I never once worried about my son and for good reason; he absolutely loves it here and it shows in his behavior how well he is cared for. There were some rough days at the start getting acclimated for him , but we got updates and plenty of reassurance that he was going to eventually get comfy and boy did he. He adores all the other kids that are there with him, as well as Jazel's family that helps her, and his day here is the topic of conversation everyday. This has proven to be one of our best parenting moves and continues to be. Well, that isn't the case with Alexandra. As I mentioned before, this is probably by far the best nanny agency in Los Angeles, as Alexandra is always giving you 1x1 treatment. Forget about "random" emails or text messages regarding new interviews or feedbacks, without talking to a real person. Forget about unresponsive emails ou phone calls to her. If you try to get a hold of her for any reason, she will reply to you soon as she can. And that's for me, it's amazing, as other agencies in the area, most of the times, have no apparently desire to respond to you. She will help you with anything during the process of signing with the agency, she will be honest about your resume and ask if you willing to "change" for better understanding, she will help you to find a job (like no other agency), during interviews, trials, during the hiring process, and anything in between and after. My example is the perfect one, as I was hired one month ago! While the family was looking for a part time nanny, and tried multiple times to give me an offer on 25 hours a week, Alexandra, spoke to them about their "actual" needs and why not offer me a full time split position now, if that could be a thing for the near future? Well, they did! I'm working for an amazing family and super happy. And Alexandra? She keeps checking on me almost every week to see how things are going. With that in mind, I wanna say I am deeply grateful for this school. They have great systems in place with low ratio and really teach the little ones a lot while they're there. I can solidly say that at two years old my daughter can count from one to 20 and sing the whole alphabet along with about 15 different nursery, rhymes and stack blocks and has very advanced fine motor and motor skills because of the school. I'm a licensed OT and always felt safe with and confident in staff. Mrs. Nali, Mrs Dhammika, and Mrs Nayana are well educated in this age group, patient, and loving. All of the staff are truly wonderful. We went from infant, to wobbler, to toddler and transitioned very well. I don't know the frequency but every time my child which class they gave me a comprehensive developmental checklist to tell me what my child was doing or wasn't doing that was on track for proper development or not and that is huge. When you're a busy parent and don't always notice some of the things that Are typical or atypical to have some professional eyes to help you understand where your child is developmentally is huge. They are CPR trained and do a great job with making sure they're fed and changed consistently. My baby never came home hungry or never was crying when I picked her up and never got diaper rash there. If you choose to be part of the little app, you will get photos of your child. Once every couple weeks in the classroom is playing with the other children. They also send little videos and they do little Halloween parades and classroom parties. The Christmas parade is precious too! The focus of MONTESSORI is self-sufficiency which as an occupational therapist I really love. She would come home and if she spilled something, she would run right away to try to clean it up. She very much wanted to learn how to do things on her own and she knew how to threw away her own trash, which was not something I taught her at home necessarily lol It truly is adorable and prepares your baby for a successful road ahead with school and life beyond. My only thing I would change is having carpet or soft floor in the infant room vs hard floors. Other than that, everything really is done perfectly, and they have a lovely little outdoor space that they take them to a few times a day where they can ride bikes and do the slide and all of that. Learning how to operate in a group and look at what the rest of the group is doing and follow along is a critical life skill, and my baby has transitioned to preschool seamlessly because of her experience at this other school. In fact, one of her current teachers used to work at Wee care as well and has positive things to say.

The teachers always greet him and hold him while I leave so I know he is comforted. They have a fairly structured day set for the infants including set nap times and circle times. They still treat your child as an individual and, in the case of my child, if they won't nap in the crib initially they slowly work towards that goal and they don't force it. My son now takes daily naps there. They keep a log of all diaper changes, feedings etc for the parent to sign at the end of the day. Overall we are very happy with the teachers and the facility.

I ended up enrolling both my son and daughter (we transitioned from private care to daycare ). My husband and I also came later that day to do a tour inside the facility. We love it, My kids and the other students love it. they get excited for drop off, their friends scream their name in excitement.. ( super adorable to hear). The kids are clearly well taken care of. Both my kids have become more social and are just thriving all around My family & husbands family live in San Diego, so they are not local enough to help for any last minuet care. Doris and her team have been helpful & provided care on short notice or in emergencies. They really feel like family to us. If you ever need clarification or have questions, text usually works best. She and her staff are native Spanish speakers, with English as their second language. They even teach me, my husband, and our kids some Spanish, ha, great right. We love this daycare. The other parents are great, too. My husband and I have made friends with the parents who take their kids, and now our kids even have playdates.

The first few days were a little rough as expected, everything is new , so he did cry a bit the first few days, but I also know he wanted to be held by her a lot and she held him more than she was supposed to. It would break my heart seeing those first few photos of him crying, but a week later I was receiving photos of him laughing and playing on his own and with the other children. She provides a stimulating curriculum, a safe and clean environment ( mostly outdoors with NO screens) and an inclusive atmosphere. She has a structured schedule with activities that encourage learning and development. She has a variety of age-appropriate toys. She makes time for physical activity, quiet time, reading, group and free play. Her and Leslie are attentive and responsive to every child's needs, my son is eater and he never comes home hungry. Now, at 2 years old, his face lights up when I drop him off and he see Ms Leslie or Ms Doris. Even on the hard days when there are the occasional tantrums at drop offs because he cant bring a bike or toy inside at drop off, they make sure he feels ok after he's there and they console him appropriately. Hes learn colors, the alphabet and numbers in both Spanish and English. Im so grateful to this daycare & Doris/Leslie.
