This group of guys laid absolutely beautiful 'top quality' hardwood floors. They did an amazing job - we chose a two tone very good quality hickory floors. 7 years later they look brand new. I was in their shopping center today, and remembered I been meaning to do a review. So 6/7 years later... I just now took a few pics. I flipped area rug to show floor well. Honestly this high traffic area has alway been exposed. I only recently am trying out large area rug (pets love it and high traffic area). Thing is - floors are holding up BETTER THAN ME. GROUP of guys started and in like 2 days, 20 year old carpet up and out, and gorgeous floors installed. 2/3 days - I was like in shock. They were so accommodating with helping me coordinate with my dogs and all details that come with this huge job, such as furniture and dogs... Love floors - they absolutely exceeded my expectations. He directed us to the area rugs and briefly described each section. He then returned to the front of the store and we were greeted by Cory, the owner. We asked some questions about a particular rug and he answered all of them. The prices are reasonable and we are considering making a purchase. I would recommend this store. He showed me some options while another gentleman gave me a book to take home and told me to go online and try the flooring in my room online. I called on a Friday to inform them I would be off the following Saturday I was told to call Saturday morning and Bob would be able to help me. I called & Bob came over and took the measurements with no pre-appointment I was able to go back to the store and get some large sample boards and take them home and see how they looked in the lighting in my house awesome customer service by all the staff. Starting in August 24, 2023 Mike called me back with a price for the work I needed done. Him & his staff Sabrina & Bob were absolutely awesome. Fortunately & unfortunately for me when Sabrina & crew came by to lay the floor down my subflooring was rotted & when I asked about the kitchen I was told my dishwasher was placed under the subfloor & if the floor was put in & the dishwasher failed or needed to be replaced (which I was planning on) the floor, countertops & cabinets would have to be ripped out. Wait! What?! Dayum! Wasn't expecting that. Because of their honesty & integrity I later found out that The back room was improperly installed on a wooden deck that is rotting and sinking into the ground so now my back room has to be demolished and rebuilt! UGHH!! And to think all because I wanted a new floor. Soooooo! Now all these months later I'm still figuring out what needs to be remodeled & what actually can be remodeled. Not having fun yet. But I'm grateful for A-1 Carpets help with giving me a contractor's number & working with my crazy work schedule. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. 3-27-2022
