Here is why, these guys are HONEST mechanics not interested in ripping people off. I know, you may find it hard to believe. Finding an honest mechanic is like finding an honest spouse or business partner, once you've got them, you never want to let them go! I was in there this afternoon after having troubles with one of my vehicles, certain that I needed at least a new starter and possibly more. Not the case, upon their diagnostic check they found there was an issue with a sensor, they reset it, re-diagnosed to be certain, tested it and everything was gravy. The best part was they didn't charge me a dime! Nothing, nada, zilch! Not even for the diagnosis which they initially quoted at $99.00 and I had agreed to pay. Even better than that, I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. If you haven't found your honest mechanic in this life, fret not, hope is alive, for now you have! These guys are the real deal and have gained a customer for life.

Someone should talk to them about the lack of coherency and consistency in the quality of street-planning. Despite the confusion and the odd angle at which it is set, Debey's seems always to have plenty of customers. The number of returned customers alone tells us something about the quality of the work. Furthermore, I can vouch that the owner is not one of these types of mechanics that wishes a robot would deliver the vehicle to be repaired so he wouldn't ever have to talk to people. Martin Debey is a friendly fellow, doesn't make you wait an inordinate amount of time, and so far has priced his work competitively. (That means, they are not too expensive.) Also, if something doesn't quite work out, say a repair is made, but the vehicle still shows signs of the problem or of a problem that might be related, Mr. Debey doesn't hesitate to take the vehicle back and work on it again until the problem is solved. We've had better luck calling ahead and making an appointment. That probably makes their lives easier, too, as that way they don't have twice as many cars handed over for repairs on Friday as they do on Monday. All's fair in love and auto-mechanics. But you should still play fair in both places. Good work. The shop diagnosed a solenoid block failure, along with leaks, and performed repairs costing over $3,000. Immediately after the repair, my vehicle exhibited new issues, including grinding sensations and heavy idling, which were NOT present before. Concerned, I called AAMCO on January 14, 2025, at 4:39 PM MST, reporting these issues and requesting an inspection under warranty. Your representative dismissed my concerns, suggesting it was the catalytic converter, and told me to call back if further problems occurred. I was not advised to stop driving or bring the vehicle in for an inspection. Shortly after, my transmission failed completely, and AAMCO is now demanding $5,238.64 for a transmission rebuild, despite failing to fix the issue in the first place.
