I spent well over a 100 grand on windows framing lumber sheathing zipboard doors siding fixtures trim decking railings and so much more. I purchased LP siding in late 2018 and was installed into early 2019. I paid extra to have the siding double coated which was presented as a 50 year warranty. Within a couple of years I noticed the siding chalking and the trim opening up like a sponge. In early 2022 I presented this issue to Scott Czapar who was my salesperson that I had been dealing with since day one. Schillings had purchased the LP siding from Cedar Siding INC which has since gone out of business. I spoke to both Scott and Kyle who brought this to the attention of Dean Schillings. I paid 7500 dollars in labor and 1500 in materials to have my house repainted. I was asking Schillings to cover half the cost of materials which was 750 dollars in which they denied. They suggested that the warranty was from the company they bought the siding from. I bought the siding from Schillings not anywhere else. I will not spend 10 cents at their company ever again. Scott Czapar has never been the issue and has always gone above and beyond to address the many issues that came about. Also anyone reading this please go out and look at your siding and see if it has failed! I can guarantee that I am not the only person this has happened to. Below are the before and after photos and so obvious of the failure of their product!

All documentation stated 32" x 32" ramped…read more When it arrived the base was 32" wide and 26" deep and were informed that there was a separate 6" ramp that need to be installed in front of the base leaving a seam between the two. When called, our service rep who put the order together stated this was a manufacturers mistake and she would reorder. She then called back days later after she found out she ordered incorrectly and said that this correct though all documentation states the opposite. Schilling was unwilling to correct their mistake and state to apply a bed of silicone between the two pieces. Don't utilize their bed and bath department.
