Came here as a walk in. I'm familiar with IV bars, but my husband was a first timer. We've been staying in Key West for the month. About 5 days in he started getting sick with weird symptoms after getting eaten alive by mosquitos. After webMD'ing his symptoms we were concerned he may have gotten sick from a mosquito bite. We walked in and were immediately treated by the nurse. She commented on how severely dehydrated he was and gave us the best IV bag for his symptoms. The service was super quick and efficient. I came here two trips ago while in Key West with a friend. I woke up with a killer hangover, the type you know is about to ruin one whole vacation day. Weakly, my friend and I stumbled our way here after having saved a photo of this places ad. Upon arrival we were promptly sat, explained the process and decided if we wanted any additions to the regular process. My friend paid extra for some vitamins and I stuck with the regular old hangover IV. Within 20 minutes of the IV, I felt 10x better. Honestly my hangovers often have me puking all day and it was just short of miraculous how well I felt by the end of the 45 minutes. Highly recommend. After a night in the Keys, I needed some help with a brutal hangover. This place patched me up. The massage chairs are amazing too. The group of patients in there were a fun group. When we first entered we noticed how clean the place was and were greeted by a friendly woman dressed professionally in scrubs. She was welcoming and sat us in comfortable massage chairs. She made us feel no shame when explaining our symptoms which I'm sure she had heard before time and time again. We were set up with IV drips made specifically for our needs as she explained all the ingredients and their benefits. She also explained what we should be feeling at certain points during the treatment and tailored the treatment to our needs throughout. I was not disappointed. I decided to try the IV because I was planning on running in a half marathon the next day. I was worried about dehydration because I wasn't acclimated to the Florida temperatures. I wasn't dehydrated since I was drinking plenty of fluids and was urinating regularly throughout the day. The lady giving me the IV was nice, but she made a mess of my arms. In both arms my veins blew. IV fluid was spilling under my skin and forming a huge lump. Blood squirted on my clothing which she was able to get out with Clorox wipes. She finally got an infant needle and catheter and put the IV in my hand. She said this all happened because I was dehydrated and then up sold me another bag of fluids. After I was done, my heart rate was elevated and I had chest pain for three days. I spoke with two paramedics and they suspected I was over hydrated which likely flushed my potassium out of my system. Never again will I get an IV from anywhere other than a clinic or hospital. read more
