One of my favorite places to eat in Vero. Especially before or after a movie at Majestic!

It was very nice and quiet, with a great view of the bar top. Very open and a little chilly so make sure you bring your jacket! The service was very nice and speedy with drink refills. The gyoza was so juicy and full of flavor. The rainbow roll was something new I tried and it did not disappoint! The salmon sushi is my go to and was of course my favorite of the day and the yellow tail was good but had an interesting texture so I had my boyfriend finish my piece lol. And for drinks they have a full bar and wine list, as well as coke products (root beer included) and a lot of teas to try out! read more

I'm not a huge fan of authentic Asian food, and so I opted to get the vegetable fried rice. It was tasty - I especially liked how the broccoli and carrots were so flavorful. The fried egg added a wonderful crispy texture to the meal. A lot of times, in fried rice dishes, you can't taste the vegetables. That was not the case here. The portions were not very big in comparison to the fried rice bowls at nearby Asian restaurants. The décor and tables are classy, and definitely give it more of an upscale feel. There is a wide variety of sushi options, with varying price levels for different kinds. The service was helpful, but I did not like that they build in the tip amount into the total. So when you get the bill, it gives you the option to leave an "additional tip." This, to me, is deceiving. In my opinion, the customer should be the one deciding what to tip, not the restaurant. read more

Great service and even better food! Our server was very friendly and recommended a few items to us which were incredible. I have always driven by but was finally fascinated enough to come in, the interior is beautiful and I was overall amazed with every aspect of my meal. Incredibly average to below average sushi. Nothing felt or tasted fresh. The roll I hated the least was the soft shell crab. But anything with raw sushi was not great. Plus the spicy salmon rolls were covered with kimchi sauce instead of the usual spicy mayo. Korean sauce poured on Japanese sushi? Wtf? Take out order. But will return to either dine in or order more items for the menu. Bought the lunch bento box. Aesthetically, it doesn't resemble a bento box for me. Even when having to go orders from other restaurants, they give it to you in actual plastic bento boxes. Still, this does not mean it is not worth it. However, I would like to try the dinner bento box to see if portions do change/increase. The California roll is basic and not all that, a hint too much rice maybe? Also the rice is not as sticky and does fall apart when trying to eat the roll. The crab Rangoon flavor is amazing so is the gyoza. The salmon was slightly overcooked and small, but again maybe it is standard lunch size. The veggies were cooked nicely, maybe again slightly overcooked. The salad flavor was delicious and fresh. Overall, I would recommend based on the great flavor their food has. read more

Not a place I hear about very much but boy are people sleeping on this place. The service was attentive, the menu had so many different options. This has been my go-to sushi spot since they opened!! Even though I don't live in VB anymore, I still stop and get a roll or two whenever I'm in town! I am a fan of most of their rolls (and honestly, besides Thai tea, that's all I've ever eaten there). Their baked rolls are what stole my heart, the Orange Blossom Roll and the Kamikaze being my faves. They also have sushi pizza that my whole family was nuts about until they changed the recipe. It hasn't been the same since. Still overall, they have some of the best selections of sushi (raw, baked, & fried) in Vero Beach. read more

I've come in so much that they know me by name and my cousins name (who fly's in from NYC). All their sushi is big and cheap in price, I end up always sharing meals with those I bring. Weird location deep in a dark hidden shopping center, but pleasantly surprised when we walked in, dark but interesting decor. Now the food: the seaweed salad with squid was the best seaweed salad we've ever had. The rolls were beautiful and delicious, some of the best eel we've had south of NYC. My first time here, and what a pleasant surprise! Finally, a full-sized, full service, clean sushi restaurant in Vero that's not a Thai food restaurant in disguise. The service is friendly and efficient, the menu is comprehensive, and most importantly the sushi is fresh. I had the sashimi deluxe for dinner for $26 it was very generous. Especially noteworthy was the escolar which melted in your mouth. Now that I've discovered this place, it is my new go to sushi spot in Vero. read more

I ordered Maki Lunch with a Crunch Shrimp Roll (shrimp sushi) and Philly Roll (salmon sushi) with crab rangoon and a side salad. The rangoon and salad were fine, but my shrimp was definitely substituted for IMITATION crab. You would think this would not be a problem on the coast of south Florida but apparently not. I questioned the order with my server and she reassured me it was actually shrimp, but its not my first time seeing shrimp or imitation crab. Although it is located in a strip mall, the interior would have you believe otherwise. I stopped by Izziban for lunch with my mom on Black Friday. The hostess was welcoming and the service was prompt. The food was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had baby octopus on the menu. This is an item that is left off of the menu all too often in my opinion. I will be sure to stop in here again the next time I am visiting family in the area. read more

Ok this is some seriously good sushi. We are visiting from Southern California and it's hard to compete with sushi there, but this is some of the best I've ever had. The fish tastes extremely fresh, no globs of sauce or spicy mayo needed to add flavor. Just good fish and rice. My boyfriend ordered the bibimbop with bulgogi and I had the chirashi bowl. They were both delicious! The sashimi in the chirashi bowl basically melted in my mouth. Also very good was the roll I got - I got a philly roll but instead of cream cheese I got the crab mix - so good. The service is great as well. FIVE stars for sure. read more

Disappointed :/ I ordered takeout and got the beauty and the beast roll and a sweet potato roll as well as the gyozas. The gyozas were okay. The sweet potato was hard and I definitely prefer a softer sweet potato roll. But the worst was the beauty and the beast- it has tuna and eel on top of it neither of which tasted or looked fresh. Wouldn't recommend but giving two stars because I did not taste any of the other cooked dishes. read more

Could be a lot better. Avocado rolls were meh, Californian rolls were meh. Ordered a side of fries for 5 bucks and came out extremely small, wouldn't kill you to put a few more fries in fryer if you are charging$5. Went last night for the first time in months... the A/C unit was making a chirping sound. Waiter said the new owners don't want to pay the $600 to fix it. Also they lost their alcohol license a month ago! What?? We stayed.. the sushi was acceptable but we wondered what other corners management is taking since the A/C and liquor license don't seem important to them. It will be a long time before we return, if ever. read more

Went here on a weekday afternoon -- nice, chill atmosphere. The owner even came out to check on our table. I was babysitting two toddlers and they were welcome -- booster seats were provided. For them, I ordered Chicken nuggets and Banana Nut sushi roll (their mom doesn't want them eating raw meat). I myself ate the Banana Nut sushi roll and must say it's delicious! read more

Had the fantasy roll and super crunch roll with a white sangria. The sangria is very sweet. And the fantasy roll is so huge I have to eat it in two bites which messes the flavor up. Nothing outstanding about either of these rolls but not bad either. The waitress didn't seem very friendly. read more
