I am really bugged. The lady that did my nails just rushed me!!! I asked for a manicure and all she did was file my nails and then paint them. Like, no cuticle trimming, or lotion massage! Also, she filed my nails WAY TOO SHORT. She shaped them really weird, but didn't even ask how i wanted it done. I'm really bugged. She also didn't get my nail color all the way up to my cuticle, so there is a huge gap. Last time I'm coming to K.W. because all they do is just rush people so they can have more people come in and get more money, but the quality sucks. read more

Worst fucking experience at a nail salon will never go back. My manicure took 5 minutes... disgusting tools, cut me cause he was trying to clean my cuticles so quickly, did cuticles, filed super fast, put acetone on my nails and then just polish. Told me to sit and wait (figured he'd be back to at LEAST put cuticle oil on or lotion) came back 10 minutes later and said "I need you to get up I need this station." Didn't even brush off the access dust from my nails. If I could give it a 0 I would but unfortunately I have to give it at least a 1 star. Will only recommend Signature Nail down in PG from here on out will tell everyone I know to never go here. read more

I got my nails done here yesterday and they have already chipped. It's gel so it shouldn't have so I'm irritated that I paid money and will have to have someone redo my nail when I can get somewhere. I made an appointment at 2 and they didn't even start my nails until 2:20 and it took them an hour and a half to do regular gel polish. I'm super irritated with the time I spent there to have my nail chip one day later. Unlikely to return to this nail salon. read more

This salon is a dream! It's beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, the music is perfection, and the staff is wonderful! I showed up 20 minutes before closing and the welcomed me right in and gave me first-rate service. Even though I called ahead and made an "appointment" the place was overcrowded and the service rushed. The guy who did my nails made no eye contact and no effort at communication. I live in Highland and sent my mother and daughter here to treat them for Mani/Pedis for my daughter's 8th bday. The plan was for them to go with each other and I would just call the payment in over the phone. The experience that we had today was beyond terrible and to be honest, quite shocking. I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism and rudeness in my life. I called in a payment over the phone and was a little confused by the total. I was charged $175 for 2 mani/pedis. Let me remind you one was for my 8 year old daughter who had requested rainbow nails. They told me her mani and pedi was $100. SHE IS 8 YEARS OLD!!! We were clearly over charged, so I called back to get an itemized bill of how much each service cost just so that I understood exactly what I was being charged for. The woman kept giving me different prices and the total kept changing and she could not provide me with simple numbers. Then she put me on the phone with a nice man and he gave me a completely different total. It was obvious that they were just making up the price and they couldn't explain why they charged me so much. She ended up getting frustrated and told me she was tired and hung up on me. Initially I thought, she accidentally hung up on me so I called a second time and she told me she was too tired to deal with my price discrepancy and hung up on me again. They had already charged my card along with a very generous tip that I left. My mother called me from the nail salon and told me the woman that hung up on me interrupted the pedi that was being given to my 8 year old daughter by one of the male techs. The very unprofessional woman told the man to stop giving the pedicure to my daughter and she proceeded to take off the freshly painted polish off of her toe nails. My daughter was very confused and a little scared why the woman was behaving so erratically. Today is her bday and she just wanted rainbow nails. I left my house and rushed over to the salon to figure out what was going on and to try and understand how a phone call confirming prices escalated into the woman getting so angry that she took my daughters polish off without anyone's consent. I had already paid $175 plus a $30 tip. When I entered the salon the woman was sitting in the very front table facing the door. She immediately met me with aggressive hostility and told me that I was lying about being over charged and that they have never overcharged anyone there. I am positive that this is not the first time customers have been overcharged at this salon.The salon was packed. As a customer I have a right to know what I am being charged for. I told the woman that it was beyond terrible how she was behaving and that it was very bad for business. She said that I was a liar and she didn't care. She kept yelling at me in front of the customers saying, "I don't care, I don't care". Needless to say, I will NEVER be returning back to this salon and I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this place. This situation could have been easily handled if she would have just been transparent about the costs instead of being sneaky. Watch your wallets at this place people! VERY DISHONEST SALON! I was refunded $98. I will be monitoring my account to make sure I receive my refund. I am still in complete shock that this situation was handled in this manner. My mother and daughter were completely humiliated and I was called a lair in from of a whole salon in a neighborhood that I live in. UNACCEPTABLE. I hope the owner of this salon understands how employees like this woman are actually hurting the business. No customers should ever be treated the way that my family and I were treated today. I really urge any customer reading this review to please steer clear of this salon. I'm curious how many other customers they have ripped off that were too afraid to speak up. read more

I recommended this place to my niece and sister, both of whom are from out of town but happened to be here within a week of each other. I am so embarrassed by the service they received and the response of the manager when it was brought to her attention. My sister just walked out mad and left NO tip, but my niece asked the manager if the deluxe pedicure should only take 20 minutes total, especially since other people in her party started and ended their pedicures before she did. The manager told her that nothing is guaranteed, each worker works at their own speed and does their own kind of service. Wrong answer. That is not how it should be. Do not waste your time or money here. There are too many more options to choose from (in my opinion though, Utah County lacks in great spa options, but.....). This is by far the best nail salon I've been to in the area! Lily, the owner is so sweet and does an incredible job. Their salon is clean, sanitary, and relaxing. They provide excellent customer service! I came in close to closing time and they fit me in, no questions or complaints even though my service put them working past their closing time. Then, on my way to my car I stuffed up my pedicure polish and Lily was so nice and fixed it for me! If you're going to go to a nail salon in the area, make sure it's this one. They do a great job and want their customers to be happy! read more

Went there for a fill with my mom, most of the staff was very nice and everything seemed great at first. Once I sat down the guy doing my nails hardly spoke to me the entire time he did my nails, he was putting a very unnecessary amount of pressure on my fingers as he worked on them. Literally almost felt like this guy was trying to break my fingers by squeezing them so hard. No to mention how he kept yanking my arm closer to him. I understand needing a hand in a certain position and that it can be frustrating but that treatment is unacceptable. I'm a cosmetologist so I know it can be frustrating sometimes but that's why you use your WORDS. Not force. Being a cosmetologist I also know typically what steps are supposed to be taken when it comes to nail services. I asked for the manicure add on to my fill and they said it would be $10 which is perfectly fine. That $10 was just for the guy to cut my cuticles. Didn't even bother soaking my fingers or even doing as much as using cuticle softener because apparently that's so hard. So I paid $10 for a "manicure add on" to literally just have this guy cut my cuticles. Pathetic. Not to mention he also cut me twice (actively making me bleed) during my service. Didn't have me wash my hands prior to painting them. Only let me go wash my hands once he was done with the service AFTER applying the cuticle oil. Waste of product and just absolutely stupid because that makes it extremely pointless to even put the oil on to begin with. Also got nail polish all over my hand and couldn't be bothered to even take 2 seconds to wipe that off so I asked one of the other nails techs to do it as after seeing how deep my tech had cut me to make me bleed as much as he had and the way he treated me, I didn't want to even ask that guy to do anything that would involve him touching me again. I've been getting my nails done for years. And not once have I ever been cut. Much less twice in the span of maybe 3 minutes. I get sometimes a little nick happens. But with how deep I was cut, that could've been entirely avoided had the nail tech been more gentle and done his job with a little more care. Such a shame because the owner was there when we were in and he was very nice. A shame that he has such poor representation working for him showing the service he is okay with providing at his business. For a $70 fill (which is literally the price of a full set) I would've expected to have been treated a lot better. read more

My friend and I went in it was great service until we sat down in the chairs. They told me no to the design that I wanted and then I picked a new color and he said no to that as well because my nails were too short and then he continued to cut them shorter. So I chose a different color He still continued to cut my nails shorter and shorter and then after he was finished with my gel he used the cuticle scissors and cut the top of my nail skin so that the nail polish around my nail would not be there anymore. And it cost me 45 dollars for gel polish. read more

VERY BAD!!! I had the worst experience that I've ever had at a nail salon. Lily the manager has done my nails twice before, I went to her because I had one of my nails lifting, I needed her to fix it. She looked at it and looked at me and said there's nothing wrong with it and told me I needed to take all my nails off and get a full set. She was rude and inconsiderate, turned around and ignored me, then walked away. When I came back to get a full set she ripped all my nails off (after I waited 45 minutes for her to finish someone else). And then she told me she had to Have a store meeting with her employees and sent me out the door with Raw and very sore nails. She told me to come back at 8 AM the next day. Then I got a text message from her that next morning saying she was sick and had to cancel. This is the most unprofessional thing I've ever experienced. I will never go back to the salon ever again. Worst experience of my life. I made an appointment for two services- manicure and pedicure. When I got there, they didn't have my appointment written down but assured me that I would be placed with the next available technician. 45 minutes later, they had seated TWO walk-ins before me. I finally asked why and pointed out that I was still waiting. They got me back in a chair and offered me a giftcard for my next service, not applicable to the current service for the day. Like I was going to ever come back after being forgotten and bypassed! Two days since I went in, my nails, gel, have all started peeling. Terrible quality service, terrible customer service. I didn't enjoy this service at all!!! I don't recommend this place, as they were doing my pedicure I wanted to get up and take my money some place else. They were what seemed like rude and acted as if they didn't want to be there. Which obviously has nothing to do with me they chose that career I just came to get my feet done. If I'm not mistaken a pedi consist of them taking dead skin off ur feet, I came home and took the foam sandals off and instead of the smooth feeling your suppose to HAVE they felt dry and crusty from the chemicals. I had a pedi appointment for three people and out of the two they were satisfied and I noticed they got what looks like a cheese grind taken to there feet and I didn't. That's why I still have dead skin on my feet and heal. she just took the scrubber sponge to them and just seemed like she didn't want to be bothered to do the job right . I think this was discrimination i came with my white relative being the only black girl. My paint is coming off as we speak my feet aren't smooth to the touch and I can vouch for that because THERE WERE THREE PEOPLE at one appointment. How come I'm the only one not satisfied and it's not only that it's not done right... still paid and have a tip you guys didn't deserve. I've been here twice before and haven't been impressed. The first time I got a regular manicure and the polish was completely chipped off within 2 days. The next time, I got a manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure was awesome, very relaxing and held up well. I came in with long nails and the man doing my manicure completely butchered my nails. He used a nail file to take off almost an inch, which was super painful and made my nails very brittle. The gel lasted about a week and I'm used to gel manicures lasting 2-3 weeks. read more

I have never experienced such horrible customer service while having nails done in all of my life. My mom, best friend, and I made an appointment and went in. They were overbooked and kept accepting walk-ins. My nails were finished before my mom was even seated at a station. They were seating walk-ins before my mom who had an appointment! They started my friend's nails and then halfway through had her move to another station and she had to wait 30 additional minutes for someone to even come finish her nails. They were extremely rude and acted so bothered by us asking for updates and to have our nails finished while they kept taking walk-in after walk-in. The nail tech made me bleed on several fingers because she was rushing and she didn't clean up under my nails when she was done so I have huge chunks of acrylic under my nails. So glad I found K. W. Nails & Spa. They haven't been open very long but she already has a very large client base due to her fabulous customer service and excellent product. Lily is the owner and she does a wonderful job always making sure you get in on time and that you are happy with the service. One of the things I also love about the salon is that it is very clean. They use hygienic liners in the pedicure basins which gives me that extra bit of security. They are also one of the few places in Utah that is staying current with nail trends and has dip, if you haven't tried dip yet you are missing out. read more

Well staffed. I walked in and saw so many people inside. I had an appointment at 5pm and my only complaint is I had to wait for 30 minutes before they sat me down. Once I sat down I could see why they were a little late getting me in. They do a good job with each person who enters their salon. My nail lady was Kylee. I wanted an acrylic manicure. I never leave reviews but I had to jump on Yelp and leave a five star review for the service we received at this nail salon tonight. I came in with my mom and sister for pedicures. We last-minute decided to get manicures and they stayed late (over an HOUR late) to make sure they happened. They had relaxing music playing, offered us drinks, were impeccably clean (to the point that each tub was lined to be more sterile) and most importantly-- provided high quality work. Fan for life. I drive from Salt Lake down to this shop because I can't find one in Salt Lake I like as much. I have three very important 'must-haves'. They must be open on Sunday, they must do dipping powder, and they must do it right! KW has all three. After moving I tried multiple salons and was disappointed every time. It was my first time getting acrylics nails and I was excited. While there were shaping my nails they cut my hands more than once and the painting isn't the best like you can see where they overlap. Went in today to get my nails done with my sister, and the guy doing my nails did a HORRIBLE job. I asked for acrylics and he filed them down way past the point I asked for. My actual nail is longer than the acrylic extension. Why would I pay an extra $20 for acrylics if theyre not going to add any length??He also filed them crooked one of them is actually like at a 45 degree angle. He also did not do them the way I've had acrylics done every other time I've gone somewhere to get my nails done. Usually they mix the powder with the solution and spread it around on your nail he just put something wet on my nail and dipped my entire finger in the tub of powder. Like literally so unsanitary who knows how many other fingers have been dipped in that same tub. They're also lumpy and I had to go back in to get the texture fixed because they were like the texture of sandpaper when I left? Not smooth at all. I only go get my nails done maybe twice a year, and was excited but they seriously turned out so awful. I'm pretty sure the guy was on drugs too. Straight up. I usually never leave reviews on places and I hate to be that person that complains, but this was literally the worst experience. read more
