We needed a mechanic for our daughter when she went to UNC in Greeley. We had a few recommendations including Debey's. They are fairly close to the school, and we have been extremely happy. The first problem she had with her car, we got a quote from them, and when the work was complete the total came out lower which was great. They treated her very well, and she was very happy with everything, especially how helpful they were. Since then she has been in for various minor items and fluid checks and they have always been great. Recently someone hit her car in parking lot and Manny was able to get her bumper reattached quickly and got her back on the road. We definitely recommend Debey's. read more

I had to get my breaks replaced and I'm so glad I went here! They were extremely responsive and up front about all the costs. They were very professional and polite and got everything done quickly. I was able to put their work to the test a couple weeks later when a car pulled out in front of me and I had to slam on the breaks to avoid an accident. If I could give zero stars I would. Took my car here for a diagnostic and was told it would be 1100 to fix everything. I got it fixed and the signal lights that were once on were off and presumably everything was good. However, not even 48 hours later did my car start over heating again and the same problems began to ensue. I brought my car back and let them know that it wasn't fixed and they said they'd look at it again. As they claim, apparently a new issue(blown head gasket) was at hand and it was going to cost 4,000 dollars to fix! Now me being a young girl, I suspected they were trying to take advantage of me and got a male family friend involved. They quoted him 1700 for the same exact problem... Biggest question I was left wondering was: if the head gasket was blown why didn't they mention that in the original diagnostic?? In short, this place seems extremely shady in the way they conduct bussiness and see clients more as a price tag than someone they can help. read more

Manny was extremely helpful. My truck had broken down so I was calling around to see if I could get it towed to a shop. I had been turned down by three shops, one which was super rude and basically told me I should just find somewhere else. Finally I was able to get it towed to DeBeys around 10am and it was done around 3-4pm that same day. They were able to change a botched fuel pump job so I'm extremely grateful for them. They corrected the problem with ease and they were so speedy. Definitely going to make this my main place to go for vehicle problems. read more

Amazing service always, I've taken my Subaru in for little fix ups in the past and after my car being hit this week I called and was able to come right in. The bumper was fixed in no time. Not only is DeBey's flexible and time conscious but they have amazing customer service every time always making sure to go above and beyond. Debey's Service is located right on 9th street. Or is it 9 1/2th Street? Kind of hard to tell, given the odd way the City of Greeley has handled the inter-inter-intersection of 23rd Avenue, Ninth Street (one-way), Tenth Street (one-way) and Tenth Street (two-way). Someone should talk to them about the lack of coherency and consistency in the quality of street-planning. Despite the confusion and the odd angle at which it is set, Debey's seems always to have plenty of customers. The number of returned customers alone tells us something about the quality of the work. Furthermore, I can vouch that the owner is not one of these types of mechanics that wishes a robot would deliver the vehicle to be repaired so he wouldn't ever have to talk to people. Martin Debey is a friendly fellow, doesn't make you wait an inordinate amount of time, and so far has priced his work competitively. (That means, they are not too expensive.) Also, if something doesn't quite work out, say a repair is made, but the vehicle still shows signs of the problem or of a problem that might be related, Mr. Debey doesn't hesitate to take the vehicle back and work on it again until the problem is solved. We've had better luck calling ahead and making an appointment. That probably makes their lives easier, too, as that way they don't have twice as many cars handed over for repairs on Friday as they do on Monday. All's fair in love and auto-mechanics. But you should still play fair in both places. Good work. Very dissatisfied with the service here. They charged me for an estimate on my brakes where at any other auto-shop they do it over the phone. On top of being charged for this estimate the employee was very rude and didn't even do a full estimate check on what I asked. When he was explain the estimate to me it did not make sense and when I asked questions regarding what he meant he got really short tempered and irritated with me. I will never bring my car back to this shop again. read more

Absolutely great service. I was surprised how fast they got me in and how quickly my car was fixed. I was offered a ride home after I dropped it off as well as a ride to the shop when it was ready to pick up. They also have a 2 year 24,000 mile warranty on new parts and labor! I can absolutely say I will return to this shop for any of my cars needs as well as recommended them to everyone I know!! read more

I took my van in because of intermittent starting issues and the display would flash and freak out. I thought I was facing a very expensive repair. Turns out, it was just loose battery cables. When I went to pick up my car they charged me $0. They didn't even charge me to diagnose the car. I will use them in the future and will recommend them to everyone I know. Martin DeBey is trustworthy. For the last six years or so I've brought many vehicles here for service. I've trusted that only the needed repairs will be completed at a fair price. Martin and Rudy have stepped up and pulled me out of a jam in the middle of a snow storm on one occasion, and have backed up their work without hesitation. Within a week of moving to Greeley my car started acting up. Not knowing where to take it in this new community, I went to the BBB website and found Debeys Service had not had any complaints in three years, so I took my car to them as it was close to my home. These folks did a wonderful job at keeping me informed and even gave me a loaner car while they figured out what was going with the vehicle. They had to order the parts and within 2 days my car was as good as new. I would highly recommend their service as they did an excellence job and kept me informed during the whole process. read more

Horrible place to take your car. They charge for parts that were never replaced - This place has been around for 50 years plus and under "dad's direction was reputable.
