We decided to run the rest of our errands while the fish was being prepared. We were gone for about 30 minutes. As we entered the fish market I realized I lost my receipt. The cashier recognized me and said I thought you left or forgot your fish. Thankfully he didn't need my receipt. I thought it was really nice of him to place the fish to the side for me until I returned.

It's a very pungent smell. I remember watching the Food Network one day & I will never forget this message from a food scientist. "A fish store should never smell like fish".
