I called Texas Handyman on Thurs Nov 6 around 2pm to inquire about installation of new kitchen cabinets in my master bedroom suite. Jack, the owner, answered the phone and after a brief discussion, asked me to send him a few pics of the project which I immediatley did. Once he reviewed, he told me he and his crew could do the installation the next day. He asked if he could come over that evening to spec out the project, pre-plan, and prepare for the next morning; I told him sure. He came that night and set up the install for the next morning. The next morning Jack and his team arrived on time and did a great job on the project. They finished the project timely and with quality. When they were done, they even cleaned up after themself which is not always a given with contractors. From the time I initially called them to project completion was less than 24 hours!! I visited their showroom about one month ago and was really interested in getting work done on my home. The sales rep Ali was nice and helpful, and he said he needed a $500.00 deposit to secure pricing for 10 days. Me and my sister gave him $ 500.00. My credit was not approved and my sister could not get the cash needed to fund her project. I paid via credit card and my sister paid cash. We both requested a refund for the $ 500.00 and they told me they would credit the money back to my credit card. To this date we have not received our money back. They are avoiding telling her how she can get her money back. I sent them an email requesting my refund and I am getting no response. At this point I am disappointed in the way they are avoiding us.
