Every time I visit, they make me feel warm, comfortable, and truly welcome. I previously had a very negative experience with the OB-GYN team at St. Jude Hospital. I understand that doctors see many different situations every day, but for many moms, especially first-time moms, everything feels new and overwhelming. Patients cannot be expected to have the same level of experience or emotional distance as medical professionals. Even when discussing difficult topics such as miscarriage, the doctors here explained that some situations can be medically common or normal, but they did so with genuine empathy and compassion. That made a huge difference. Instead of hearing cold or dismissive words like "we see this all the time," they acknowledged how emotional and personal the experience can be for patients. At this clinic, I truly felt understood and, most importantly, heard. That reassurance meant a lot to me during such an important time.

This prompted me to research this doctor and this office and found that this is common with the staff here. I simply canceled my appointments and will find a provider who has a better front office that will be welcoming so that we are not made to feel as if we are burdening anyone with making appointments.
