told the Valvoline people that and they tried to make us replace it with them. Said no. They put it back, but the second we get on the highway this piece starts dragging on the ground!!! We quickly pull up to Xcessive Auto Repair and the guys here (ask for G!!!) were able to remove the piece and get us on our way. If you're thinking about going to some random chain shop anywhere in San Angelo-- DONT. Come HERE. They'll treat you personally and actually know what they're doing. I thankfully and prayerfully made it home safe and called Mitchell Toyota yesterday (Monday) to see if they had any appointments to get my light fixed. The Customer Service Associate told me to come in after 1:30 p.m. and I was seen as soon as I arrived. I went to the Parts Department and was helped by a very pleasant Associate who gave me a "Military Discount" on the bulb I needed. What's more, Toyota DID NOT charge for the Labor of installing the bulb (Fist Pump! And Fist Pump Again!) I waited about 30 minutes in the Waiting Room after paying for my bulb, but was very happy to learn my vehicle was ready. While I have read the previous reviews, I am glad to report my experience was everything that I have come to expect of Toyota after having owned one for almost 20 years. While in San Angelo, I definitely plan to come back to this location for my automotive needs. Until the next bulb blows ~

She sounded irritated and as if I interrupted her - perhaps she was busy on her FB page - not sure - but very unfriendly! I then called the front desk/reception and again spoke to someone NOT TOO friendly, but also not rude. I asked to speak to the GM - was then told he was in a meeting. I asked WHO he was, to which she at first sounded reluctant to give his name - then after asking again - she said it was "Sean". I asked her to please ask him to call me - she said she would give him the message. Today is Friday, May 20th, and NO call has come from "Sean" - the GM! As a business owner for many years, I am amazed how businesses like this are still in business! Is it ONLY about selling new vehicles (but then) they even suck at that! I went to them over a year ago looking at trading my 2018 GMC with very low mileage, and buying a Toyota Tacoma (I ended up buying a BRAND NEW one from Brunner Toyota in Brownwood - which means they lost that deal) - I was told by the "salesman" that he cannot give me a price on my GMC and that he needs to speak to his manager and that they will get back to me! It has been over a year, and I still have not received that call! Bet you IF I ran my business like this, I would not be in business, let alone employ people who do not know HOW to speak to potential customers! I will now take my vehicle to Abilene to get serviced - yet another loss for this business! It seems that they THINK they are doing us a favor by "servicing" our vehicles - forgetting they are getting PAID to do it! Really, is this where we are heading as a society?

He quickly had a new Jasper Transmission ordered, and was more than welcoming to us. It took several days for our parts to arrive, and he offered for us to stay in our camper on his property for free. He even let us connect to his electric to run our air conditioner. I watched the employees of Kelly's Auto Shop for a week, and they were absolutely always the pinnacle of professional and kind. Bryon is an extremely knowledgeable expert in auto repair, and could diagnose problems immediately and have them fixed in quick order. Kyle is a by-the-book perfectionist who treated every vehicle as if it was his own. He's young and smart, and a fantastic person. Kelly (the owner) is a great "old style" mechanic. He's worked on every kind of vehicle and seen every type of problem. He's well versed in cars and also isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and fix something when it needs fixing. Kelly and his entire crew are great people, and you'd be foolish to use any other repair shop in town. These guys are legends.

When I lived in West Texas four years ago, he was my go to person for car wash and he was always prompt, professional, engaging and knows exactly what your vehicle needs. They will clean it from top to bottom and won't miss a spot. It was usually a team of two who washed my vehicle when I needed it. Whenever it was time for a vehicle cleaning, he would text me and ask if I wanted a wash because with work, I often forgot that it was time. Prices are drastically different, and customer service is condescending and often opportunistic with silly "inspection fees." Then there are the complete rip-offs that lack diagnostic abilities and should not be in business. I spoke with Jesse, who is honest, knows his business well, and doesn't need to resort to price gouging or surprise inspection fees. They repaired the car quickly and consulted with me before costing me a penny. Jesse gave me reasonable options and stood by his quote. He gave me an excellent detailed quote for repairs I will also need in the future. I'll never take my car to any other shop in West Texas.
