My fiancé and I got engaged in Jan 2019 and after venue shopping and planning, we were referred to Yvette in May 2019. At the time, we decided to not do a pop up since we ended up deciding to do a wedding on a cruise in 2020. Well obviously that fell apart thanks to the pandemic! Yvette was there to save the day! We were hoping things would get better in 2020 but COVID cases kept rising so we said screw it, let's do the pop up wedding! And we are SO happy that we did! We didn't want to do a huge party and spend thousands on a wedding but we got the upscale wedding look for so much less. Yvette and her team were offering these COVID packages (see their Instagram to see if still on going) and we had an officiant, seating for 25, cake, photographer venue and decorations all for under $2000. My family was worried that since we were spending significantly less than the average wedding cost that it wouldn't be as nice. In fact, we were criticized prior to the wedding, but then the day of the wedding arrived and they were in awe. It was so romantic and beautiful. Yvette and her team added flowers, candles and just made the night so magical. The cake was delicious and over all the experience was dreamy and magical. Pop Up Weddings Houston also go beyond the pop up wedding bookings. Yvette does weddings of all sizes! They actually do wedding give aways on their instagram so check it out if you're recently engaged! They also work with vendors/partners who provide live streaming services, photo booths and more! Anyways, major thanks to Pop Up Wedding Houston! I am totally referring my engaged friends to them! Note: Once I receive my wedding photos I'll update my review to show you all how gorgeous the venue was!

    Hidden Pines I…read morereached out to venue before posting review in hopes they would at least acknowledge or apologize for issues but my several letters have gone unanswered. I see they only respond to positive feedback. I hope my review helps others searching for a venue. First off this is a beautiful venue. They offer different packages. Their vendors may not be local and any pricing or pictures all done digitally or FaceTime meetings. No catalogs available except online which can get confusing. Any discount offered on packages only available at time of contract signing. You can add any service as you go however we found out after signing we couldn't get the $200 off for a service not needed if we upgraded a package. Only at signing do they offer. You are unable to set up rehearsal if you want the night before event until 30 days before your wedding. Ceremony room sound is awful. I was alerted by another venue customer a month before about issue and I alerted venue and they assured sound was fine. It isn't. Do a mic check at rehearsal to make sure or before signing contract Have your own coordinator to monitor event. We had 3 different coordinators and the third one was a surprise to us day of wedding others were leaving and she was taking over. Assurances made by other coordinators did not happen Promised food to take for bride and groom not given. We had 10 guest not show and they didn't have food for our grandson who woke up as last guest was served. Not sure where our food went that should have been available Workers tossed out our leftover cake and light up props before event ended Workers constantly removed peoples full drinks and even took away peoples specialty cups we ordered separately from another vendor. This happened entire night. Frustrating we couldn't enjoy our things. Bartenders were unable to make simple drinks. We requested no tipping as we would pay ourselves. We later learned bartenders were accepting tips then took our tip as well. Bar presented as wine only. We had an open bar but none of their alcohol was visible to guests as they had pre poured wine with ice on bar. They dont have things like limes or garnishes. Venue ran out of water well before event ended. If you use venue have someone like your own coordinator monitor employee activity. They were clearing tables of everything with more than an hour of reception time. You have a full hour after reception time to clear out your things so employees should not be tossing or removing your things as they did before actual reception ends. The venue is beautiful. Planning coordinators say all the right things but if you don't have your own person watching out for you things aren't followed through as promised. We had a great wedding in spite of their unprofessional service. I attribute most of that to the many helpers my family and friends provided. If you are able to plan for these negative things you can also have a nice wedding here.

You don't even meet your coordinator in person and she's not even the one that will be there on the day of !!!!! They're assigning me 2 random people to come coordinate the day of, not the woman I've been working with for the past year. The girl that was there the day of left at like 8 and someone else showed up? (Yes we had our own coordinator too but that's not the point. I didn't enjoy having random people show up at my wedding that I've never met) -You get different answers depending on who you ask at the venue, no one is on the same page. It's actual chaos. -Everything you do is on some portal that isn't organized great, and you only communicate through email. Which I hate. They don't necessarily like in person meetings or phone calls. -The amount of times I have had to ask our 'coordinator' to fix something on the documents because she was careless and typed in things wrong, was absurd. -Our cake was cracked and melted before we even cut it. -The bartender was very rude to my husband & a few guests. Even made a comment about 'not making enough for this'. -The fajita Buffett didn't let people get one chicken and one beef fajita. They were only allowed one meat. -They didn't pass out my appetizer for cocktail hour which we paid extra for. -They don't care about you, just your money. I'm sure people have had better experiences there, but it's been absolute hell planning with them. The amount of money we paid for this wedding, we should not have had these issues.

Our venue/coordinator was a bit nervous about releasing live butterflies during the ceremony and were nervous about keeping the butterflies alive. However, Vibrant Wings delivered with flying colors! Horrible puns aside, Vibrant Wings has tons of packages and options (think boxes, species, delivery mechanisms, etc.); incredibly responsive staff; and punctual delivery. Regarding this service, the biggest highlights for me: 1. Kathy was great to work with: I sent emails and made phone calls to make sure I was doing everything correctly. She was patient and professional through the entire process. 2. The Monarch butterflies were gorgeous, large, and flapped up a storm! 3. Zero fatalities on my wedding day. This can't emphasized enough! 4. Guests loved them as well! You will be approached by friends who will frankly state that they will steal your idea of releasing butterflies at their own wedding haha! Despite the cheeky commentary in my review, I want to say that Vibrant Wings Butterflies deserves an A+ rating and, should the occasion arise, I will definitely do business with them again! -Jim

    Used diamond and pearl services for my wedding in November and they were absolutely amazing…read more We ended up using their full service with their officiant, bar services, DJ, and day of coordinator. They helped me out so much during the planning process of my wedding. Helping me pick out colors, center pieces, and all of the decorations for the wedding. They answered all of my questions that I had. On the day of the wedding they were able to get everything set up inside of the venue, so that way I could just focus on getting ready and not stress about time. We also used there catering service for the BBQ food and it tasted amazing. We had leftovers to take home with us that lasted a good few days. All In all i am so glad i used Diamond and Pearl service . They made my wedding day perfect and made it so smoothly. I would recommend them to any bride that wants less stress on their wedding day.

I'm talking I needed four waiters four days before my wedding... oh and let's add that it's on a holiday! Bree was so courteous the first time that I called her. I had actually spoken to a couple other service providers in the area and unfortunately.. it didn't seem like they wanted my business and I felt brushed off. when I called diamond and Pearl services Bree answered the phone and we chatted for about 20 minutes. I could tell she was in the middle of something as I could hear the wind whipping behind her and people in the background. I had told her that if she needed to she could call me back, however she insisted that now was a good time. That meant the world to me especially after being treated so poorly from other companies. I was able to get a quote from her immediately over the phone and within the next few days have a contract signed and paid for. When I called to give her the payment me and Bree ended up chatting for an hour! She knows her stuff! Even though I wasn't using her as a wedding coordinator I would highly recommend her. During our conversation we talked about all the little last-minute things that brides tend to forget and chatted. She is so friendly and personable! The day went off without a hitch and her staff was incredible. I am very grateful for not only her kind words and help during this time but being able to get four people on a holiday last minute for me. It's extraordinary the lengths she went to to make sure that I would be taken care of. I'm humbled by it. Thank you so much Bree and all the staff at Diamond and Pearl Services for making my special day absolutely perfect.

Please, disregard and move forward with the best decision you'll ever make (and I mean that in every context of the phrase.) The "new" En Vogue was the best choice I made for my wedding. Stephanie (owner) is my coordinator, and she is everything a busy girl needs in her life. Stephanie is like a personal assistant-wedding edition, and she genuinely cares about bringing your vision forward. I cannot stress how important it is to have a coordinator who is ON, all the time. Since I have a crazy schedule and unpredictable work hours/home hours/school hours, it was imperative that I select a full service package. And y'all-En Vogue delivers. She texts me, calls me, tags me, picks up vendor samples for me, proof reads emails for me, communicates with all the top vendors in the city, and goes above and beyond to de-stress a very stressful season in my already-chaotic life. I knew that wedding planning while balancing my full time job and full time school, among life's other surprises, would be a challenge. But she and her team make it feel organized. Essentially, Stephanie's most frequented phrases are "Do you see this for YOUR wedding?" And It's taken care of." Do yourself a favor and don't have a small stroke while planning your wedding. This team knows exactly what they're doing and their kindness and dedication shows.

To start off, it is not my goal to defame En Vogue Events, I am still a bride and customer service is HUGE to me. When looking for vendors, I want the opinions of an honest bride to help me, before signing a contract with a vendor. So, this is my reason for writing. I cancelled my services with the company over two (2) weeks ago and purposely waited this long before writing a review, to see if Haley Hughes would call to reconcile and admit to not following the contract, the company never called/email to apologize, so I decided to let her brides know what I experienced. If I were a confrontational person, who was rude and derogative, then I can expect a company/individual no longer provided their services, but I am the complete opposite. I just expect to get what I paid for and for a company/individual to do their job. I am still in the process of planning my wedding and when I worked with En Vogue Events, it started off okay, but then I noticed Haley would not respond to emails in a timely manner, I would have to remind her to send over timelines, she did not attend the floral meeting (which was stated on the signed contract), she did not contact me to attend meeting with other vendors (also on the signed contract), unreturned phone calls/emails...etc. When I first met with Haley, I mentioned that customer service is the most important quality of a company. She expanded on how she is great at that, she is anal and so business will get done...etc. Just last this month (May 2011), I had to cancel with her in the middle of my planning, because there is no way I wanted to give someone thousands of dollars and they did not care about my wedding When I realized I could not take it anymore, my fiancée and I schedule a meeting with Haley to discuss how this business relationship is not working and what she was going to do; since she did not follow parts of the contract. She understands that my fiancée and I live 60 miles out of the city, so we had to prepare the night before to meet with her. She wrote me around noon, the day we would meet, to cancel. This was not the first meeting she cancelled. After that, I knew she did not care about our wedding. Our venue in Dallas is beautiful and most of the brides who host their wedding there, is willing to pay a lot of money for vendors. Our contact at the hotel has many years of experience and loves to hear about vendors, so she can recommend to her brides. We also plan on having our wedding figured in magazines and websites, which would have also brought her additional contacts. I have no idea if it was a personal grudge (which I have no idea why it would be, because Haley and I barely spoke, she only showed to one meeting to get to know me.) The hotel recommended a new planner in Dallas and we are so happy. I said I would not go over budget for a planner, but I did, just because her recommendations from the hotel, and from other brides was positive. So if someone is willing to go above and beyond, we are willing to pay. This is a long email and I did not included other instances my fiancée and I had with En Vogue Events, but working with them was the absolute WORST part of planning this entire wedding. So, if you want a planner to care about you and your special day, in my opinion, this is not the company.
